Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill Ratings and Reviews
My husband and I enjoyed an early 5:00 dinner here on a busy Monday in Vegas. We started with the crab cakes (lots of meat, nice accompaniments), crusty bread and butter, and their creamy caramelized onion soup. We were just going to share our portion but the waiter brought it in two portions, with lovely garnish and appearance. It's very rich, very tasty.
Then, my husband ordered the skirt steak - perfectly cooked, with french fries. I had the special of the day, Braised Short Rib with creamy cheese grits and Brussels sprouts. Fantastic, fork tender, great taste, great side dishes. NO bitterness to the sprouts. Then, overfull, we also stuffed down a decadent chocolate souffle, and we're not even chocolate lovers. Just yummy. Waiter was attentive but not invasive, gave nice selections and personal opinions. Would go again.
What a FANTASTIC experience! From start to finish our server could not have been more on top of all of our requests, the service was just impeccable! My husband and I split a Caesar salad before our meal and there was a hair on my half, which happens... not a deal breaker. They happily brought me another. It was delicious and my tuna tartar was mouth watering, so flavorful and tasty! They ended up taking the salad AND my meal off of our bill, so unexpected and very nice. I can’t wait for our next trip to Vegas so we can return!
Server was friendly and the food came out fast. Had some doubts about a big name chef restaurant in a casino as they never seem to live up to the hype. I had the sausage pizza was was good. Can't say I was blown away by it but it was good. The hype of a Wolfgang Puck pizza turned out to be a bit overblown. The sausage on the pizza was good but a little sparse. The flavor from the pizza was more about the white sauce and the peppers than the sausage so calling it a "sausage pizza" was a bit misleading. The food was tasty but I have certainly had better pizza.
The food we had was acceptable. The dessert was very good. The biggest problem we had with the meal was the speed of the service. We were with friends celebrating a special occasion and we really felt like we were rushed through meal. Our main course was brought while we were still having appetizers. And we asked the server to take the meals back twice and finally one diner said just go ahead and set it down I'll eat it when I'm ready. we picked this restaurants because of the Wolfgang Puck name expecting high in food and high-end service. We did not feel like that's what we received. Disappointing.
Excellent quality food. Portions are well sized, they will even split one dinner for two people. Service was exceptional! You won’t leave this place hungry and will be satisfied.
Visited this same restaurant about six years ago loved it then and love it now.
What a disappointment! The service as painfully SLOW. The food was mediocre. I mean how do you ruin a pizza?! ...even more disappointing was the "Caesar" salad. Who puts tomatoes on? Why not cut the lettuce? ...while you are at it, make sure the lettuce is FRESH.
I reserved this spot for 6 people - celebrating my 30th birthday. The food was good, but I wish I would have taken into account the negative reviews about the service some folks had left. Our server (don't know his name) scattered menus across the table, randomly checked in and would walk away while I wanted to order a drink - he was very distracted. My friend let him know we were here to celebrate a special day (he checked My ID and didn't even notice?) and he had no reaction to it. Several other details, but overall the food was good but not worth the service. I enjoyed this place about 4 years ago on my birthday and this time was a let down. I don't plan to return.
We’ve dined here several times. I miss the duck bratwurst, which was utterly delicious. However, the chicken skewers were very good. My husband almost always has the spaghetti and meatballs. One of his favorites. The meatballs are excellent. I was slightly disappointed in the brussel sprouts. They weren’t crisp enough although the flavor was very good. The ice cream was a wonderful way to end our dinner. Service was excellent. Welcoming, made nice recommendations and was aware of our needs without hovering obsessively.
Great food at Wolfgang Puck! We sat at the bar, as the table we were originally seated at was next to a large group of young men who were getting their party on. The bartender served us with a smile. We had crabcakes and truffle chips for starters - the order of chips was too large to ensure the truffle oil would stay warm while eating- we ended up only having a few chips. The crabcakes were delicious! We also had a chicken pesto pizza which was flavorful and plentiful- had to take a box to-go. All in all, we had a lovely time celebrating our anniversary weekend at Wolfgang Puck!
Salads that we ordered were very good. The calamari was over cooked and the actual calamari were too small to be cooked properly. Find another supplier or have the product inspected before cooking. Also, for the prices, there are many better options in Vegas.
I was expecting this to be more high end than it turned out to be. The music was 80 and 90s rock and there wasn't nice linens on the table...it was just "okay" looking. We ordered half salads before our main which I will say were amazing in both presentation and taste. I personally ordered a prosciutto pizza and it was absolutely horrible. The prosciutto comes uncooked on the pizza and it was fatty and extremely salty and impossible to cut through even after requesting a steak knife. I will give the restaurant credit with one thing and that was our server. She was excellent! She came over and said she could see I wasn't happy and she took my plate of food and told me to order something different. I really appreciated that because I never would have complained or said anything. I ordered their margarita pizza which was way better but still not fabulous. My cousin ordered the salmon which she said was delicious and I should have just ordered the steak (like I always do) as I'm sure it would have been really good too. I think this could be a great restaurant with a few minor tweaks like nice linens and better music. There is a certain expectation ( for me anyway) when I hear the name Wolfgang Puck.
Very good food along with professional and courteous service. Good value for the quality. My wife enjoyed the spaghetti and meatballs, while I enjoyed the double Cut Pork Chop. My chop was cooked perfectly. Daren our server was courteous and attentive. We both enjoyed the English Toffee Beignets for dessert. This was our second time dinning here and we would come back on our next visit to Vegas. We recommend it.
