Without Papers is a great pizza place - reliably good and casual atmosphere. Set in Inglewood, it invites wandering through the eclectic shops and having a delicious bite with friends and loved ones!
Great atmosphere, but diffident service. Easy to modify reservations, though! Food was mediocre.
Great pizza, wine and ambiance. Service was a little slow, but nothing to complain about.
The food was fast and Mia our server was excellent. She was amazing, funny and we have been back several time mostly due to her energy.
The pizzas are great and probably the best crust we've had in Calgary. We've been to alot of pizza places in Calgary. We've without papers is a must visit restaurant.
Great pizza. However, I would say it's pricey for what it is. My wife and I each had a pizza without any drinks and with tax/tip, our bill was $50. I'd have to say, that's a bit much for how much a simple pizza should cost. (Admittedly, we each had leftovers to bring home)
Great good. Marinated olives were delicious. Everyone loved the food. Pizza took a while to come out and service was slow. It looked like our waiter had a lot of tables to cover. Perhaps the most challenging aspect was the noise level. Music was loud. With a larger table and a couple of individuals hard of hearing it was a damper on the conversation. Overall, great place for a younger crowd but leave the older folks at home and get take-out
It was a good place to have a family birthday celebration. I enjoyed the wild boar pizza.
They have floats and pizza. You can't go wrong.
WOP Pizza's thin crust pizza is the best in Calgary, in my opinion. The ingredients are great, the atmosphere is vey friendly and the open kitchen and wood fired oven make for interesting conversational background.
Their sauce is put on with a light hand and my wife and I really enjoy that as the ingredients are more pronounced We also enjoy the old classic movies playing on the walls.
Casual, delicious and fun! If you like pizza this is a great place.
we have come to wop for many occasions. I like the thin crust pizza. it really feels like we are in Italy.
it is the closest thin crust pizza we have found in Calgary that is very close to Italian pizza in Italy.
Incredible service for a casual dining restaurant. The waitress we had should train others! The pizza was also outstanding, but the salad was a bit wilted.
Food quality is always very good. Fresh and fast. Wait staff are fun and attentive. Be aware that children may be present.
Love this place! Not a huge pizza fan but this place changed my mind. Definitely the top of our date list. The server was so fantastic; we had tried it over a year ago and she remembered us. Made us feel right at home. We will definitely be going back!
Great place to take a mixed group of adults and children.
Very good selection of pizzas; not your everyday pizza place. Ingredient combinations are delightful. Average pizza is just under 20 and they come in one size.
Service was fantastic.
First time coming to WP. It was great Their special pizza of the day was a nice option as well. Came for a birthday dinner.
Everything was awesome. Our server was the best part of it. She was the server I have had in awhile, unfortunately i dont remeber her name
The hawaiian 5-0 was delicious. Only thing i had a problem with was the service. At the end we were waiting to pack up and get the bill but the waitress was on her phone at the bar for like 15min. At the end i had to go up and ask for it.
One of my favourite places in Calgary! Highly recommend! Great pizza, great atmosphere and it never disappoints :)
This restaurant never disappoints. Great variety of pizzas and very reasonable wine. The crust is chewy and has a great bite without being too much. The toppings are plentiful and flavourful. Sadly, they were out of the caesar salad. The beet salad was good, but nothing special. We shared 4 pizzas and 3 salads among 6 people, all with healthy appetites. We all left full. Especially those who had the cheesecake and tiramisu. The cheesecake was great. Luckily I was too full to indulge.
I have always found the food & the service to be exceptional, on the whole a very nice experience.
Our server was great...sorry dont remember her name...
Most likely the best in the city... If it's not; tell me what's better
I meet my husband at WoP about once a month, usually on a Friday after work. We love the food & the casual, cool atmosphere.
The rude host insisted on seating us next to the kitchen, even though all other tables were empty. There was a fan on us that cooled our food instantly. The margherita pizza wasn't great, more like a cracker with tomato sauce on it.
BooYah! This place always hits it out of the park. Not many options past pizza, but come on, it is a pizza joint after all.
The pizza is ally top notch! I love bringing friends who haven't tried WOP as they always comment at the end of the evening they will be back!
Good overall. Will return.
Especially liked the meat and cheese platter! Loved the big screens that can be seen from any seat, they were playing the last Hip concert which we appreciated. Love the casual environment yet with top notch food! Well done! If you like a nice authentic Italian pizza with a glass of wine or beer this place is for you.
Bring your Nalgene:
A desperate swing at mediocrity, W/O Papers misses on every aspect of dining; except location and service. The service was simply outstanding from greeting to exit.
The food, on the other hand, was an over-salted affair (crust, ingredients- I think they may have salted out wine as well). Coupled with the temperature hoovering around Dante's ninth level, we found W/O Papers to be a devestating miss (for the second time now). So abandon hope all hope and come hydrated.
While this pizza place is super cool but the gluten free crust was one of the worst I have had. It fell apart easily and was difficult to chew. Wasn't worth 25 for a pizza. That being said, I was told the regular crust is amazing!
I am never disappointed when I go to Without Papers. Absolutely delicious every time.
Missed our order, server found out an hour later. Manager said would give us free desserts but nothing given to us at all, only our full bill shown up. Bad service and food is so so, not worth to wait for an hour to get pizza, what they offer (free dessert) was lie only.
We had dinner on July 30 with two children the server was extremely accommodating and helpful. Only complaint is no ice for water good was awesome no leftovers!!
Awesome food, atmosphere, and service was friendly, couldn't have been better
My husband and I were craving pizza and we are so glad we chose Without Papers. We sat by the window and enjoyed the evening scenes below on a warm summer night in Inglewood. We came for the pizza and it didn't disappoint, perfect thin crust with delicious Flavour combinations of toppings. I would love to come back to this cool spot and share some appies with girlfriends.
This was my third time at Without Papers and again everything was amazing! Best food and incredible friendly service. Thank you!
one of the best pizzas I've ever tasted; worth a detour
