Wolfgang's Steak House - Park Avenue
good service, fantastic food
Amazing as always. Every time we go the food and service is great. Highly recommended.
Incredible and delicious! Excellent everything !
Best steak I have ever had. Service was great as always. Will be back next time I'm in NYC.
The best creamed spinach I’ve ever had. They need to open a location in Chicago.
Way too loud inside. Steaks were ordered rare but came out black and blue. Quality of steak isn’t worth the price paid.
Wonderful steaks and a great Malbec from Argentina! Begin with a generous martini and couple with a wedge salad and creamed spinach. A recipe for pure satisfaction!
I visited Waikiki and Cheongdam-dong branch in Korea and became a fan of the Wolfgang. Thank you for always showing the best taste.
Great friends need great steaks!
This is great restaurant, the food is amazing and the service is great
Excellent food, service and definitely worth the money.
allways a great evening, excellent service, fantastic food,
noise level due to a great amount of customers a little to high to be cosy.
Still a man's haven. They put the women who are there without men in the back of the restaurant. There was no where farther away from the door we could have been and there werer plenty of open tables. We don't want the other guests to see that women can purchase their own T-Bone.
Really good place. Everything fits together. Definitely a recommendation.
Great steak - a must visit when in New York
Beautiful and historic location that have to try at least once. The steaks are good as is the service. The bartenders are classic professionals that make great drinks.
My favorite steak restaurant. Never fails to impress me. Always a pleasure eating there.
Food is great and the waiters are nice and warm
Too many people in a very small place, with a roof almost touching the head of the people.
Although the food was good.
Service was over the top! I read other reviews that complained but I had 3 waiters right there all evening. Filet Steak was fabulous, but gigantic so be warned! I could not finish and I don’t leave great steak behind! Martini had stuffed Blu cheese olives and was perfect along with wine. I’ll be back!
The Wolfgang Service Staff...was AMAZING! From the moment we walked in, being seated at our table immediately and being greeted by the most handsome and polite waiters! The food was phenomenal to say the least!
Overall my favorite Steak House in New York.
Great steak, great atmosphere, great staff.
never disappoints. Always a hit. best porterhouse in the city (the world?) hands down. took some youngsters (guys in their 20's who had never been) and they were appropriately floored.
Birthday celebration. Nice ambiance
Have been here numerous times and it’s consistently a wonderful meal.
I visited this restaurant together with my 16-year-old son, on our last evening in NYC. All in all, we had an excellent experience, as the steak we had (T-bone for two) was absolutely fantastic and my son was amazed with the general ambiance at the restaurant. There was only one small drawback in the service and that was the somewhat patronizing attitude of the waiter. I noticed it and so did my son. Other waiters around did not seem to have that attitude. Anyway, it did not spoil our general experience and I definitely recommend on going there.
This was our second time eating at Wolfgang’s
Even with so many choices in NYC, it’s not often we find a place we like as much as this.
The food is delicious and while the service can be just a tad slow, but when the food comes, it’s worth the wait.
God Daughters Graduation celebration
Very, very noisy place. Good food, good service. But annoying about the noise.
Fantastic Food Fantastic Service Fantastic Place!
The person who seated us seemed like if you don't look like your s*** don't stink, or are not someone influential, you're not welcome there. Thank God we were seated in the back room with the normal-looking people where we could hear each other, because we would not have been able to carry on a conversation in the front room due to the convention of Brooks Brothers models and their overweight fathers that seemed to have had booked the front room.
I believe our waiter was a Neanderthal who seemed competent at getting our order correct and served quickly and was able to speak about four words max. The 2"-thick steak for two was delicious, but not remarkable for what I was expecting. Fortunately, we didn't mind too much that it was served rare, considering our waiter probably only eats meat that way (we did, however, specify medium rare when we ordered). The side of mushrooms was pretty salty.
We didn't feel rushed which was nice and the lighting was nice and low and gave the feel like we were in a cave (I think this is the theme they are going for at the Gang of Wolves). It was also refreshing to have a waiter who doesn't talk to you or care if you're enjoying your meal until you're ready to leave.
Unless you need to be around a lot of testosterone, look like a Brooks Brothers model, the father of one, a relative of the current President, or are a starving archaeologist interested in seeing how waiters might have acted 250,000 years ago, you can easily do better. I did find a couple of plastic collar stays as I was leaving so I give Wolfgang's two overall stars. Great job!
Excellent service... waiters know their business.... food was fantastic... try the bacon appetizers
Service was awful - hostess was rude, the "sommelier" had no understanding of the wine list and shouted his recommendation before I could finish my question, and the waitstaff was gruff and unprofessional. I live in the city and frequent steakhouses - I think this is one of the least impressive. For better options, try: Quality Meats, Bowery Meat Company, or Benjamin.
If you want a Steak dinner it's here. Okurrrr
Very noisy and overcrowded
Put tables very close together
What a huge disappointment. We were looking forward to trying out an original Wolfgang's location on Park Avenue. We have been to Times Sq. location multiple times and always had an exceptional meal. Unfortunately Park Avenue didn't come even close to Time Sq in regards to taste, freshness and quality of food they serve. T-bone steak for two was hard. Filet mignon was served rare instead of medium rare as ordered and had no flavor. Chilean sea bass (my favorite dish at Time Sq, location) wasn't fresh and lack flavor. Creamed spinach was way too salty. For the steep price i paid for dinner for 5 this meal was a complete letdown.
30 min wait, even with reservation , too crowded , too loud ,
My son 21 birthday
