Restaurant Wjelbik (meaning "pantry") is located in a 600-year old building in Bautzen. It's owned by the Mahling family, with their daughter Monika in charge of the restaurant and her husband Thomas Lukas operating as head chef. On the Wjelbik menu you'll find traditional Saxon and Lusatian dishes, such as Sorbian Wedding Soup, Lausitzer trout fillet and Caramelized rhubarb compote. Try a locally brewed beer or a fine wine to make your meal even sweeter. If you're staying in town for the night, you can rest in the Hotel Dom-Eck, a Sorbian hotel near the Wjelbik.

Es war, wie immer, hervorragend. Super, super freundlich und selbst ein paar Minuten Wartezeit für den freien Tisch waren uns angenehm. Das Essen auch wir immer super lecker und wir freuen uns schon jetzt auf das nächste Mal
