The food was delicious, perfectly made to order and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is cozy and it is not quite, as the space is fairly small and the place quite popular. However, the personal space was not breached. Topping it all is the service. Cara was just perfect.
Altogether a very enjoyable experience.

This visit was for a grand opening after a period of closure due to a fire. The theme was to come dressed for the 1920's. Attendance was extensive from regulars and others that heard about the event and decided to come. In all, it was vibrant and fun. The food was exceptional, the mixed drinks unique and enjoyable, and the whole event was great fun.

My husband and I were so impressed with the Wine Kitchen in Frederick that we wanted to check out their chop house in Purcellville. It did not disappoint. In a time when customer service is all but dead, the WK Hearth staff prove to be the exception. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, making a wonderful meal that much more enjoyable. My husband and I shared the BELT salad (incredible use of fresh dill) and the Brussels sprout salad (one of the most beautiful dishes I’ve ever been served). We then both had the burger topped with bacon jam. BACON. JAM. We finished the meal with a dessert recommended by the owner, who took the time to chat with us about the restaurant as well as the surrounding area, which goes to show that if attitude reflects leadership, it’s no wonder why WK Hearth has such phenomenal staff. Can’t recommend this place enough and my husband and I can’t wait to visit the Leesburg location. This has officially become our favorite go-to restaurant.

We are so pleased they are back open. Our food was to die for this past weekend. Ribeye and sides were second to none, and my wife LOVED the spaghetti pesto, a perfect veggie dish. We are foodies and pleasing our diversity is a real challenge. Well done WK. we were glad to see most of the staff back too. They were real busy which slowed the evening down for us to a perfect date night pace. Will be going back real soon!

We hadn't been in a year and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, the attentiveness (not helicopter though) of the wait staff. Only downside was a blinding chandelier that I noticed immediately when we walked in and was in my view for dining. No dimmer apparently but promised that that was on the punch list for them. Only other issue was a woman at bar who was a constant "cackler". Nothing worse... But the warm brussel sprout salad is to die for . Might consider making it for Thanksgiving if they'll give up the recipe. Fish was nicely cooked. And we talked to the owner about their wonderful Hazelnut cake dessert which needed a very slight tweak (more ice cream). Loved the wine selections!

My boyfriend and I celebrated our anniversary and an early birthday for me this past Saturday night. We couldn't have had a better experience with the wine, food and ambiance. Our server was attentive but not over bearing. We were treated to champagne for our celebrations which was delicious! The food was the star of the night!! From the cheese board to dessert all were above outstanding!! The WK Hearth is my favorite restaurant in all of the area and if I could frequent it more I would. Keep doing what you are doing!! Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for the best food ever!!!

Great food, we had a lot of fun. The manager/owner (I assume) explained how and where they got the food. They had just changed the menu, they change it frequently based on the seasons.

I have eaten here before and have always loved it but this last experience here was amazing. The food was incredible. We started with the warm Brussels sprout salad. It was to die for. Then we got a complimentary steak tartare because someone had ordered it no longer wanted it. I will now order this every time I go. Amazing combination of flavors. Wow! For our mains I had the sweet Pototoe Gnocchi and my husband had the Pastami style Short Ribs. Both were spectacular. Our server was polite, friendly andvattentive. I haven't even mentioned the cocktails! Love that this quality and service is in our own back yard.

Overall the service was good and the food tasted good. However, the portion size was way too small for the price charged. Come-on-man, don't charge me $30 bucks for a little piece of fish.

We are always delighted! We order from the menu the most obscure items (rutabaga-apple soup or bone marrow) with the full confidence of knowing that it will be delicious and have never been let down. Cheers!

The food here is always good, but the warm brussel sprout salad and the scallops with duck rilletes were all amazing!! Dinner was accompanied by the terrific selection of tasting flights of wine and the tiramisu for dessert. Our server was friendly without interrupting our dinner and was very attentive to our needs. Overall a top night!

Although we've been to the Leesburg WK this was our first visit to the Purcelville location and it was well worth it. Great food, great wine, and the staff made us feel welcome and appreciated. In fact, on a very busy Friday night when our entrees were taking a bit longer than expected, Mike made it a point to stop by our table again and offer us both a complimentary glass of wine and apologized for the delay....nice touch and first class! We'll definitely visit again.

We have dined at WK Hearth only a handful of times. The food NEVER disappoints-but we were recently taken aback by the addition of the bold and modern wall coverings on the first floor, and were truly confused by the addition of the ill placed boudoir lighting in the dining room on the second floor.
The previous austere and simple feel of the interiors paired so well with the creative and vibrant farm to table faire. Unfortunately, these new "additions" to the interior design of the restaurant don't provide a cohesive experience. Black transparent chandeliers, loud harlequin patterns and bold red banquettes just don't fit with your name, menu or theme.
Editing these ridiculous additions would be a welcome and pleasant return!

This is s a gem of a restaurant. We had been to the Wine Kitchen but this was our first time at WK Hearth. Great atmosphere, you feel like you are in a farmhouse, service was personal and professional, shot & a beer was fun, the food is very thoughtful and local. Way exceeded our expectations. We will be back often.
