Good and service absolutely fabulous!!!!!
We have been to Wolfgang's on numerous occasions and we have never been disappointed. Chef knows how to prepare dinners using many unique seasonings for unmatched flavors. Service is excellent and server very knowledgeable. This is our go to restaurant for special occasions.
Every time we get up to Sky Valley, we make a side trip to Highlands to dine at Wolfgang's. It's one of our favorites and has never disappointed us.
Everything was wonderful.
Food choices were varied and creative. Our choices were very good. The collard greens were special. Service was attentive. The dining room decor is dated. We will be back!
We were celebrating our daughter and fiancés engagement. Excellent overall experience.
Wolfgang’s is my favorite restaurant. We make the drive from Georgia every year (and a few times in between) for my birthday with my whole family. Highly recommend! Never disappoints.
Most consistent in highlands, n.c. Never had a bad meal.
Very nice restaurant on the Main Street in Highlands. Food and service were above average although the atmosphere left a little to be desired since we were on the back patio with plastic draping. The food was good and the prices were reasonable for a high end restaurant.
10 the anniversary everything Perfect comp desert and champagne
Excellent as always. Our go to restaurant whenever we are in Highlands. The strudel is mist authentic
The food, service and atmosphere couldn't have been better. Not inexpensive but well worth it. Definitely going back.
Great food and service
Amazing food! Wonderful atmosphere for our 15th Wedding Anniversary. We truly enjoyed the experience while we were there. We would for sure visit once again. Service was good but not great.
Finally, a restaurant worthy of praise on all counts. We had an early reservation because a later time slot was not available, so it was quiet. Service was absolutely impeccable. A woman came by to greet us and see if we wanted something from the bar. Our waiter stopped by, introduced himself, fully aware of what was underway, what the specials were and that it was my birthday. The menu is so diverse, it was difficult to decide what to order. The pricing is beautifully moderate, making ordering a relaxing, indulgent experience. I had a field greens salad with citrus and the veal with crawfish. The citrus was just the right balance for the sharp flavor of the dressing, and the veal was butter tender and topped with a generous servicing of perfect crawfish. My husband had lobster bisque and Viener Schnitzel. Both were excellent. We shared a crème brulee and coffee for desert. While we were there, the chef owner walked through the dining room several times to chat with diners, and seemed to know most of them. It was a rare experience in todays world of chain restaurants and celebrity chefs who open a place with the idea of making a quick fortune and then opening a second location. It was honestly the best American restaurant I've been to in quite some time. Thanks Wolfgang!
Casey our waitress was awesome as usual!!! Great food and service. Love the whole experience.
Ivan was our server. He was polite and professional. Always attentive.
I must say the young man serving water (and many other tasks) was awesome. He was never at a standstill. Always helping and going full speed. Wished I could have gotten his name. (Red hair)
We always love Wolfgang’s!! Staff is excellent!
Our meal and experience at Wolfgang's was wonderful as expected. We always enjoy this treat when visiting Highlands.
The food had very little taste; yet expensive.
Great food .. affordable ... good service... love to come back year after year...
They need to decide on the dress code.. we wore jackets as it requested business casual.. many folks on their on ratty Bermuda’s and jeans...regardless we will be back next year
One of the best restaurants in Highlands, NC. always a treat. Be sure to make a reservation.
Requested another table they were extremely accommodating. The meal was excellent, my husband requested different accompaniments to his meal they brought two.
Dessert was complimentary as it was our anniversary, they put a sparkler on the chocolate mouse which was excellent!
This is always one of our favorites, tonight was no exception!!
We had requested the Bistro. Were not told that was not a choice. We were seated in the Main Dining room which is dark and somewhat dreary. We were not told you could not reserve a table in the Bistro.
Had a very enjoyable dinner with my wife to celebrate our 34 anniversary. I had the special lavender encrusted salmon and my wife had the crab cake and pecan encrusted shrimp with Asiago grits. This was probably one of the best meals that I have ever had. Everything was cooked perfect and full of flavor. Service was good and attentive to our needs.
First time to the restaurant. We loved everything about it:)
Service horrible. Others coming in after us, served way before us. Not good or enjoyable. They offered us free dessert...wow.
I had mentioned when I made the reservation that it was our 48 th wedding anniversary , no mention of it at all while we dined there , a little disappointing . We chose this restaurant over Madison’s , which recognize’s special occasions .
Seemed a bit rushed overall. Food was mediocre. We eat hear every time while visiting Highlands but may skip this one on our next visit.
Sarah was extraordinarily anticipatory and helpful. Dishes turned out rapidly despite full house!
The trout was the best that we ever had!
We had a most enjoyable and delectable dinner at the restaurant. No question that we will be returning very soon.
Excellent meal and service. Wine list is extensive and staff is very knowledgeable. Would definitely return!
The bar area was excellent as we waited on the table. Service was very good. The 8pm reservation made for a less crowded dining room and quieter setting.
Schnitzel and salad were excellent. The Bavarian sampler was superb. Next time I will ask for more of the German potato salad.
Chocolate mouse and peanut butter pie topped off a great dining experience. We will be back.
Lovely evening in main dining room. We ate light but it was good.
Everything was splendid
We sat outside, which was very pretty. Both my husband's entrée (short ribs) and mine (shrimp with crab cake with grits) were very good.
