The staff was exceptionally friendly and the food was good. Because of a local concert the staff expected s larger crowd so therefore was attentive. Next t I’ve wee visit LA Live we will certainly stop in.
Service not very good. Forgot a side. We were advised if we ordered Chicken it would take longer so asked for other meals to come first. Chicken took 45 mins post other meals being served. Such a shame about the service as the chicken was the best I’d ever had.
Go to Wolfgang Pucks here @ LA Live often and it’s amazing. A bit pricey but the food is AMAZING and the staff is excellent and it’s a nice little spot on the LA Live walk
Great location next to Staples Center. Food and ambiance are both terrific. Great service too. Very comfortable seating.
It was my first time at the restaurant and the food was great and the drinks were really good. It was my husbands birthday and we were going to the Microsoft Theater so it worked out perfect. The service was great and the staff was very friendly. I will surely return because there were other items on the menu I would love to try. I had a great view of LA Live and enjoyed people watching and even caught a glimpse of a celebrity or two.
Excellent! Food was delicious & service was terrific!
Ate a light dinner here. Decided to sit outside because it was very noisy inside the building. Located in the lively LA Live area so lots of people to watch. There was a heater over our table so we were quite comfortable. We ordered salad and pizza. Both were fresh and very tasty. I brought the extra pizza back to the hotel room and it was even good cold the next morning :).
Overall I liked this restaurant and would return.
Food was great, but service is terrible.
The location is conveniently located across from the Staple Center, and the food was amazing. Service could have been better, we had to constantly wave down a server to either pick up the plates or get a re-fill. It was a busy Wednesday night, but with everyone working, I felt it could’ve been better.
Was there with customers on Sunday night. Our server was very nice but think she had too many tables as she just couldn’t get back to us even for small things like extra fork or knife. We added one more guest and she helped us seat him but everything after that took too long.
Overall my guest and I enjoyed the food but it was a bit more expensive then I feel it was worth.
That said it’s in a good location so I’ll come back next time in the area.
I highly recommend that you pass on this restaurant. The poor rating on yelp are definitely true. Poor service on the front of house. Long wait for things as simple as water. Will not be returning
The restaurant did a great job on every level. Getting there through LA downtown traffic is terrible though.
Food was incredible, I highly recommend the wings, they are awesome.
Great location near event.
Good food but small portions.
I will return.
Server was poor; offered soup they did not have. Had to ask for fresh ground pepper. Needed to ask for spoons. Grilled vegetables were left out of the salad. We used to have good experiences here, but sadly, no longer.
We were party of 4 dining before LA Kings game. Service was adequate, but took longer than expected for food to be served and to get check. Beer selection limited. Drinks a on pricey side, even for LA live area. Caesar salad was VERY bad. Non-green iceberg lettuce overloaded with dressing. A few anchovies thrown in to drown. Margherita pizza was decent. In summary, we won't be back, with other better options short walk away.
Food is the best.... Wings are incredible!
Great location right next to Staples center. Good creative menu. Service was a little slower this time
What a delight! First time at this restaurant and it was not only DELICIOUS from start to finish, but the service was 10000000% amazing! Thank you so much - we'll be back!
The food was great. For whatever reason the food was delayed, but the manager gave us a free glass of wine and halved the bill, which was very good of them. The waitress was very attentive and apologetic.
Great service by Rachel. She also picked a perfect wine. Roasted chicken never disappoints.
Awesome restaurant, great atmosphere, LA live is a great venue. The drinks are a tad expensive..
Came here before a Laker game. Not my favorite WP restaurant. Too noisy to really enjoy the meal. Sorry I don't think I'll come here again.
Shockingly bad, tasteless, overpriced and completely unworthy of WPs name. Fried chicken sliders were dry, the hummus (served with canned martini olives) was horrible (and $26) and the Tortilla Soup was so spicy my wife had to run to the bathroom.
I’m sending my full review to WP’s exec offices. Management should be ashamed.
The food was wonderful but the best part was they did not charge an outrageous corkage fee for outside wine
I went here before and the experience was great. Unfortunately when I went there for dinner to celebrate my daughter’s birthday, well, that was another story.
We had a reservation, they were not prepared. Ok my reservation I requested patio seating, the hostess said “no one told me about it”; it took ONE HOUR for us to finally get a service. Of course by then we requested another sever. Food was average, nothing special like the last time we were there. I believe the manager came over to talk to us because we were upset about the situation, I said “I believe “ because no one has a name tag, so go figure.
Overall, horrible service, average food, terrible experience. We could have pick any other place to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and we choose this one. They mess up her 15th birthday. ☹️☹️
Steak was excellent!! Food was very good. Service could have been better.
Salmon burger was disgusting
We were unsure at first as the inside was noisy and we wanted to "catch up" with each other. We sat on the patio/outside deck and it was perfect. The temperature was nice. We had a fantastic wait person who was very knowledgeable about the menu and was efficient/kind/nice.
I realize that LA Live is a mad house when there are multiple events near Staples. Review is for dinner prior to a Kings game on a Saturday night.
Food - food is a mixed bag here. The sandwiches & salads are pretty good / portion sizes fair for the prices charged. The pizza my daughter had was lukewarm, Pasta I had was a very small portion size for $23.
Service - horrific. Getting my iced tea refilled required an act of God.
Value - just know you are paying "convenience" pricing at any of the restaurants at LA Live. You can be at Staples in 2 minutes, but you pay and arm and a leg for food. At least this place is more affordable than Katsuya (which is a total rip-off).
Went for lunch. Waiter stopped by only 2x in 45 minutes. Had to leave for an appointment - no food! Tracked down a manager to tell them, and to ask for the bill for my iced tea. She apologized...not a good experience.
Always had great food here but the new menu wasn’t up to previous standards. Nice location. Service was good as usual
Between the inside and outside noise, our experience was really negatively impacted. We could not hear one another speak.
The chicken wings are Fantastic. Mushroom pizza was great too. It was very busy so I'm glad we made a reservation. Typical big LA prices.
Food was no good, hamburger over cooked, Cesar Salad was no good.....
Our group of 6 had a great time. We didn’t feel rushed, but the timing of the meal was at an appropriate pace. The food was great too.
Unfortunately our server was not engaged in our table. We received our food before we got our drinks. The table next to us arrived after us and had an app drink and meal before we even ordered. One guest he forgot a drink. Then it came the wrong flavor. Waited more Another guest the cheese was left off the burger. Other than that, delicious food.
Great mac & cheese. Quick service with plenty of time to make your game at Staples!
The food was good and reasonably priced. The location at L.A. Live across from the Staplws Center and the Microsoft Theatre is unbeatable. But don't expect a high gourmet experience because of the Puck name. The menu is interesting and appeals to lots of palettes. I took my 12-yr old daughter there. We were both happy.
