First class food and first class service. We arrived on time for our reservation and were immediately seated at an available location of our choice. The covered deck was very relaxing and casual. Menu pricing was very reasonable considering the quality and quantity of our meals. I can not say enough concerning the friendliness and courtesy of the entire staff. Debbie was very attentive and made us feel special and valued. A great evening.
While visiting family in Highlands, went to dinner at Wolfgang’s. The suggested wine based on what we were looking for was perfect! Dinner was great. The Frozen Peanut Butter Pie was the vast I’ve ever had. If I am in Highlands again, I’ll definitely eat here again!
Wolfgang’s is a favorite whenever we visit Highlands!
My birthday celebration. Wa enjoyed the attentive staff, great ambiance and a delicious dinner. My husband had venison and I had the short ribs. Would highly recommend this restaurant.
First time dining there and we enjoyed Wolfgang's a lot. Great outside service at the bar window - will sit there again. A definite "we'll be back"!
Two of us ordered the Bavarian sampler, which was very good. Two of us ordered the Wiener Schnitzel, which was over cooked. This was not up to Wolfgang’s usual standards. The creme brûlée was good but a small serving. A bit disappointing for the considerable money spent.
One of our favs in Highland. Prefer the Bistro menu to the downstairs dining room. But that’s just our personal preference
We had a terrific meal! Would highly recommend.
Always a favorite for family dinners. The entrees were amazing.
My husband and I both enjoyed our filets. Cooked perfectly and super tender. Definitely recommend.
Great food and atmosphere. The wine selection was great.
Great food and service. Are outside and it could not have been a better experience.
Overall it was fine. It took a little while for anyone to wait on us but when we did get a waitress she was good. I had the Mountain Trout and it was delicious. We ate in the back dining room which was find with me but my friend felt it was a little dark back there compared to the other rooms that were more open to the outside. I would go back but depending on who I was with I would request a certain dining room.
The food was amazing and service outstanding. Our favorite meal during our trip to the Highlands.
The atmosphere was great and the service was superb. The starters and the entrees were delicious! We can't wait to go back!
We always enjoy our dining experience at Wolfgang's! The food and service is always outstanding!
For the money, not worth a return visit. The ceiling fans were dirty, the hostess and staff were not very friendly. The food while "ok", certainly wasn't worth the price we paid - it didn't wow us enough to overlook the other inadequacies. It appears as though this restaurant has been around for a number of years, and the management/ownership has let down it's guard. I'm sure it could be great again - but it certainly wasn't when we visited.
Wolfgang’s is always an excellent experience. Terrific menu options, excellent service, reasonably priced. We come here every time we’re in Highlands, which has a lot of great restaurants.
Great overall dining experience. Great wine list. Sommelier very knowledgeable. Service great and accommodating chef. Highly recommended
Nice menu selection. My wife absolutely loved the lavender crusted salmon. Very attentive and courteous service the entire evening.
The service was very attentive and helpful. The chauteubrian was perfectly don and the accompanying crisped spinach and broiled vegetables and broiled tomatoes and sautéed onions were also perfectly done. It was a great meal. Definitely recommend it for any special guest or occasion.
Wolfgang’s is one of our favorite restaurants in Highlands. However we were very disappointed with the service this last visit. There were several errors made on the order and the bill was incorrect. Also the service was quite slow. We were there for two hours and we can normally get in and out within an hour
Always delicious, and an absolute must to anyone visiting the Highlands/Cashiers area!
We had a wonderful dinner The menu was full and had something for each of us to enjoy. The Lobster Bisque was lackluster. I wish I would
Have chosen the French onion soup. The lamb although description was a bit off was beautiful my guest was thankful it had the chop. Which by the description wasn’t mentioned. My mother and I shared the Châteaubriand which cam cooked perfectly the presentation was fun. Your cocktail were scrumptious
Food overrated. I ordered pork chop and it was a bit dry with a sauce that did not pair well with it. French onion soup was delicious!
My husband had shortrib which was very tender, but sides not very hot, temp wise.
I would try again if in the area.
The restaurant has a few different dining areas all with a different feel. It does not seem cohesive. Food is OK, not worth all the hype.
All of our dinner was delightful. Wolfgang's bringing together of classic European recipes while using the traditions of the south was terrific. Likewise, the extensive wine selections and excellent and timely service were both a "10". While our late call for a FR reservation only made 5:30 a choice to dine--we were not rushed. We will return!
High quality food that was perfectly prepared. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. They do a great job of accommodating gluten-free needs.
Always a great meal at Wolfgang. Reputation is well deserved. Excellent wine list, attentive service and wonderful varied menus selections
Reservations a MUST
Every dish we ordered was outstanding!
Beautiful atmosphere, service and meal! Our dinners were excellently prepared and so good! Fabulous wine list! We will definitely be back!
The veal medallions and the Wiener schnitzel were fabulous as always. This is our favorite restaurant in Highlands.
Best place in highlands
Fantastic meal, good service! The mountain trout was delicious as was the filet and the Wiener schnitzel. Wonderful atmosphere where you can talk comfortably.
If you like eating outside, the back deck is an awesome spot and also the front patio. Inside is dusky and old feeling, but cozy. Ordered the bisque, very tasty, but could have been thicker. Crab cake was full of meat, but dry to my liking. The shrimp were too crunchy and seemed overdone. My husband got the trout, pretty bland. For the money, I expected a little more delicacy. Maybe their steaks are good!? We didn't order because they were pretty pricey. I would return to sit out on the back deck for a cocktail, though!
We did have reservations and they were ready for us when we walked in the door. Our waitress provided excellent service. The food was delicious. There were four of us and we all felt our dinners to be excellent. This restaurant has been in a Highlands, N.C. for many years. I highly recommend it!
Fantastic from bar service to dining room service. Attentive wait staff, top rate dishes, excellent wine list & loads of fun.
Delicious dining in the Highlands ! Yum!
A go to restaurant in Highlands. The crayfish dish is excellent and they will serve it with varying degrees of spice. Nice wine list.
