We had a great time for a Birthday dinner
Can’t wait til the next opportunity
Emily was our server . She was exceptional .
We had a variable number of people joining the table and she handled it with ease !
Nice dinner with parents
I went with a friend, w had the pizza and brussel sprouts. They were both very tasty. I have been before and enjoyed my meals before as well. Would definitely recommend but make a reservation so as you're not disappointed.
I would have rated higher if it wasn't so pricey. I don't mind paying good money for good food. But the pasta my wife got was lacking. Flavor was mediocre. Add to that the fact to add shrimp to the pasta plate is $13. It's not worth it. The Burger was good. I enjoyed that. But they need to rethink their prices for some of their entrees or just add more flavor.
We felt the alcoholic drinks were short-poured. A $15 Martini should reach the rim. Chicken parm was average but burgers were good. Service was very good.
Checking in at the desk at 11:25am for an 11:30 reservation, we were promptly seated. It was Saturday before the L.A. Kings hockey game. The restaurant was crowded but not full. Water came to the table immediately. After about five minutes we were to order. We waited ten minutes for the waiter to show up. We ordered three Chinois Salads, one Margherita Pizza, one bowl of Tortilla Soup and one Coke. Thirty-five minutes later the Coke came. Twenty minutes after that the salads cane to the table and a few minutes later the pizza showed up. One hour after sitting down. I had to remind the waiter about the missing soup, which came to the table only lukewarm. Not going back.
Late lunch - $100.00
Drinks - Water, Coke, No alcohol
Better Service - Priceless
As with most things these days, "they don't make Chinois Salads like they used to" - I'm going back to Chinois On Main.
great food and great sports bar. Service was just OK.
Loved it!! The food and service was outstanding We will be back
Took over 45 minutes for our basic food to come out. We were late to the hockey game due to the slow service. When we complained to management they were rude and disrespectful.
I called ahead to advise we were celebrating a birthday at our table and the girl said she would note it. I reminded them again when I got there, she said it was noted. We ordered soup and a chicken entree and it took over 40 minutes to get our dinner, our server kept coming over and apologizing to us. Once we got our dinner it was good. He came back when we were done and gave us our check by putting it on the table and walking away. We then waited over 10 minutes and asked someone to get him for us. he came back and we asked to see a dessert menu, he apologized and brought us one. We ate dessert, again took a while, paid and left. Never once was the birthday acknowledged....I was disappointed in the dinner as a whole.
We hosted a team dinner here this week and I found the food and service to be very good. The Hong Kong salmon was outstanding!
We eat here a lot and this was the worst experience we've ever had. The service was non-existent, extremely slow and hard to even find someone to help us. The food came out slow and cold. Very disappointing.
As usual, great food as you would expect from a Wolfgang Puck restaurant. This place was not too pricey, lots of casual options on the menu like burgers & pizzas ( great pizzas). Just not as speedy as we had hoped. The restaurant was not full, yet it took a very long time for our food to be done and we were late for our concert. If you are coming before a show or a game, make sure to allow an hour and a half at least.
The food and service has greatly improved over the last year. Unfortunately the acoustics are horrible so conversation is nearly impossible.
We made an advance reservation fir 7:45pm and we were on time and sat on time. We told the manager, hosted and out waiter that we are attaendin a concert at 9pm and they they all were ok with the timing. The appetizer cane in after 20 min of seating and then it took over an hour to bring our meals and we missed first 39 min of the concerts that we were attalending at 9PM
Portions too small for the money being asked. And the flavor just okay again for price, not worth it. Fish and chips just okay. Fish pieces very small. So was the beet salad for the price they are asking for. Took a long time for a beverage. Had a sangria, was poured as half a wine glass versus a full glass as I get at every other high end restaurant I have been too.
Ordered the pasta in mushroom sauce with grilled chicken
Firstly brought plain pasta no sauce
Had to wait 20 min while my colleague ate his meal
Then came back with pasta and the chicken was dry and tasteless - think the chicken bits you get in Campbell’s canned check noodle soup.
Had to get check to get to game - took 20 min
Our server Candace was very nice obviously they were understaffed - the food was horrible
Our experience on Saturday evening at 6:15 was mixed.
The food was great, but the service was less than desired.
The server did not come by our table often enough.
There was an event, so this may have been the issue, however, I believe they should plan for these things. We arrived 1 hr. 45 min before our event and could not have dessert due to time. Our food arrived 45- 50 min. after we ordered it.
Very disappointed in the restaurant. Noise level was way over the top. Food was disappointing and we had the worst food in the LA Live area. The chicken salad was all cut up in pieces and there was no chicken in site. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
My boyfriend loves this place and it’s right next to the Staples Center. It works for us
Terrible service and very, very loud. Our drinks arrived after our food was served and we never saw a waiter again. The restaurant knows they have automatic business because of the location at LA Live, so they dont care about quality or service.
Best Burger in LA; onion rings to die for; exceptional quality overall
Eiat here before a Kings game. My daughters Chinese chicken salad was very good as usual. However I ordered a turkey burger and discovered it was not fully cooked. the meat was still pink. I complained and gave the burger back and didn’t order anything else. when the bill came they told me the chef said sometimes turkey meat cooks pink!! They only took 15% off my bill rather than removing the turkey burger from Bill. Very poor treatment.
Convenient location to LA Live and Staples Center, good food, but horrible service (server, bus service, etc.).
Just not very good food and terrible service
I inadvertently made the reservation for the wrong date. Though the restaurant was crowded, they fit us in and seated us quickly. Service and food were great and we made our show in plenty of time
Awesome! Great service and food!
Too expensive for mediocre food, but our server was exceptionally nice.
Great spot for dinner before headed to Staples Center or Microsoft Theater! Staff were very nice.
Very good, very reliable mainstream Wolfgang Puck. A bit more expensive than it should be. But nice to have a place like this across street from Staples Center to eat and drink well in a very pleasant environment before heading over there for an event. Menu was modest but all ingredients were fresh. Excellent cheese on margarita pizza. Very good beer on tap. Perfectly cooked grilled asparagus. Very good salad with chicken. Only complaint was how loud the place was, and it was maybe half filled at the time.
Our server was delightful. Sam made the experience great along with great food!
Good selection and good value. The steak salad is great.
Food was great. I guess some of the wait staff didn't show up that night, because they seemed very short staffed. Ordered drinks and appetizers when we sat down; drinks came and then nothing for 20-30 minutes-then main courses came, followed by appetizers! Waited 20 minutes for one dessert and had to remind them about the coffee. Maybe just a short staffed night, but it did affect the overall dining experience. Waiter was very apologetic.
Food was very ordinary, not at all like Wolfgang Puck’s finer dining. If I’m paying $19 for a turkey sandwich it shouldn’t be turkey that looks and tastes the same as what I buy at Trader Joe’s. $16 for an heirloom tomato plate that had four slices. Bathrooms were absolutely disgusting, trash cans overflowing and no paper in the stalls. Good service, though, and L.A. Live is a fun location.
The food was very good. The noise level was very high. There are no sound absorbing materials in sight, and the noise generated by a restaurant full of patrons required everyone to raise their voice. When the service was present, it was good, but the server disappeared several times for lengthy periods.
Service was good and professional.
We chose to side outside since inside was very loud.
Waitress flustered and short with customers, had to send back hard pasta and friend didn’t get her food back until after everyone had already eaten. Too expensive for such poor service and fair food.
