Sunday brunch. Always great, seemed even better selection this time. It doesn’t hurt you that they added a gelato station.
Top notch, friendly service.
We took our granddaughter to celebrate her 18th birthday and enjoyed Old Bay chips and dip followed by three delicious lunches. An extra surprise was the tiny mousse topped with ice cream, a lighted candle and Happy Birthday written on her plate. A must stop place for lunch if you're shopping or strolling in Harbor East!
Additional seafood options for brunch service such as crab legs, fried shrimp, and crab cakes.
We went for Sunday brunch. Really nice. Good variety. Friendly service. The restaurant is closing soon as Mina is not going to renew but the four seasons is taking it over but my guess is they will still have a brunch. Get a table by the window. Nice harbor view.
Food was excellent. Was there alone on business, but waitstaff was wonderful. Other tables were very loud, so took away from fine dining.
this was the first time I did not have a good experience at Wit and Wisdom. the Hostess lost my dining partner--said she sat her at the bar and couldn't find her for about 30 minutes. then recalled she seated her at the table. Very rowdiy group next to us made hearing very difficult for this business meeting. Rockfish was poorly cooked--completely raw in some places. Glass of wine was very bitter but sommelier was hesitant to take it back. Other than that, the seating by the window was very nice, waitress was fine. Usually I have found it to be a great place to dine. This time, the high prices simply were not justifiable given te experience.
Service was 5 star. A wonderful place for Baltimore.
The Sunday brunch was AMAZING!!
The food was absolutely fantastic. The service was great. The views from the restaurant were breathtaking.
Great food, selection, and service
Get the hush puppies!
We enjoyed a lovely brunch with a nice array of fresh seafood, breakfast specialties and pastries. The food was simply prepared and well presented. The staff was friendly and professional.
Michelle was awesome!
Very mediocre experience. Restaurant is located next to the hotel bar, with loud annoying music. Not all the items on the menu were available. Service is ok, food is ok. If you are staying in the hotel, are tired and dont want to out, this is the place for you.
So loud we couldn’t eat there. Music was horrible so loud and inappropriate. We were seated and not attended to promptly. Also two vegetarians. And very little to offer that had no meat. We finally left after sitting for 20min couldn’t even ask if he’d could accommodate us. But the music and noise level made it unbearable
Best food and experience one could expect. The view is by the water too.
Wit and Wisdom is my favorite place in Baltimore. Have brought friends and family here. Food is always excellent. It is pricy, but you get what you pay for. This place is beyond amazing!
The weekend brunch at Wit and Wisdom is the best. Great variety of delicious and creatively prepared food. The servers are so helpful and friendly. Worth every penny!!!
We went to Wit & Wisdom for Valentine's Day. There was a fixd price menu, but there were many options. The food was delicious. My husband and I both had a steak that was perfectly prepared. The waiter was attentive and the atmosphere was very romantic. I thought the music could have been turned down to be more background music. Overall, it was a locely evening.
Maine lobster was amazing!! Waitress had amazing service.
We went for VDay, not knowing it was a preset meal with a $95 ticket per person. However, she deserved it so it was worth it. I will say that morally I felt bad, spending almost $300 on food in a country/city where people are starving!
They definitely packed us in, meaning we were sitting very close to another couple. Very close lol
Overall we had a great time and I'd do it again next year, with budget planning :-)
Disappointing meal. Came for Valentines Day which was a mistake on our behalf. The place was crowded and the staff seemed to be anxious and overwhelmed. The couple at the table next to us asked to have their food boxed up after their first course because they were so irritated and left. For a $500 check for two people I would expect a farrrr higher level of service and food. It came out cold and we had to ask to have our wine pairing brought over to us for our second and third courses and we were told that the 'som was just really busy' which I can understand but maybe just bring over the wine and she can come by later? At any rate we both left disappointed and ripped off.
Excellent all around. Food was delicious, service was great.
