   We had a 9:30pm reservation on a Saturday. They sat us 15mins late and then told us they were closing the kitchen early and we had 5mins to order food. We barely had time to look at the menu. The waiters spilled wine on the table and food off our plates. It was a mess. And then they sat a table right next to us 45mins after they said the kitchen was closed and brought them out food. The staff clearly knew them so they were just being treated special while they were basically rushing us out the door. They even cleared everyone's plate while one of us was still eating so we all sat there watching him eat. The food was very good but the overall experience was horrible.

    First timer at Wolfgang's, went for a special celebration dinner. Dress code was very relaxed, I saw all the range of fashions from dressy clothes to gym shoes, so don't overthink if you are trying this place out. The food was fantastic. Started with the oysters, it was fresh and delicious. We almost ordered more, but once our steaks arrived, we realized we made the right choice because the steaks are enormous. I had the ribeye and while it was huge, it was worth every bite. I recommend that everyone tries the creamed spinach, never had anything like it - it was extremely tender and decadent. Chocolate mousse cake was also delicious. Can't go wrong with anything here. Service was good, all waiters were attentive and ready to take your order or get what you needed quickly, but it did add a frenetic, anxious energy to the room. Will definitely return when I'm in the area.

    Always go to this Wolfgang’s in park avenue, been to the others and not a patch on this one. Very very noisy as all the locals gather here after work. Just be prepared to shout

    The Filet was amazing, but my friend’s steak cut was a little grisly. Unfortunate, but it happens. Overall, the experience was fantastic and we’d definitely go back!

    Simple review here. Porterhouse for two best I’ve had in ten years. Perfection as was the wedge salad which they split in half for the two of us. The wine list is pricey but 75 dollar Ridge Zinfandel was well worth the cost everything here, repeat, everything here was perfection

    I was extremely disappointed with my experience. I took a client to Wolfgang’s and we were treated like second class citizens. They sat us right next to the corridor leading to the kitchen even though it was early/not prime time and there were many better open tables. Then the waiter largely neglected us, with food arriving at other tables before ours even though we explained we were trying to catch the Knicks game. And while the food not as bad as the service, the steak (porterhouse for 2) was very fatty. Will not be taking any clients back there.

    I love it at Wolfgang’s and try to eat there as much as possible. However, we were not seated for nearly an hour after our reservation at my last visit and it seemed like other patrons received preferred service. Will certainly be back again just hate that I had a bad experience as I truly love this restaurant.

    The noise level was horrible. We could not hold a conversation at the table. The table next to us was filled with loud obnoxious diners. It was not pleasant despite the good food and service. If the tables were further apart it would have helped.

    As always food and service were outstanding. First time sitting in the back of the restaurant, however, and felt very cramped. Took away from the whole experience and hopefully, if asked to sit there again, will not consent to that area of the restaurant.

    They were accommodating since we were late to our reservation time. It was super loud and packed. The steaks were delicious and loved the lobster Mac and cheese. Only thing I didn’t like it felt rushed since they are so busy.

    My daughter and I were looking forward to a nice steak house and I was fortunate to have booked Wolfgang early in advance since we were flying to New York that morning. We had a great experience! We were staying right next-door at the Hilton very convenient, but most important the quick response to the service staff. Walking in I had an asthma attack, and everyone jumped to assist me specifically Mike he was terrific, everyone was amazing and The food was amazing. Can’t wait to go back.

    We ordered some cocktails and they were very good. Our salads were excellent and then came the porterhouse for two. I ordered medium but was closer to rare. Being dry aged, it had that little smell that was a bit displeasing. The steak had very little flavor. The steak is huge and could feed 4. We have to many of Wolfgang’s steakhouses and have enjoyed the steaks, maybe last night was just a fluke.
