Top notch service, wonderful ambiance and excellent food. The brunch 3 course menu has several options to satisfy palate. The first course fruit, crisp vegetables and crab cakes are nice and light. The second, and main course, ranges from breakfast to dinner dishes (steak, fish, etc.). Great for groups or couples.
Came for the DineLA but not everyone wanted to try it, so had to order from regular menu.
Food was great service was good and it was a lovely evening eating outdoors.
I have always loved going to Hotel Bel Air. Took a Client to celebrate the sale of his house, for drinks in the hotel bar and then for dinner.
Drinks in the bar were lovely, lively and enjoyable.
Since the Patio outside was so quiet, we decided to dine in the bar area.
The Halibut was so overcooked, we had to send it back and were told that to fire a new one would take 45 minutes! (No wonder that it was overcooked). So, ordered a Club Sandwich.
After 45 minutes, when the entire party had finished, I cancelled my Club Sandwich, and it amazingly appeared. Had it wrapped to go. Dissapointing.
Stellar food, service and ambiance. We had the inside dining room to ourselves with extremely attentive wait staff attending to our every need. We can't wait to go back.
Our server, Julian, made the evening special. His service was exceptional and enhanced the entire experience. Thanks Julian!
The ambiance is too casual which loses the sophistication expected for a Wolfgang Puck restaurant. The Thai salad was exceptionally flavorful and service was great.
Awesome restaurant. Two thumbs up.
beautiful setting with delicious food and impeccable service. will go back.
Everything was perfect for our 29th anniversary! Love the Hotel Bel Air!
We definitely come again 👍🏼Great restaurant, nice people
Perfection from the moment I arrived. Warm welcome, warm and polished server who had great pride in the offerings , great food. Consistently among the top restaurants in Los Angeles.
One of the best dining experiences we have ever enjoyed. Splendid atmosphere, great food, and outstanding service from Christian and Julian!
Wonderful dining experience and Mark the waiter was personable and very accommodating, thank you.
Wife’s Birthday and we were treated wonderfully
This was a birthday dinner for my boyfriend and we couldn't have been more pleased. We shared the soft shell crab, the lobster pasta and the "butcher's butter" cut of prime beef with roasted marrow and Armagnac sauce (which our waiter, Christian, told us was the best dish on the menu). Every dish was beautifully prepared and delicious (that prime cut beef was sensational!). We followed it up with a wonderful chocolate souffle. Corkage fee was $45 but the wine mark-up is quite high, so we were glad we brought our own. Christian's service was spot-on and helped make the evening really special. We stopped by the bar for an after-dinner drink and entertainment, which rounded out a really lovely evening.
Overall, my friend's Milestone birthday brunch was absolutely wonderful!! The setting, ambience, and food were simply Superb. Our Server was a bit stiff in the beginning and did NOT ask if I/we had been there before or explain (to me while I was waiting for the Birthday Girl to arrive) that a complimentary glass of champagne, mimosa or Bellini was included in the Brunch. I ordered a soft drink when I arrived, not planning on having any alcohol. We did have the complimentary alcoholic drink when it was explained it was included, but I think she should have explained that when I first sat down. She was a hesitant when I asked if there were any other options for the dessert but, then explained there were. Another server came over after she disappeared for awhile and explained how the Brunch menu worked AND there were definitely alternate choices for the dessert , not a problem at all. He was extremely personable, warm and professional. I think for the amount one is paying for Brunch at Hotel Bel Air, the Service could have been better. Our original Server did check with us after each course to make sure everything was fine which we appreciated. I will go again for another special occasion but will probably request the Server who was more willing to explain everything more readily. Thank you.
Service was uneven. Side dishes never were served with dinner. Deserts were charged to us even though we did not order them. We were charged for side dishes we did not eat because they were not served with dinner. Wine service was fair.
Wonderful birthday celebration! Thank you for making it wonderful!
Wonderful, beautiful restaurant. And what a surprise; Wolfgang Puck was standing at the Maitre De booth and welcomed us ....really
Beautiful ambiance and fine service. Food was below expectations and VERY expensive! My lamb chops were dry and tasteless. My guests' food was just OK. Food was like you might get in a Mom&Pop neighborhood restaurant but the price is in the stratosphere! Won't go again for dinner but lunch might be a possibility.
beautiful environment, pleasant staff, comfortable seating arrangement, knowledgeable staff and very enjoyable service and meals. The food offerings were unique as we expected from a Wolfgang Puck restaurant. A little pricey but well worth the experience.
I've been to Wolfgang Puck at the Hotel Bel Air many times, but this time everyone agreed that the food was superb. Add to that terrific service and a beautiful "vacation away" feel and it's about perfect. But greatness is expensive.
Have frequented the Bel Air for over 20 years
Since the recent remodel we have not been impressed with the food.
This dinner showed they are making strides to expand the menu and overall quality of the food.
Well done Bel Air
This restaurant used to be an old favorite. And I still eat there about once a month because of its proximity to my work. The price of the meals is not my gripe. Somehow, this restaurant has become shabby - and not shabby chic - just DREARY. The Bel Air Hotel was closed fairly recently for a big remodel. The restaurant, once beautiful, now offers impossible booths (to sit in and get in and out of) uncomfortable chairs, "modernized" and uglified. Guess what? It needs another remodel. Make it beautiful AGAIN! The food is good but not good enough to make this place indispensable or popular. The locals may finally be going elsewhere since it was empty at lunch last week. I can only imagine what the Dorchester Group would have done to the amazing Polo Lounge if had not been protected by the National Historic Landmark Association!
Wolfgang Puck never disappoints; nor does the Bel Air Hotel, LA's most beautiful space. While brunch at the Bel Air is over $100/person it is hard to take issue with the ambiance, food and staff--al of which are excellent.
We love this hotel truly Paradise, and this restaurant is right there with it. If you only come to eat spend some time on the hotel grounds.
Enjoy you will not regret it!!!
Our food was amazing and the service was excellent! The hostess (wish I could remember her name) found my friends dropped earring and returned it graciously to our table....
The patio dining room was a disappointment. The layout was nice but the ambiance is in need of attention.
Beautiful place, but very disappointed in menu and food prep. I enjoyed my birthday lunch there only because it's a special place, but wouldn't choose to go there again unless I hear about major improvements in the food department (even the rolls were mediocre). Service was excellent and server was very willing to accommodate us.
Another good dining experience, thank you.
perfect location and ambiance for out of towners - we were delighted
My experience with the restaurant has always been pleasant and enjoyable. It is rare to have such a tranquil setting in the midst of a very crowded city. An excellent place to dine in such a beautiful environment and not having to be bothered by all the noises which is typical n most busy restaurants.
We had a great time! Service was a little slow but it was a busier night. We had a great meal and the fabulous treat of Wolfgang coming by the table to greet us.
A wonderful dining experience. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We both had the octopus and the veal chop. Both were delicious and well presented. The wait staff could not have done more. We were very impressed with the food and service. The hotel is beautiful and very relaxing. Loved the swans. Would love to return for another dining experience when in LA again
You can't beat the setting at the Hotel Bel Air and the service is top notch. The menu is not expansive, but generally upscale items and a choice for each dietary need, with extras like Caviar and good wine choices. Go for brunch or super splurge on a romantic date.
Great food and ambiance. Quiet so you can hear your tablemates talk.
I love brunch here! Its a but pricy but comfortable, elegant and great service!
Beautiful place to enjoy a nice lunch. Excellent service and food!
A little over price but to be expected. It was good and great ambiance.
