Overall: good. Nothing special, but nothing terrible either. For the price point, we expected more.
The pumpkin hush puppies were AMAZING and a very unique dish. But the calamari they paired with were unfortunately bland.
I had the sweet potato souffle which was just mashed sweet potatoes. No souffle structure at all.
My boyfriend had the pork chop picatta which was good/very good.
As an avid dessert lover, nothing on the dessert menu turned my crank.
Open table messed up the time.

It is always delicious. The staff is helpful, excited and never pushy. The food is delightful. The drinks are amazing.

It took a minute to get seated. We were seated maybe 6 inches from another couple. It was kind of awkward for both of us. Server was great! Food was delivered quick.
Excellent food, and the waiter's creative description even convinced my wife (a "green eggs and ham" person) to try skate wings (stingray), a first for her (she liked it). My trout had a Panko crust which added crunch while keeping the fish light. A black eye pea hummus appetizer was made interesting with the addition of pickled vegetables. The crab cake appetizer was also good. A minor negative is that the main room lacks any dividers between the very closely-packed tables. It makes the restaurant noise level pretty high. Happy I went, will go again.
We visited Wisteria for Valentine's Day date night and we could not have been more happy with our experience. Our server was an absolute gem. She went above and beyond our expectations. We will be returning for future visits.
- We made 8:30pm reservations for Valentine's Day and weren't seated until 9:15pm.
- Oysters were fine, but not remarkable.
- I ordered shrimp and grits which was littered with pieces of shell and overbearingly salty.
- My husband ordered a Valentine's special - lobster risotto. It was completely devoid of flavor. The lobster was overcooked and the risotto was one large, dry mass in the middle of the plate.
- Service at the front of the restaurant was absent and table service was rushed.
We won't be returning.
I was there most recently for Valentine's Day and chef Walker Brown created a wonderful special item menu for the evening in addition to the incredible items that are already on offer at the restaurant. Chef always has creative seasonal items and I've never been disappointed when dining here.
