Wolfe's in the Warehouse - Marriott New Orleans
Great food, very friendly server, also pretty quick. Place very quite. Overall very enjoyable Lunch! Also only few min walking from convention center
Terrible service, took forever. We had to physically get up to get someone’s attention for coffee. Getting a waiter to take our order took multiple attempts. They forgot toast with everyone’s breakfast. Will never return.
The service was terrible. I had a business meeting at this restaurant and the waitress was surly and unhelpful. In order to get service, I had to wave down the waitress and my customer had to do the same to get a refill. The waitress' rudeness ruined the whole dining experience.
Rickey the bartender was great and made our experience more enjoyable. The food was great and the portion size was good. Short walk from the Riverfront Mall.
service was slow
service was slow. still needs management attention.
EXCELLANT !! DEFINITELY WOULD GO THERE AGAIN.
Dining experience was a huge disappointment. Restaurant did not live up to it's own description and did not do justice to New Orleans cuisine. The bowl of gumbo consisted of a rim of what could have been canned soup around a mound of barely warm white rice. The crab cakes advertised as petite were actually miniscule, were mostly filling and were not served warm. The shrimp poboy was disappointing as well, lackluster shrimp between unadorned bread. At the start of lunch, the one server was serving as hostess and waiting all of the tables for nearly an hour before other staff showed up.
We enjoyed a wonderful Christmas dinner at Wolfe's. The food, even with a limited holiday menu, was delicious and the service was great. I look forward to dining here again.
We enjoyed a beautiful Christmas dinner here. The staff were excellent and the set menu was perfect for a holiday - plenty to choose from without being overly fussy. The food was all perfectly cooked with a really nice mix of traditional southern and modern. The open-ended glass of champagne was much appreciated and made it really feel like Christmas.
I was excited to find a restaurant open on Christmas to take my in-laws. The restaurant was pretty, and the food was good. We did the set 3 course Holiday menu. The service started out strong but turned way too slow once the larger tables of the restaurant started filling up. It was a great place to bring out of towners on Christmas. The food was New Orleans Creole style, but familiar enough to them that they enjoyed it. I can't say I would go there again on a regular night, (being a local) but it's a nice spot for tourists, and hotel guests looking for a fancy night out.
Delicious New Orleans specialties - served with visual appeal; very attentive waiter!
Visited during Tales of the Cocktail - attended the "Spirited Dinner" held at Wolfe's. Service was lacking and rushed. There were not many people there, but they didn't seem to have enough of the same size rocks glasses to go around.
Food quality surpassed expectations, pleasant service.
This was a nice looking place and the maitre'd was great but it took forever to get served (we had a group of 7 for lunch). We sat for nearly an hour waiting for food from the time we sat down. Just too long. Food was on the plus side of average...nothing special but a great place to sit and hang with friends.
This being a hotel restaurant may put some "fine diner's" off, but there would be no disappointment in the menu, quality of the food and the attentiveness of the staff.
Cook does not seem to know how to cook steak to the desire temperature.. asked "medium rare" and the steak was overcooked the first time and undercooked the second time... friend asked for "very rare" and the steak was served "medium". Thankfully the waiter was very helpful.
fois gras was the reason I had booked my reservation for valentines day dinner.. My husband loves it. I went online and looked at the menu and there it was , so i booked. to our surprise it had been removed from the menu. when we ordered kenneth our waiter said let me talk to the chef. He was cooking it special for some friends coming up and had some. he made it just for my husband. AND chef Randy came to the table to ask how was the fois gras . how personal it was wonderful. we will definately be back!
Very nice menu selection... We were in the private room and it is perfect for up to 12 people.
The food was excellent. The restaurant was crowded and our service was still outstanding even with a packed house.
Very nice resturant with a soho atmosphere, ( I am orginally from New York)nicely tucked away in the Warehouse District of New Orleans where there are beautiful art gallaries and such creative artsy style. The food was basic but very delicious and the presentation was lovely. Friendly staff and the head chef comes out to meet the diners. Very upscale yet down to earth.
Nothing special. Christmas eve, very slow. At check-in they couldn't find the reservation although they had called earlier in the day to confirm. "Are you sure you are at the right restaurant" was the question asked. There was NOBODY in the restaurant at that time, so it was odd as if they didn't want yout to come.
Although the restaurant was almost empty (for 6:30 PM reservation), it took considerable time to assign us a table. The hostess stated the delay in seating was due to the high number of reservations; her computer was down so she couldn't confirm my reservation - I reminded her I also had a reservation. Our first table was positioned where I had to straddle two cushions (bench seat) when seated. I immediately asked for another table. By the way, there were several empty tables that remained open the entire time we were there. After this experience, everything really improved - service was prompt and courteous; the soup and salad were superb. Unfortunately, both our main courses were under-cooked. Next time I will order something else.
Entire staff was very professional and courteous. Food was outstanding - portions were a little small. Will definitely return.
My credit card wasn't returned and the final charge to the card was incorrect.