Tables too close together...too noisy...and Valentine prix fixe menu only gave customer two choices of how you wanted beef cooked (medium rare or well). All of this for over $300 for a couple...bad deal!
I booked Wit and Wisdom for a Valentine’s Day dinner with my wife. We looked at the menu ahead of time and knew what we wanted. When we arrived for our reservation we were informed that there was a price fixe menu for the night...for $95 per person! There was no indication of this on the website or on the email confirmation. We certainly would not have gone had we known. We were expecting to spend $150-170, but instead spent $260! Overall, the food was good, but not $260 good! The plates were very small too! We left feeling a bit ripped off.
Always one of the finest dining experiences anywhere! There seafood appetizers are the freshest and abundant. Get two or three and share. All appetizers and entrees have perfect balance of multiple flavors and textures.
food was very good though pricey. Good selection for brunch. Atmosphere was fun, nice waterfront view. Will go again.
I recently booked a dinner date for my girlfriend for her birthday and I was worried because I actually live in Detroit so I had never seen this place being that I’m only in Baltimore to see her. She is really picky about everything but she was very happy with my choice. The whole mood was perfect from the table, view, waitress to the food. She thought it was really romantic so I scored some extra brownie points. I would suggest it to anyone that’s looking to have a classy night out with some good food and a great vibe.
This is by far the best brunch around. They have a large variety of food and everything is amazing!
Really outstanding meal and service; everything we ordered was distinctively tasty and prepared with outstanding attention to detail. Our server's recommendations were right on.
I personally found the background music -- which was techno-dance and overloud when the restaurant was not crowded -- a distraction. But maybe I'm just not hip enough.
Excellent experience overall. Thoroughly enjoyed everything.
I met a friend who I had not seen for awhile for Sunday Brunch. The extent of the buffet was amazing. Quality of food excellent. Friendly helpful staff. They even had a kids table set a little lower with trimmed crust pbj and grilled cheese little sandwiches, mini egg sandwiches, chicken figures and french fries. Lots of adults were also enjoying that table as well as the children could be served from the typical adults food. My friend and I were enjoying our visit so much that we ended up talking for 4 hours. We never felt rushed or like someone was hovering for our table.
Everything was wonderful. It was an exceptional dining experience. Save room for dessert, the chocolate bar is one of the best dessert experiences ever.
The food and choice selections were wonderful. The area around two chairs was coated with very large and noticeable crumbs and foods. I called this to the attention of the waitress. She did nothing about it. I felt very uncomfortable.
It was great!
I went here for Sunday brunch on a first date. Seating was near the window with a view of the bay, and private conversation. The variety and quality of the food was outstanding. Multiple type of salad, fresh shrimp, oysters, and three kinds of shrimp, prime rip, a plethora of desserts and a lot more. Service was excellent and very accommodating. I would absolutely eat here again, probably going a bit earlier (we arrived about 45 minutes before they closed) to sample more of the fare.
Best Brunch Ever! Beautiful views and the selection was amazing.
My family loved the s'more station.
We had a very nice meal at Wit and Wisdom. Hushpuppies were a little oversold, they were a bit dry and the lobster foam did not taste like lobster. Salads were fantastic, I had the kale squash. Lobster pot pie was good, but not great. It was very one note, which may just be the case with a pot pie, but it was not worth it in the end. Short rib, however, was very nice and quite filling with the lentils. Service was spot on and location and ambience kept it a special night out. We'll probably come back.
Service was excellent, great wine list with knowledge staff that made great suggestions. Appetizers were very tasty but very small. Everything went well except for the entrees. I was with 8 friends celebrating my wife’s birthday, it was a Sunday night and not very crowded. 4 people got the ribeye all were not seasoned, all were warm (not hot) and most were not cooked as requested mostly over done. I ordered a NY stripe which was overlooked, under seasoned and just tough. Two girls got the rockfish and it was incredibly fishy. The sides were excellent I just with the main event was worth the very expensive price tag.
Good food. Waited too long to get bartenders attention despite it being not very crowded
