Woodbridge Crossing is a high-end steakhouse located in beautiful Woodbridge, California. The sophisticated menu consists of favorites like pasta, steak, seafood and poultry. Great food with a good old fashioned restaurant feel. Service is great too. Prime Rib is delicious. So glad we re+discovered this old building that we went to pre-prom dinners at 45+ years ago. Our new favorite place!
This was my first visit to Woodbridge Crossing. Being that it was my birthday I wanted to go somewhere different. I started looking for places and found great reviews. My family was excited to go somewhere different as well.
Appetizer of zucchini sticks were fresh and hot. Great menu to choose from. It wasn't too overwhelming for choices; nice and simple. I had the stuffed prawns, loaded baked potato and grilled veggies. They were amazing.
However, Our server Tara was left a little short with help. She was running the tables and helping at the bar with all the happy hour appetizers. So it took a little longer than expected to get our plates picked up, refills for drinks, and bring the cake to the table.
Service was great, food came out very quickly and the atmosphere was very nice. They had a band that was setting up to play but we couldn't stay to see them perform.
Will definitely be back for dinner and drinks in the future!
I made the reaervation for my parents for Father's Day. When they arrived they were told there was no reservation even after my mom showed the hostess the email confirmation. No accommodations were made for them.
We had a great meal, the New York steak and the salmon entrees were excellent. However the restaurant was not prepared for a busy Valentine's Day. It took an hour for our meal to arrive after we were seated and our order was taken. Other diners who were also waiting told us that the restaurant had run out of items on their special menu. Also there was no sign of the live music that was in the Open Table listing and we did no leave until after 8 PM.
OpenTable messed up our reservation, they where for 5:30, the business was told 4:30. This caused us to be seated in the bar and not in the dinning room. A $300 meal in a cafeteria setting. Too loud. The waitress was stressed, did a nice job when the meals where not correct.
The old building is beautiful outside and in, and the dining area is classy and clean. We made reservations and were shown immediately to our table. They were setting up for a band in the front room so the place was busy and there was a lot of energy, which makes sense for a Friday night. The food seemed expensive, but after eating, it was worth the price. Everything was delicious from the appetizers to the dinner. I only wish I had room left for dessert! The overall feel and experience made for a special night. About our food: Appetizer - the calamari. This wasn't the usual small fried pieces heaped on a plate like some others. You only get ten or so, but these were big, juicy fried pieces that came with two great sauces (the cocktail sauce was amazing with a nice spiciness to it). So in the end, they give you more calamari than other places and it is cooked nicely. The bread that was served was warm and toasty on the outside and moist on the inside, seemed to come right out of the oven! Wine - Ordered a Woodbridge Riesling, very nice. Dinner - I ordered the stuffed prawns, which I ordered with the garlic mashed potatoes, sauteed green beans and squash and house salad. The veggies were cooked to tender, seasoned to taste, while the mashed potatoes were a nice sized portion with a nice mild garlic flavor. The prawns were crispy and hot, right out of the fryer. Inside, they were creamy and melted in your mouth. My wife ordered the mushroom raviolis in a Marsala sauce and the house salad. They were awesome! They smelled so good that I had to try some, so traded two of my prawns for some of her dish! The smell and taste of the sauce was incredible. I could have eaten three plates of that! Overall it was pricey, but the food and experience made it worth it. This would be a good place to go out for a special night.
Found this gem on Open Table. Friendly service, great atmosphere. Enjoyed our steaks very much! Will definitely go back, would like to enjoy the patio during a lunch meal.
Seems like the prices increased significantly since our last visit a couple of months back. Not sure if we will be back. $12.95 for a artichoke appetizer seems ridiculous! Dinner overall wasn't worth the higher prices.
Really nice staff, owner Steve has a good thing going in this beautiful building. Service isn't especially fast. Prime rib was split and we couldn't come close to finishing it. Give it a try!
The Prime Rib could not have been better. It was melt in your mouth cooked perfect with the best flavor I have had in years. The ambiance with the live music could not be beat. Thank you for the best meal and entertainment I have had in a long time for a cost that was reasonable. Keep up the great everything a meal that was a real treat with live music. I do appreciate the owner coming around to great the guests. Thank you for a outstanding evening. I will be back.
We were on the road home and wanted to eat out of the way of usual route and found this great restaurant using the "Open Table" application. I was able to get a signal to make the reservation. The restaurant is located north of Lodi in a quiet location near the vineyards. You walk into a saloon type area but you see the restaurant part towards the back. I loved the dark but cozy decor. We were greeted warmly by the hostess and were seated immediately. You can hear a local vocal group setting up in the bar area and began playing "real" music of the rock and roll era. They have a very nice selection of wine along with a full bar. They had a wide selection of menu items from burgers to prime rib to pasta dishes. I ordered their "smaller" prime rib of 12-14 oz and my husband ordered the pork ribs. Both items came with a small salad, choice of potato and vegetables. I had a glass of the house Woodbridge Sauvignon Blanc which was excellent. When the meal arrived, I couldn't believe the size of the prime rib I ordered! It was a beautiful cut of meat and so tender. My husband really enjoyed the meaty ribs and we were only able to eat half our dish and took the rest home. The waitress was very attentive and made our meal even more pleasant. I would definitely go back again!
The prices were on the expensive side. But the food was great and the atmosphere was nice.
We had a movie reservation and they moved right along to make sure we got out in time to not miss the movie. My husband and I go there quite often for date night and we will continue to go there.
This restaurant would be a "find" if not so overpriced.
The bruschetta appetizer was terrible - salsa on a stale soggy bread..

