Wonderful food and wonderful service as always! One of my favorite restaurant spots and I have yet to be disappointed. Will keep coming back!
My go to restaurant in Baltimore.
Always a perfect evening. Food is always delicious. Local and Fresh...
Service is impeccable.
Woodberry Kitchen has been my favorite restaurant in Baltimore for several years now and never fails to deliver a fantastic experience. The food, ambiance, wine/cocktail menu, and service are all stellar. This restaurant is perfect for a celebration, business dinner, first date, anniversary, or really any time that you're in the mood for an overwhelmingly satisfying and thoroughly enjoyable experience. A special mention, Virginia, the manager/sommelier is one of the most knowledgeable, lovely, and personable staff members of any restaurant that I've ever been to. She describes both the wine and food with such passion and expertise that it creates an aura of what could almost be described as a romantic excitement for whatever item she is recommending. I would give this restaurant my strongest recommendation and have no doubt that not only will you not be disappointed, but you will most likely leave with this being your new favorite restaurant as well.
We had a wonderful dinner at Woodberry Kitchen the night of Feb 19. We sat upstairs and service was wonderful despite the journey up and down the stairs for the servers. We will definitely be back.
Delicious food, beautiful space, complimentary valet. Totally plan to return. Note: the “flatbread” is a personal pizza.
My boyfriend and I went to Woodberry Kitchen for a late Valentine's Day dinner. The ambiance is beautiful, the waitstaff was excellent, as was the food (get the Cast Iron Skillet Chicken, you'll be blown away), and the drink menu was eclectic and fun to explore. My only complaint was that we had to wait about 15 minutes for our table despite having made a reservation. While I understand it could have potentially been a one-time thing due to the high volume of guests around the Valentine's Day holiday, it was significant enough of a wait time for us to feel a bit forgotten and uncomfortable. Not such a big deal that we wouldn't return. A waitress also gave us a free slice of pie on the house, insisting that even though we were too full right now, we surely would regain an appetite and needed to try the pie. This wasn't lost on us, and definitely made up for the short wait upon arrival.
Good food and service but expensive and very noisy.
We have never been to the Woodberry and it was a hike for us, but it turned out well. They sat us very close to another couple despite a lot of tables open so we did not have a lot of privacy, but it was fine. The food was great and you won't go away hungry.
Excellent! This is farm-to-table done right, with attention to detail and creativity. We came for Sunday brunch and it was perfect. We'll be back.
This is one of our favorite restaurants in town, but Sunday brunch left us cold. We got off to a bad start when the restaurant was behind schedule (understandable) and then proceeded to seat same-size parties that had arrived after us (not understandable). It is frustrating to wait 15 minutes, then watch another party walk up to the hostess stand and be taken immediately to their table; it was worse because we had only an hour for lunch to begin with.
We told the waiter we were in a hurry, and he was good and took our order right away, and the appetizers arrived very promptly (although the cast-iron cornbread had obviously been sitting for a while and wasn't exactly sizzling). But we then waited 20 minutes after we finished the appetizers for our main course, which left us less than 10 minutes to eat. And much to my surprise, the food itself was disappointing; the lamb chilaquiles was very bland, and while I appreciated the thick-cut, very meaty bacon, it was very tough and not enjoyable. The eggs in purgatory was delicious, though, as was the breakfast pizza.
Unfortunately, given the lengthy delays, we were unable to order dessert, which is always my favorite thing. Judging by the orders we watched walk past while waiting, they had their butterscotch pudding, which is just about the best thing in the universe.
Fabulous meatballs! Hubby had chicken liver pate that was also delicious! Love all the small plate options. Always a great meal. And it was snowing.! The view out the window as the snow was landing on the trees was magnificent.
Horrible service ... some of the oysters sour.. waitress had attitude .... very cold and icey entrance only to be told by one manager that it’s lease management company responsibility! Then go to store 2 minutes away and buy salt which they finally did but don’t pass buck to a customer .. food is horrendous and weird
We had a reservation but we had to wait an additional 15 minutes to be seated. After we ordered, we waited an hour for the egg dish. It was very good but not worth the wait. The overall experience was a disappointment. They really need to get better organized.
Really enjoyed the menu and the restaurant. Will definitely be back. Too bad they don't serve Charm City Mead.
I have been to Woodberry before and had excellent food. This time it wasn’t so great. The chicken was burnt and fatty. The biscuit was burnt. My friend got the grains and beans and she said it was mediocre. I got an Irish coffee for dessert and it was gross. Way too much sugar. I felt sick all night. The waitress was not very friendly. It was very disappointing. I will eventually go back but not for a long time.
Delicious drinks, appetizers and main course. Always fabulous - Woodberry never disappoints !
Very unique with industrial factory setting. Very good food and service. Quiet and comfortable setting
It was a great dining experience. We loved the food and vibe of the restaurant. I would definitely recommend this place to people!
I chose this restaurant for our Valentine's Day Dinner. The food and drinks were really delicious and fresh. Our waiter, Brad, was exceptional. The overall service at Woodberry Kitchen is top-notch due to a team approach to customer service. My only complaint is that my meal could have been warmer. I had ordered the scallops and when I took a bite into my meal, it was room temperature. I asked our waiter if the dish should be warmer or is it usually served room temperature. I was informed that it should be warmer. Brad did state that he would inform the kitchen staff . I chose not to return my plate & have it rewarmed because I didn't want to risk my scallops being overcooked. Overall, I would patronize Woodberry Kitchen again. Oh and the HOT BUTTER RUM beverage needs to be a permanent fixture on the menu! Delicious!
