The food is delicious but the service is aggressive and therefore it makes the environment unpleasant. I felt as if I was in a mass production plant and I was being cranked through a machine. At the end of which many hands dip into my pockets to take what is entitled to be theirs.

I am a long time Peter Luger fan and I often dine at Wolfgangs when unable to get a table at Peter lugers (which is most of the time). Great food etc. bacon slap appetizer, tomato and onion salad, porter house with the extra crispy german fries potatoes and Creamed spinach. Same Luger sauce. Awesome! Worth the trip into the city. Food is 90% plus as good as Lugers minus the tradition.

food and service was incredible, and we were definitely far from other patrons, although I was a little put off as nobody in our party was asked to take their temperature, even after we mentioned it

Our waiter was so friendly like a friend we knew forever. Filet was to die for. Generous size and cooked to perfection. Really enjoyed our visit there.

Never disappointing

Been here a few times and the food and service is always excellent!

Always a great experience and meal when we come accross the Holland Tunnel for a steak at Wolfgangs. There are some historical steakhouses in NYC but our family always prefers the Steaks and service from Wolfgangs.
We shared the porterhouse for 3 along with mushrooms, lobster mac and cheese and brussel sprouts.
Saved room for schlagg and chocolate mouse cake, and apple strudel. We will always be back.

The food was excellent. Presentation of food was visually pleasant. Unfortunately the service paled in comparison to their food. Waiters were curt somewhat dismissive.

Restaurant was annoyingly loud. Food was kind of mediocre and certainly rushed. Entrees came immediately after the appetizers, etc. Much better steak options in NYC

They sat us by the door so every time someone came in, we felt the cold blast from outside. However, the waiters were amazing and seriously attentive.

Despite the pandemic, the food was excellent, service was outstanding. It was great to be back and enjoy Wolfgang’s Steakhouse with family.

First time I went with my friend, Lamb chops were cooked to perfection and bread was warm, So I was able to ignore the dry as toast personality of the waiters. Based on the food experience, I made reservations and took my husband. I was completely embarrassed that I had bragged to him. They literally plopped a plate of very cold bread on the table. I asked them to warm it up and they did with no apology. We asked for well done lamb chops and they were over well done. Nothing like the first time.
The jumbo large shrimp cocktail were tasteless. Not sure what the deal is with that.
They obviously have the ability to get it right, but for the price tag, they should be getting it right all the time. We left them a generous tip, in consideration of the times we are in. We definitely will not be returning to this establishment.

I chose this location because it was walking distance from Aire Ancient Baths. The food was good. The restaurant looked a little bit worn. Our table cloth had black burn stains. Otherwise it was an ok night out.

Wolfgangs consistently delivers one of the country’s very best steaks served by a wonderful staff! Pandemic or not, they provided a very enjoyable evening.

Wolfgangs has adapted beautifully to the difficulties of outdoor dining and of course the food and service are still legendary.

Service very average. Not very friendly. Wanted us to order drinks apps and dinner at the same time. Who does that?

Horrible service. Saw our waiter a total of 3 times, including twice for the check. Other tables were getting plenty of service. Our waiter expected to take our drink order and food orders all at the same time when we just got there. Had our singular drink and steak and left. Will not return
