Prime Ny Sirloin Steak
Steak was good, lobster Mac and cheese was watery and no lobster. Drinks were good.
Food was the best it has been. Porter house was amazing so was the Bacon and shrimp cocktail
Did not meet our expectations. There’s better steaks house in NYC.
Amazing steak, solid sides and appetizers.
Amazing food and experience! Would definitely come back to this location.
When I got there the hostess was a little rude to me. I told her that I might only be a party of one so she refused to sit me at a table. She made me sit at the bar which I didn’t really want to do. I looked around and there were several open tables for a one top. Then the food was OK. I would expect more from a steakhouse like Wolfgang‘s. Certain things are the salad plates were not chilled and the plate with the steak on it was not warmed. Expect a little more detail
Great food and service! Fully enjoyed our meal at Wolfgang’s.
I'm not sure if Covid has anything to do with the change in service, but ots definitely not how it was a couple of years back. Bread was served cold, service felt rushed, whipped cream on the dessert tasted old and metallic, the cocktails were all ice. The crab cake was bland. Caesar salad was good, as was the lobster Mac and cheese. The saving grace of course is the steak, which was great. When we arrived it wasn't swarmed with customers or diners, so I can't say we were rushed because it was busy. But it was definitely a rushed dinner. We were done with our anniversary dinner in about 50 minutes, not exactly a romantic time. I will give W's another try when things are really back in the swing post covid, maybe it was just a bad day.
Hands down best steakhouse. The staff are accommodating and the food is delicious!
Great experience. Very consistent. Terrific fresh salad and well prepared and plentiful steak. Nice size cocktails too.
Amazing food, wine and good service good service recommended 100%
As always great steaks, great service !!
Always amazing food, we visit frequently and always enjoy
Dinner was great. The food was very good as always.
Everything was terrific
I’d come here every week if I could. Only negative was having to leave and go outside in the pouring rain. Delicious!
The steak was ok, but the atmosphere and seating in the restaurant were not good. The service was just so-so.
Our steak was really excellent, perfectly cooked, nice cut, and flavorful; and that’s all you really need. We had the porterhouse for two medium rare. German potatoes were terrific and the sautéed broccoli was tastier than anticipated. Appetizers - shrimp cocktail and crab cake were good. Caesar salad was just ok. Service was good but felt a bit rushed by bringing appetizers and salad at same time. I would have preferred to have each as a separate course. Wine list is nice but “by the glass options leave a bit to be desired.” I’d happily come back for another delicious steak!
Greatest steak in NYC
Everything was delicious! Everyone in our party was delighted with everything!
Outstanding! We celebrated our :5th anniversary and it was truly memorable in every way.
Took my boyfriend here for his 24th birthday and to celebrate his promotion. Our reservation were for 9:15pm but they seated us early. The place had a lot of group parties at the time so it was loud but as the night went on the restaurant got to a more intimate tone. The food was great, the drinks and our wonderful waiter Albert!
They were very attentive even though it was the last reservation for the night and they were ready to go. We just made it before the cut off time and they were awesome and polite. The food came quick, was warm and the order was accurate. It is everything you want in an upscale restaurant. Makes it worth every penny and minute spent. They even took pictures for us even though they were very to go. Absolutely great service and the best I’ve had in a long time!
Never disappoints, outstanding steaks and seafood, efficient and courteous waitstaff
Mothers day. Food was not at all tasty. Bland and meats were all tough . Place is expensive and not worth the price . They really need to add more flavors and update the place. Can you imagine chairs were ripped .. bad experience over all. Sad part no chicken .. chicken is basic .went to this place because of its name .. seriously disappointed
Great food and great service
I don't usually write reviews but have to say I was very disappointed at the ribeye steak I was served. While the appetizer was mediocre as well, the sides were OK (crab cake app was too thick and not even cooked in the middle, cold to the touch; not sure who likes their crab cake medium rare?!). But as mentioned earlier, I expected the steak to be above par (after all it's a steakhouse, it's expected). I go to a lot of steakhouses (probably been at 80% of the top steakhouses in NYC), including Wolfgang's in midtown. And I have no problem paying for an expensive steak, but I expect prime quality and flavor for $75 a steak. I'm convinced the one I got was probably Choice quality at best. Maybe it was the way it was cooked as well, but definitely was nowhere close to the ribeye I've had at their midtown location or at other steakhouses for that matter. Servers were attentive and great service overall. Décor and ambiance is typical steakhouse you'd expect in NYC. But they certainly need to up their game on the food quality and their cooking. Needless to say, Wolfgang's Tribeca is not going on my favorite list of restaurants in Tribeca for future visits!
Everything from the reservation process, to paying the bill was easy and completely stress free. The ambiance, food and service were all outstanding!
The dry-aged ribeye cooked medium was excellent and the German potatoes were incredible.
This place has gone downhill. Service was mediocre at best and rushed even though it wasn’t full. Food was average in every way and the place needs a renovation badly. Having to have the middle cleared due to capacity regulations really showed the age of the floors and in general the restaurant was in poor shape. For a $400 dinner it was not at all worth it. Won’t return.
Great, the table was properly spaced for covid and I felt very comfortable inside
Came for lunch and not many selections but the food was very good and the service as well.
Be prepared to pay dinner prices at lunch.
Consistent quality ! Great staff
The food is delicious but the service is aggressive and therefore it makes the environment unpleasant. I felt as if I was in a mass production plant and I was being cranked through a machine. At the end of which many hands dip into my pockets to take what is entitled to be theirs.
I am a long time Peter Luger fan and I often dine at Wolfgangs when unable to get a table at Peter lugers (which is most of the time). Great food etc. bacon slap appetizer, tomato and onion salad, porter house with the extra crispy german fries potatoes and Creamed spinach. Same Luger sauce. Awesome! Worth the trip into the city. Food is 90% plus as good as Lugers minus the tradition.
Waiter was overwhelmed and took a long time to get our food order.
