   From the moment we arrived the service was friendly and attentive. Servers were knowledgeable about the menu and bar offerings. The squid was amazing and the octopus was some of the best I've had. Oysters and the seaweed salad were also excellent. A seafood feast beautifully and creatively prepared and presented. I would definitely eat here again on my next visit to Tofino, no question.

   From the moment we entered Wolf in The Fog we knew we had hit gold ! The place was hopping busy BUT this young , handsome very friendly man ( Colin) gave us a warm welcome & tour all while answering all our questions ! Our decision was made ! This would be the place for our special supper while in Tofino . Tamara was amazing ! So friendly and the most knowledgeable waitress we have ever encountered ! All of our party of 3 work in the hospitality industry . My sister was so impressed that she asked who was the responsible for the training . So impressed ! The little morsel of food was truely amazing ! Thanks for the wonderful memories you provided for our Tofino getaway. The 3 sisters who traveled from PEI,Ont. and BC to connect for a special Birthday will not forget Cheers . See you next time !

   Given all the hype - Canada's best new restaurant 2014 etc - I was expecting more. The room (upstairs) is lovely - great design and it felt warm and cozy on a recent stormy Saturday night. The service was fine - a little perfunctory but I can live with that. The cocktails I had were excellent - well balanced and presented with interesting garnishes. The food was okay. Very large portions that were even bigger than described. We shared the beef shank and it could have made 6 hungry surfers happy. We should have stuck to the small plates.... sigh.

   We had made a reservation online and didn't know a lot about the restaurant. Wolf in the Fog is more of a sharing type restaurant. The food is fabulous - very creative combination of flavours that works well. Every bite was delicious. Particular mention for the Moroccan spiced octopus and the albacore tuna. Definitely recommend the restaurant.

   I celebrated my birthday here with a group of dear friends. The server was very knowledgable about the wine list and menu and provided great suggestions. We were all VERY impressed with our meals (chicken, beef and fish) - delicious flavours and perfectly cooked, paired with the recommended BC wine, and topped off with a sticky toffee sundae - yummy! Never felt rushed and wine and courses appeared at just the right times. Lovely casual west coast ambiance as well. So glad we heard about Wolf in the Fog and were able to dine here - a very memorable meal to celebrate my birthday.

   We went there for a family dinner (4 kids) and had a great experience. The whole staff was extremely helpful and very nice with our kids. I would definitely say this is a kids-friendly place and they do have a kids menu. It's our second time there and we'll be back.

    We had heard about this place from friends and then read a bit as well. Our dining experience was above and beyond! A must stop location in Tofino.
