About Wolfgang's Steakhouse - Miami
With 4 decades of experience at Peter Luger's Steakhouse, Wolfgang Zwiener didn't duplicate an exceptional steakhouse, he improved on it to make Wolfgang's Steakhouse exceptional. The porterhouse steak for two, three, four or more, is an outstanding choice. The atmosphere, expanded menu & professional service will appeal to even the most exacting diners.

Wolfgang's Steakhouse - Miami Ratings and Reviews
We were seated right away, which was nice. We sat outside and the view was pretty. The food was great.
The service was very slow.
The bartender (older male) was horrible , rude, miserable, not friendly AT ALL!
The beer selection was TERRIBLE. Only 5 types of beer on tap. The tap beers were stale. There was NO light beer selection, for example, Coors Light or Michelob Ultra.
The atmosphere is nice and the place is busy. I had the lamb chops which were far too gristly and tough. My wife had the sea bass which was good. It looks like this is primarily a steak house. Great looking place but just mediocre on the food. The service was very friendly but I believe he had never tasted the food and just said everything was great. I know if he had, he would have steered me away from the lamb chops.
Fantastic good with mediocre service. We have dined at Wolfgang's numerous times and our visit on 2/13 had the outstanding food that we have always experienced but with very mediocre service. From the time we were greeted by the hostess through the time we paid the bill, the staff seemed distracted and disinterested. We'll assume that it was just a bad night (or the GM was off) and will definitely return for the truly outstanding food.
Lovely outdoor seating with wonderful downtown Miami water views. Waitstaff was courteous, professional and attentive. Food was excellent. We were able to split both the appetizer and salad. Aged steak was delicious and prepared as ordered. Expensive? If you have to ask, you cant afford it. But if you can afford it, will be worth the money. Had a great time and enjoyed our dinner experience.
I don't understand how any restaurant which advertises itself as a steakhouse can not make a good steak. Our filets and porterhouse, although priced as top quality meat, did not taste it. Plus the steaks were so bland, had absoluteky no seasoning. And even adding a sauce did not help. The seafood, sides, and desserts on the other hand were all very good. This restaurant looks great and is at a prime location, with beautiful scenery. They just need to hire a chef who knows how to cook steaks and this Wolfgangs would be a success.
Excellent. Once again. Food was outstanding. We shared the Porterhouse and one guest had the trout special. Wonderful. Very nice Caesar and the spinach and mushrooms were good additions. The California Zinfandel was smooth and went very well with the steak. Service is superb We will be back!
Celebrated our anniversary at Wolfgang’s knowing it is a great venue for special occasions. For those familiar with the infamous steak house Peter Luger’s in NYC, Wolfgang’s is one of a number of restaurants that have sought to duplicate their signature dishes and style. Based on recent visits to both, I am amazed that Wolfgang’s now not only has successfully matched Peter Luger’s quality, but may even exceed it.
When we made our reservation we requested seating on the balcony, which overlooks a lovely water view. Our waiter (wish I had gotten his name) provided excellent service. The food, as we’ve come to expect, was superb. A truly outstanding dining experience!
I would not recommend this restaurant. I usually review restaurants much better and this one got good reviews on some sites. However, the steak was tough and without flavor - not because of being overcooked. The sides left a lot to be desired. Service was OK, but for this level of service and this low quality food, we should have been paying for something. I love new places in new cities, but should have went to the typical Ruth's Chris / Mortons to get more of what we paid for. In all honesty, this was a low level chain steak house quality.
Wolfgang's core offerins are a clone of the world famous Peter Lugar's in Brooklyn, and every bit as wonderful. The difference is that Wolfie's is modern and beautiful. It's expensive, but very much worth it. Order the steak for two (20 oz porterhouse), tomato and onions, creamed spinach, German fried potatos AND the apple struedel dessert.
I had noted in my reservation that we were celebrating our anniversary and we were greeted at our table with 2 glasses of champagne and happy anniversary wishes. The staff was impeccable - genuine, knowledgeable, friendly and patient. I'll admit - it was very expensive, so be prepared for that. But it was delicious and worth it!
Table of 4 with my family. Waiter accidentally spilled coke on my son, apologized and laughed after he apologized and did not offer fresh napkins or did not appeared concerned that he spilled drink. We ordered two filet mignons and two NY Prime streaks . Filets mignons great and nicely seasoned - but streaks very tough, more fat than usually for even a Prime steak and almost no seasoning or flavor. Great location
The food was great! But the service was actually horrible. So many utensils were dropped by waiters literally one fell on my shoe(louboutin) and almost stabbed my foot.
The waiters forgot so much of my order and even spilled food on the table. Crazy food was good though
Location on the bay in Miami was outstanding, my wife and I enjoyed our wedding anniversary dinner on the outside balcony, scenery was great as was the weather.
We had the NY Strip Steak and the Seafood Possilipo both prepared and served to perfection.
You need to try the Canadian Bacon appetizer its amazing.
Now they only gripe I had is the attention to detail for a restaurant of this caliber and cost.
- My wife had ordered her Seafood Possilipo with the red sauce but was served with the white sauce.
- Server was very polite very helpful when available but unfortunately was so busy that water and wine classes went empty. (Note we arrived at 6pm before the busy time)
- One last item that again is only here due to the price point and projected caliber of the restaurant, is that the restroom had no toilet paper.
This restaurant is a gem. Located right on Biscayne Bay, it offers beautiful views for you to enjoy. The staff is very professional and friendly. The food is absolutely amazing! I would recommend the seafood platter for an appetizer and the grilled salmon for dinner. I will definitely visit this restaurant again!
Food was delicious. Porterhouse prepared perfectly and sides and Wolfgagng salad excellent. I just don't understand how they stay in business with virtually no one inside, just outside patio full. Service was a little too attentive, maybe because nothing else to do.
