The food is always good here, and the ambiance is charming. It’s one of those neighborhood gems. It’s our go-to for dinner before hitting Horizon or 7 stages. The wine list is only okay, and the glass they put it in is too small and ruins the taste of the wine. If I could bring my own bottle and my own glassware, this restaurant would get 5 stars. Otherwise the wine selection/presentation reduces the pleasure of the good food.
Consistently fabulous.... Every time. Never disappoints.
Wisteria is an old favorite. It’s a place you can rely on finding something fantastic on the menu. The service is always good. We had a great meal.
Jim our waiter was great. Food good especially carpaccio
We were in town for the weekend. A friend recommended this place and we were very pleased. The food was excellent and the service was phenomenal!!! Next time we are in ATL we will be dining here!!
Had a reservation for 8pm on a Friday night. No issues with parking. The tenderloin and fried chicken main meals were ok. Crab Bisque was tasty, but served luke warm. Our Server was very nice, but we felt forgotten about a majority of the time being seated in the left front windows. The cocktails were outstanding.
For years, I had been hearing about Wisteria. For her birthday, we decided to go. Dinner was great. Staff was professional and friendly. We started with calmari. Delicious! For dinner, I had trout coated in almonds. It was perfect. We finished with a dessert selection. Jason Hill, the owner stopped by and talked a little. Really a charming guy, and you could tell he cared about our experience. I'll definitely go back.
Delicious food, lovely atmosphere.
Not the Wisteria of several years ago. Host was extremely pretentious and outwardly annoyed that we had or 11 year-old with us for Mother’s Day dinner. We checked in at 7:08 and were told that we would have to wait until exactly 7:15 for our table because that was when our reservation was.... they sat us at a table at 7:20 that was open when we walked in... service was extremely slow, and food was nothing exquisite.... good food, but not what I had come to expect from Wisteria. Overall a bit disappointing....
The food, service and ambience were top notch. It was the day before mothers day and we had to wait a few extra minutes for our table. The Managers made the wait time easy by bringing us a glass of champagne. A really nice touch. Once we were seated the waiter explained the menu thoroughly and the evening special. The food was delicious, I had the crab soup and the pork tenderloin, both choices I would have again. The peach hand pie was a great dessert.
Overall the experience was wonderful and we look forward to our next meal.
On it's way out. After so many years Wisteria seems rough around the edges and ready for retirement. It took us a long time to choose what to eat as nothing seemed interesting. What we did choose was very disappointing. The flavor profiles were muddled or heavy handed and the choice of ingredients didn't pair well together. In fact I have indigestion from the meal I had.
Time to hang up the tongs.
We love this place and it’s been amazing on every visit since our first date back in 2002!
I highly recommend you check it out.
Brought friends from out of town.
Everything was excellent. We were the ones who brought the noise level up, we were having such a good time. Natalie, as always, was excellent.
Have been to Wisteria on two other occasions. Each visit was less impressive than than the previous one. On this, the third visit, I decided no more chances for the restaurant to redeem itself.
The food was marginal for the price; there are far more Atlanta restaurants with better food at lower prices. I had the lamb shank, which was just okay. The accompaniments were horrible- heavy, starchy and little flavor.
The waiter was surly, and couldn’t be less interested. The final straw was when he dropped off the check and literally dropped the pen on the table as if it was the end of a great experience (like a singer dropping the mic). Seriously?!?!?
Spare yourself the misery and go somewhere else.
Really good. Fresh. Nice vegetarian options
Food was excellent, server was great, the atmosphere was very good, allowed conversation and at the same time not quiet, pleasant ambience.
Husband and I came for our 2nd Anniversary - the service and food could not have been better. We’ve made plenty of reservations elsewhere and have flagged for occasions. But Wisteria took it above and beyond. We were blown away with the ambiance and the food and our server was quite busy but gave us all of the attention. Definitely recommend and will absolutely be back!
