Wolfgang Puck's Spago offers panoramic ocean views from the bar and restaurant serving California cuisine with Pacific Rim influences and local Hawaiian flavors. The Mobil Four Star restaurant opened at the Four Seasons Resort Maui in 2001, teaming America’s greatest chef with the world’s finest hotel group. The Asian-inspired, contemporary designed room is sophisticated, yet relaxed, with carefully selected furnishings that provide both family comfort and romantic evenings both indoors or on the exterior lanai. All of this creates the perfect stage for Chef Cameron Lewark’s brilliant menu, using Hawaii’s premier produce, fish and meats, with the styling that made Spago famous. Utilizing only the finest ingredients available from the Hawaiian Islands, the menu presents a fusion of Hawaiian and California cuisine, embracing the tradition of the Islands culinary techniques. This inspired menu offers Wolfgang Puck's classics as well as many locally inspired dishes.

Amazing ocean view. Excellent service and food. This is one of must go restaurants every time we are here in Maui.

Wonderful dinner outside on the patio at sunset. Amazing appetizers like the Poke comes and butterfish. We especially liked the Onaga and Swordfish entrees. Service was very attentive and wine was excellent. Little pricey but worth it for a great meal

Onaga, Hawaiian Snapper, steamed in leaves was the special fish of the day. I asked for it to be sauteed and the waiter suggested a preperation on the menu for Swordfish. It was incredible. The fish was perfectly prepared, moist on the inside with crispy skin. I eat Hawaiian fish often - and for years - this was the best by far. Even outdid my favorite Opokapaka. My wife had Mahi Mahi, which was quite good - but we both agreed the Onago was superior. We had a drink at the bar first and the bartender made me a special drink from a recipe I had on my phone. Very accomodating and it was perfect. We were full, but forced ourselves to enjoy a very good Chocolate Soufle for desert. All in all - a wonderful evening.

Perfect place to celebrate my birthday yet again. Always my first choice and never disappoints. The roasted mahi mahi was wonderful and the sesame poke cones are my favorite appetizer. Hope they stay on the menu forever.

The food was very good and the Japanese beef excellent. The service was good and would be excellent if a bit more attention was paid to the individual diners at each table.
The view was beautiful and the overall experience very good.

My husband and I went to celebrate a special occasion. The service was excellent--everyone knew why we were there and were super accomodating and friendly. The crab cakes and cheesecake were wonderful. The entrées were okay, I wouldn't order them again. We had a very nice view of the sunset and even though it was busy, we didn't feel cramped and had our own little corner.

Great wines great food, service could be better. Forgot our one appetizer and their jasmine rice came in as plain sticky rice. Rather than that great experience

Service was Terible. We’ve eaten here several tunes but this night was a disaster. 15 minutes after sitting for water and 35 minutes before getting a glass of wine! Manager was apologetic, offered my first glass of wine free, poured me 2 ounces and I paid $27 for both that pour and my second glass. Excuse - they were busy - was bull! Ever again!

Very disappointing. Food was good, but not outstanding. Hostess and waiters had an attitude. Wine list was ridiculously overpriced for less-than-average wines. There are much better options on Maui.

Spago has always been a great restaurant and our dinner 2 nights ago was well worth the drive from Kaanapali. Service is as good as you will find. The roasted tomato soup never changes and that is a good thing.

Spago=Outstanding. We dined up and down the Wailea Resort Hotel 'strip' during our stay. Our meal at Spago was by far the finest, and would easily give it 2 more stars than any other restaurant we tried. 1. They really know how to make and serve cocktails. 2. They really know how to cook their fish. Not only is it absolutely fresh, but it is cooked to a temperature where it can really be enjoyed. Contrasted with two of the other 'high end' hotel restaurants where the fish was overcooked and dried out. The dishes were very nicely spiced--in a manner that really allowed us to taste the individual ingredients. 3. They really know how to take good care of their guests. Service was outstanding, and we were not rushed. Will return for sure on our next trip to Maui.

Food and service were outstanding. Overpriced, perhaps, but it is a fine dining experience in a beautiful environment, so clearly that comes with a price tag. Multiple visits on your trip to Maui is probably not cost effective for most, including me. But a one-time, splurge for dinner visit will not disappoint.

The environment was very beautiful. The food from starters throughout the desserts were all amazing. I had lamb chops and they were one of the best I have tasted. I definitely will return. Our waiter was awesome, friendly and professional all at the same time.

This Spagos location in the Four Seasons Hotel located on the gorgeous west Maui coast line couldn't have a more naturally beautiful setting. The whales put on a show for us on the evening we visited. Not to be out shown by nature, the kitchen surpassed our expectations with the delicious, creative and locally sourced fish entrees. Go hungry, and start with the poke fish cones as a starter. You won't be disappointed.

The food was very below average and disappointing. I friend and I had the pokey and they came out like little ice cream con tacos and they were horrible. One of our guest had the chicken meal and it tasted like it could’ve been from sizzler
The service is truly bizarre with waiters that would probably smoking something in the back
I’m dying to find restaurants all over the world and know what standard to hold the four seasons two and this was a terrible disappointment. I hope they can change it but I doubt it

This was the absolute worst meal I have ever had at a restaurant. My pork chop was so dry it was inedible. My husband and son splurged for steaks at $62 each, they were thin pieces of over cooked meat, total joke. The restaurant itself is beautiful, just go for an overpriced drink. I wish I would have taken a picture of our food.