This was our first visit to Woodbridge Crossing on Valentine's Day. Service was off to a poor start, took 20 minutes for someone to visit our table. While other tables around us had similar problems to start, they ended up having a better waitress then we did. We were not offered pepper for our salads, refills on drinks, more bread, to look at the dessert menu, etc. We asked for a take home box which we never received.The food was great, perhaps a little too expensive.
On average, the food was good (3 stars). The garlic mashed potatoes were the highlight of the plate (4 stars) but nothing to write home about and the prime rib was probably not worth what we paid for it.
The food was bland and expensive. Blender at the bar was broken. I would never go back, not a good experience.
We were greeted at the door by the owner and all of our special requests were met.
The owner came by to make sure everything was to our liking.
Wait staff was friendly, helpful and timely to our needs without being an annoyance.
The food is very nice and fit for a romantic evening. If you have a special occasion I would recommend.
Had a great lunch with a variety of fun food choices (try the calamari appetizer!) Service was okay maybe a little understaffed for the fairly
large lunch crowd that was there.
Word of caution... Check your bill as Im pretty sure I was overcharged on a couple of items. Didn't mention it then because I didn't want it to be noticed by my guests at the time. Not a deal breaker for sure but a little disappointing nonetheless.
We chose Woodbridge Crossing to celebrate my mom's birthday. We had looked forward to it for days! Sadly, it was quite a disappointment. Our waitress was slow and inattentive, and we didn't receive bread or butter. After several requests we got the bread but the butter never came. The prices for dinner were very high and the quality was terrible! The New York Steak was average at best, no seasoning at all. And the baked potatoes had fake bacon bits! It was a very disappointing night and we will not be going back.
It was a very busy night. Reservation on a Friday night was nice touch. Was seated and ordered drinks and then food. Food took longer than last visit, understandable. Food was hot and served well proportion on plate. Salad or soup, bread and meal with potato, greens an main course.

Food was really good. The inside was really interesting with many old items. The owner was very personable and the waitresses upbeat and friendly.
Always friendly staff and a fun and comfortable environment. Your host greeted us like long lost friends. Great Prime Rib and a very nice wine list.
My friend's husband is a meat & potatoes guy - no vegetables - he was very emphatic that his steak was to be well done and other than the steak and pototo he didn't want 'anything else on his plate or it would go back' - everything was perfect! Thank you

Service was by far the best thing about this resturant. From other reviews, this is definitely consistent. Fiod was good, but not great. Ordered the prime rib. I would go back.
I arrived with something in mind but got a surprise. It was Italian Night. The app on my phone told me nothing about it. We stayed and gave it a try. Not bad but just had our hearts set on something else. I'll definitely call next time before showing up. But great friendly service and very helpful.
This is a fantastic restaurant with the best service and very high quality food. Great steaks, seafood etc. Super soups and salads. They even modified the fish and fixed it blackened for us. You have to try this place.
I have had Prime Rib here twice. A couple years ago on Christmas Day and them again this past Christmas Eve. While it is a nice thick cut of meat it is very tough and we were to jazzed about the Baby Back Ribs either. They were dried out.

the eggplant parmesan had an excellent sauce and abundant cheese but the eggplant was not cooked through.
the ribs had a great sauce but they were rewarmed and hard in some places. I think we hit this place on an off night

The food was superb, generous portions and well prepared, the ambiance was nice, and Lori our server was excellent! All in all, a great dining experience.
Menu has a wide variety of selections. Three of us had beef (prime rib and filet) which was scrumptious. The other person had seafood pasta which was equally as good.
Beef had loaded potato, salad and vegetables included. All good and great to have these kinds of extras included.
Desserts were huge and worth the (moderate) price.
Food was very good and service was excellent. Our server went out of her way to make the children in our party of seven feel welcome and entertained. Would certainly come again when I'm in the area

Food was outstanding, particularly the prime rib - the best I have ever had. Well seasoned, very tender, and healthy portion. Service was timely and friendly. Being from the area but moved away, will make this the go-to place when visiting home and family.