Went for my husbands birthday dinner. Food was great and they gave us a free glass of champagne which was lovely. However they forgot about our two appetizers and just brought out the main course we were splitting. It took us a couple times to explain we hadnt gotten the apps yet. The waiter was very apologetic and gave great service otherwise. We will return as the meal of scallops, arancini and trout was delicious.
This restaurant was an amazing surprise for us staying in the downtown area for a conference. It was an easy and beautiful drive out to this very comfortable neighborhood. The restaurant is quite comfortable too, very open and attractive. Our waiter provided helpful descriptions of the menu and offered us a perfect experience of customer service and friendly conversation. The food was beyond our expectations. The black-eyed pea Hummus was a delicious start, and we both decided on the Georgia Coastal Shrimp and Grits. These were very well done, with a unique flavor that complimented the main taste of the fresh, fresh shrimp and the grits. We finish with an interesting idea for desserts. They are somewhat small and affordable, so it allows for us to choose more than one to try out, with them offering a discount if you choose three. The Chocolate Ganache is a can't miss. They This is a delightful place to eat and the only thing we were disappointed with was that this visit, we missed out on all the other incredible looking choices on the starters and the main dishes.
Fabulus food and service
We have been to Wisteria for several business dinners and we have never been disappointed. This is my go to when foreign visitors come to town and want "southern" food.
I have been going to Wisteria for over 20 years. Their consistently good farm to table food and good wine list have made it a favorite restaurant for me and my friends.
I went with a party of 5. We ALL enjoyed all of our apps and entrees. We especially liked the calamari with pumpkin seed hushpuppies and the smoked trout salad, which was the special that evening.
Awesome restaurant, the food was amazing, and the staff was extremely friendly. I would definitely go again.
Great. We’ll be back food was outstanding as was the service
Wisteria had been one of those restaurants we had driven by meaning of times, but never made it in for dinner. We decided to take in dinner before the theater and boy are we glad we did. Our meal was fantastic and the environment was lively. We will definitely be back many times.
Came on a Sunday dinner. No problem with a party of 10. And quiet enough to talk around the table. Food was inventive and tasty and the service was attentive
First time experience was great!!! Server was knowledgeable and lively, he answered all of my wife's questions (not an easy task). Food was even better, nice size portions, and it filled me up without weighing me down. I had the fried chicken and my wife had the shrimp and grits. The cornbread was the best Ive ever had!! We will definetly be back again!
Great food, service and atmosphere and they honored our specific table request
We had an excellent meal and service was fantastic!
Food was good but nothing amazing. The plating was nice. Wife and I tried 4 appetizers and a salad and they came pretty much all at one time. Kinda ruined the pace of the whole meal. Glad to try it, but won’t be returning...
My husband and I loved Wisteria! The food was great and service fantastic. Lots of interesting drinks available from the bar. Jocelyn took great care of us and her recommendations were spot on. We’ll be back!
Excellent food!! We are visiting from out of town and would highly recommend this restaurant!!! Great gluten free menu for my mom and service and food was great!
As always, this place is great.
This was our first visit to Wisteria and it will not be the last. Everything was absolutely delicious. Our server was so nice and had wonderful recommendations.
Wife’s birthday. Great food and customer experience. Would highly recommend.
The food was delicious and the server (Ryan) was great! He was attentive and funny:).
About my 4th time visiting wisteria as it is one of my favorites. Same great service but I don’t think the food was as good this particular time. Still good but not as great as previous times. I usually go around 8-9 pm but went when they first open around 6 this time so idk if that had anything to do with it. Great restaurant and venue still though.
The owner of the restaurant is genuinely interested in what comes out of the kitchen. It is a rare and wonderful thing to see today. The atmosphere and the food combined with good staff makes it worth spending time there again and again.
Fabulous carpaccio! A variety of small plates which is our preference for dining. Knowledgeable and friendly servers. Will return again and again!
