Went for brunch. Including bottomless mimosas, the cost was over $80 per person. Food was just ok. Expected much better food for the price. Service was excellent.

The buffet was limited and very overpriced! Our waitress offered to bring us anything from the kitchen that we did not see on the buffet. We asked for fried oysters( which we were told would be on the buffet when we called) and the waitress said they didn’t have batter. Overall very disappointed in the value!

Our waiter was nice and very personable. Our steaks were perfectly cooked with a tasty crust on the outside. It was my birthday and for dessert he surprised me with small bowls of all their ice cream flavors and a little chocolate wafer with a candle. I have nothing bad to say about this place! Great dining experience!

Unfortunately they are acting like they will be closing in a month. The food was just okay, we had to ask for bread, had a 5:30pm reservation at which time I asked to be seated at a 4 top, up on arrival I was told that they were all reserved, from 5:30 until we left at 7pm not one 4 top was seated. Don't waste your time going here, the employees are clearly in a I don't have much longer to work here mode
which is sad because it used to be a great restaurant. Neither the service nor the food were representative of a Michael Mina restaurant.

For a Thanksgiving buffet it is hard to beat if you want good food and outstanding service. At $95 plus tax and tip it's hard to truly recommend this over more conventional restaurants, like Charleston at a similar price point, but those reservations are hard to get. The turkey was so moist and tasty that it was a highlight of the meal while the pasta with black truffle sauce was divine and the cocktail shrimp were fresh and gigantic. The mac and cheese had an ultimate in cheesiness and stuffing was at herbal excellence at its best. Let downs included the sushi which was of supermarket quality, if the supermarket had left it out for hours, salads which seemed more of an afterthought and more like weird side dishes and the desserts were just ordinary. i was hoping for their wonderful lobster pot pie but there was no joy. Although the restaurant will validate the parking it's only a discount and parking will still cost you $14 plus driver tip. All in all a good experience if expensive meal, and better than the similar fare at The Rusty Scupper buffet at half the price and a much smaller crowd at W&W.

This is our second time dining at Wit and Wisdom for dinner and it was just a spectacular as the first. Kudos to the chef and his team for some of the best prepared and presented dishes we’ve had in all of Baltimore. The Waite Staff deserves an equal call out for not only be gracious but fully familiar with the menu and wine list, creating a much more personalized dining experience. Top it all off with some of the best views of the Harbor and it’s easy to see why Wit and Wisdom is top rated Baltimore restaurant!

I had been to Wit & Wisdom the week before and everything was excellent - drinks, food, service - it was a great experience. I went back this week for a business dinner and I was very disappointed. The oysters were not shucked properly, we were told about specials that they had run out of, and our waiter kept dropping items. This was on a Monday so perhaps steer clear on Mondays?

The place was nice, the wait staff was very nice, but the food was just ok. The real kicker was that we both got 1 drink, both got an entree, and an extra side dish, no dessert. It cost us $201. I think that's absurd. I would have happily paid $80 for that meal. It was decent, but there wasn't actually that much flavor or finesse in the food, so it was absolutely not worth the prices.

I've eaten at two other Four Seasons properties and was a little disappointed with my experience. The server mentioned a couple of people called out so that explained why service was slow. I appreciated the explanation but was it necessary? The calamari was greasy with the oily residue left in the serving dish. Our server brought the check over without me asking for it and wasn't offered a dessert menu which I wanted to see. When I asked to see the dessert menu I mentioned it was my daughter's birthday (which I noted in the reservation). It took a long time for the cheesecake to arrive and out server came over a few times to explain they're made in another part of the hotel. She was kind enough to send a dessert dish for daughter which she and I appreciated. When she brought the updated check I looked over the bill and she was quick to point out my daughter's dish was complimentary. I explained I always make sure I receive the correct check before giving my credit card and assumed the birthday dish was complimentary. Uneven experience at best.

I looked all over for a restaurant to take my wife for her birthday. I chose Wit and Wisdom out of 5 or so places. It was a beautiful night and we sat outside everything was going great. Server was excellent drinks and salad on time. Then we waited a very long time for our entree and when it did come out it was very cold. Manager came over apologized and sent drinks and appetizers while we waited for our entrees. Food came later it was excellent. Manager and staff did a excellent Job and would recommend Wit and Wisdom. They turned a bad situation in to a Perfect night. Thank You ! Jim

Though I'd visited the bar at Wit & Wisdom in the past, this is the first time I've eaten dinner there. The restaurant did not disappoint. The weather was excellent, permitting outdoor seating with a wonderful view over the Baltimore Harbor. A Pink Floyd cover band was playing a concert nearby, and we were able to enjoy the fresh air and live music echoing across the water on a perfect 74-degree day. Our waitress was exemplary, one of few who inquired about allergies and/or dietary restrictions prior to taking our order. She subsequently checked up on us no less than five times over the course of our meal, and appeared to demonstrate genuine concern for our needs. Cocktails, appetizers, main courses and desserts were brought out in a timely fashion, and were absolutely top-notch. The Squid Ink Tagliatelle and the Truffle Mac & Cheese were highlights. The Bourbon Steak Burger was excellent, topped with a tiny foie gras slider and accompanied by crisp old bay fries. Both diners ordered "Chocolate & Coffee" for dessert, and found it to be delicious and not overly heavy. A post-prandial digestive walk along the harbor brought a delightful evening to a close. Compliments to Michael Mina and his staff. Would not hesitate to go back in the future.

Mediocre now. A steep decline from earlier days. The menu has shrunk to steaks plus a couple other limited choices, essentially a gastro-pub, but massively expensive. If you want fine dining, there are better choices, if you want a great steak, there are better choices. Pacing is slow, even when the restaurant is uncrowded. Food is often too salty. Lovely setting, but doesn't compensate for food/service lapses.

A great evening. We were celebrating our 42nd anniversary and the staff could not have been nicer. We were especially touched when we were seated and a “Happy Anniversary “ card was already on the table - signed by everyone on the restaurant staff! Great oysters to start, followed by filet mignon grilled to perfection. Excellent wine selection and deserts to cap off a truly memorable evening. We will be back!

I enjoyed my meal at Wit & Wisdom, but I was distracted by the background music soundtrack which consisted entirely of 1980s hard rock. When I am paying more than $200 for dinner for two, I don't want to be assaulted by music that sounds like I'm at a frat party.

We made a reservation for 5 people for my fiancé’s birthday dinner. Last minute, we added an additional person and Wit and Wisdom was very accommodating. We had a nice round table by the window where we had a nice view of the water. It was raining, but still nice to have a view! We had a round of their house whiskey, which is buffalo trace. We ordered the tuna tartar and duck spring rolls and both were delicious! The bread is served toasted with honey butter- incredible. Most ordered the 8 oz filet, which I did, and it WAS cooked perfectly. We all shared potato purée which went nicely with the sauce from the steak. The asparagus had a great hollendaise sauce on it. The truffle Mac n cheese was good, but we all agreed the potato purée was better. Our service was amazing and they were very accommodating with payment over 2 cards plus some cash. I love this restaurant and will definitely be back!
