About Wolfgang Puck's Spago in the Four Seasons Resort Maui
Wolfgang Puck's Spago offers panoramic ocean views from the bar and restaurant serving California cuisine with Pacific Rim influences and local Hawaiian flavors. The Mobil Four Star restaurant opened at the Four Seasons Resort Maui in 2001, teaming America’s greatest chef with the world’s finest hotel group. The Asian-inspired, contemporary designed room is sophisticated, yet relaxed, with carefully selected furnishings that provide both family comfort and romantic evenings both indoors or on the exterior lanai. All of this creates the perfect stage for Chef Cameron Lewark’s brilliant menu, using Hawaii’s premier produce, fish and meats, with the styling that made Spago famous. Wolfgang Puck's Spago in the Four Seasons Resort Maui Ratings and Reviews
My husband and I went to celebrate a special occasion. The service was excellent--everyone knew why we were there and were super accomodating and friendly. The crab cakes and cheesecake were wonderful. The entrées were okay, I wouldn't order them again. We had a very nice view of the sunset and even though it was busy, we didn't feel cramped and had our own little corner.
Service was Terible. We’ve eaten here several tunes but this night was a disaster. 15 minutes after sitting for water and 35 minutes before getting a glass of wine! Manager was apologetic, offered my first glass of wine free, poured me 2 ounces and I paid $27 for both that pour and my second glass. Excuse - they were busy - was bull! Ever again!
This was a date night with my husband and I was really excited! I was not disappointed.... we had great recommendations from our waiter who was very passionate about service. We sat outside to watch the sunset and loved our evperience. Definitely will return😁
Spago=Outstanding. We dined up and down the Wailea Resort Hotel 'strip' during our stay. Our meal at Spago was by far the finest, and would easily give it 2 more stars than any other restaurant we tried. 1. They really know how to make and serve cocktails. 2. They really know how to cook their fish. Not only is it absolutely fresh, but it is cooked to a temperature where it can really be enjoyed. Contrasted with two of the other 'high end' hotel restaurants where the fish was overcooked and dried out. The dishes were very nicely spiced--in a manner that really allowed us to taste the individual ingredients. 3. They really know how to take good care of their guests. Service was outstanding, and we were not rushed. Will return for sure on our next trip to Maui.
Food and service were outstanding. Overpriced, perhaps, but it is a fine dining experience in a beautiful environment, so clearly that comes with a price tag. Multiple visits on your trip to Maui is probably not cost effective for most, including me. But a one-time, splurge for dinner visit will not disappoint.
The environment was very beautiful. The food from starters throughout the desserts were all amazing. I had lamb chops and they were one of the best I have tasted. I definitely will return. Our waiter was awesome, friendly and professional all at the same time.
This Spagos location in the Four Seasons Hotel located on the gorgeous west Maui coast line couldn't have a more naturally beautiful setting. The whales put on a show for us on the evening we visited. Not to be out shown by nature, the kitchen surpassed our expectations with the delicious, creative and locally sourced fish entrees. Go hungry, and start with the poke fish cones as a starter. You won't be disappointed.
The food was very below average and disappointing. I friend and I had the pokey and they came out like little ice cream con tacos and they were horrible. One of our guest had the chicken meal and it tasted like it could’ve been from sizzler
The service is truly bizarre with waiters that would probably smoking something in the back
I’m dying to find restaurants all over the world and know what standard to hold the four seasons two and this was a terrible disappointment. I hope they can change it but I doubt it
This was the absolute worst meal I have ever had at a restaurant. My pork chop was so dry it was inedible. My husband and son splurged for steaks at $62 each, they were thin pieces of over cooked meat, total joke. The restaurant itself is beautiful, just go for an overpriced drink. I wish I would have taken a picture of our food.
Exceptional as always. Vacation here every two years and Spago never disappoints. Delayed on drive over by 2 car accidents and Daniel was kind enough to push our reservation back by 15 minutes. Weston was our server - took all his recommendations from drinks to wine to food - all outstanding. A true pleasure in a beautiful setting.
The food was delicious and perfectly presented. We had our favourite Thai-style fish dish and two seafood appetizers that we had yet to try with a gorgeous local salad. All in all, a perfect dinner. The staff are also amazing with their suggestions and courteous service.
From the moment we entered the restaurant we were looked after like King’s. Our table was the best in the house as requested through the app.
Our server (Jeb) was fantastic and very well versed in their menu and all things gastronomic.
We completely enjoyed our experience, so many thanks!
Often come here over the years. This time was very sad. No enthusiasm by staff, drinks (included our favorite Pandoras Box) poorly made, beet salad with only 2 pieces of beet, chicken dish with dry chicken, Mac fish was nice small piece of fish sitting in a pool of sauce with no garnish, etc. What has happened? They need a visit from Wolfgang to shape them up!
Three of our party of four had the special fish. It was overwhelmed by ginger. You could not taste the “delicate” fish. One server asked how our first bites where and we simultaneously replied as much. She said she would tell the cook. Never heard another word. I have eaten at Spago for many years and watched it go down hill much as their Palo Alto venue descended into oblivion a dozen years ago.
