   Delicious food. Fresh and nice presentation. A little smoky in the restaurant due to the smoked cocktails. Once crowd thinned it was easier to talk. Busy for a Wednesday night!

   We have been a few times in the past and had a good experiance. This time for brunch the food and drinks were sub par at best. I ordered the veggie Benedict and it was very bland and boring. The hollendaise had no flavor at all. My husband ordered the breakfast tacos and there was 2 pieces of chorizo in the whole dish and both our bloody caesar's were not enjoyable. Our service was great but so very disappointed in the food and drinks.

   Great food. We had the tomato soup, the burger, and the banana bread french toast. The soup was very flavorful. The burger and fries were very tasty, and the French toast was loaded with huckleberries and included slices of banana. Every order was more than ample in size.

   We ordered small plates - and while some were better than others, they were all unique and flavorful - there is something for everyone. Service was excellent. The small plates were paced throughout the evening so that everything was hot when we ate it. Empty plates were efficiently cleared and we were checked on frequently. The tables are small and close together, one nice thing about that is that it gives you a chance to see what others are eating. It was cozy, but not cramped. It is loud. This was our first visit, and we will be back. Hopefully the small plate menus changes w/ some frequency.

   The food was fine, the cocktails good, but (after one of us had finished the meal but the other had not) we were asked about wrapping things up every 4-5 minutes. It was just after 3:00pm on a Sunday, most tables were empty, we were not keeping anyone from their reservation --- so to pressure us to leave was both needless and rude. I won't be back; message received.

    Our family loves this place because of the food quality and drinks. The best thing about here is taking reservations and the only drawback was loud especially diner time.

    The images on the website are not a good representation of the establishment - I was lead to believe that Woodblock would be a more cozy intimate place for a good date night, it is not - it was bright, noisy and our table for 2 was sandwiched in between other 2 tops near the crowded doorway - the service was horrible - we were greeted right away and she took our order and answered effectively any questions we had but then we really didn't see her again until it was time for the check, there was no follow up as to how our meal was and it took a good 15 minutes to track her down to get our check. The food was ok, the only item I would recommend is the Scotch egg - delish! Our main courses were nothing to write home about - if you want a loud, crowded, lack of service, un-romantic place to go - then please, go to Woodblock

    Never miss ordering the calamari! Marvelous tasty combination of fried calamari over hummus, with harissa, golden raisins. If brisket is on the specials menu-yum!

    Meh, that about sums up our experience. The restaurant had an upscale bar feel. The food choices appeared interesting but the taste fell flat. We weren't impressed with any of our choices, which included the octopus appetizer, gnocchi, scallops, and bread pudding dessert. The scallops were cooked well but the rest of the dish was only okay. The gnocchis were quite large and doughy. I felt that the Woodblock may be a better lunch option or casual dinner with friends (my husband and I were on a date night).

    The service was speedy despite the place being packed. They seated us quickly (we had reservations). The menu was different and some of it was a bit odd for us but we enjoyed what we ordered. The fried chicken is the best! The old fashioned was ok, could have used ice. The noise level was pretty high but still made for a fun atmosphere. Overall a great time!

    Food was really good and service was very friendly! It was super quiet and they were closing early due to the weather + Super Bowl, but they let us stay and chat for as long as we wanted and weren’t pushy at all (thanks!!) love this place as a regular go-to for a relaxed yet ambient catch up with a friend.

    We met some friends here and had a reservation for 5:15 on a Friday night. The place was busy the whole time, and crowded at the door which is a pinch spot-not for claustrophobics. Happy hour prices include some small plates from a limited menu that can be ordered from any seat in the restaurant. Roasted cauliflower with no sauces was plain but healthy, and the chicken wings were good with two sauces one sweet and one mildly spicy. I picked this place for the gluten-free options and fresh sounding menu. It was good for both. The quinoa-kale salad with salmon or chicken extra was good. The waiter said they could not remove the jalapenos from the salad but we could not taste them at all. Salad was delicious. Recommend a reservation since this isn't a super big place.

    We had some delicious Gnocchi with short ribs and a tasty Kale salad. I will come back for those two. The wine inventory must have been low, because it took 3 tries to get a bottle of wine that was in stock.

    I’ve tried woodblock once before for dinner and loved their gnocchi. So I met a friend for brunch and got the house made biscuits and the brisket hash. The biscuits were divine! Crunchy and slightly sweet on the outside and warm and fluffy on the inside. The hash however was disappointing... the meat was dry even tho everything was hot when they brought it out. And the horse radish cream had no kick at all. The dish didn’t have much flavoring either so had to use a lot of salt and pepper. Overall the food was a let down. I won’t be going back for brunch. The service was great tho and since dinner was yummy before I may try again for the dinner menu.

    The service was fair. Our server failed to check back with us and never offered to refill our beverages.Also the server did not bring our meals at the same time which I feel is important. The food, however, was great!
