Open table messed up the time.
Brad the bartender was outstanding.
It is always delicious. The staff is helpful, excited and never pushy. The food is delightful. The drinks are amazing.
Wow - what a delicious meal! Our entire group loved their meal. Great ambiance, too!
It took a minute to get seated. We were seated maybe 6 inches from another couple. It was kind of awkward for both of us. Server was great! Food was delivered quick.
Excellent food, and the waiter's creative description even convinced my wife (a "green eggs and ham" person) to try skate wings (stingray), a first for her (she liked it). My trout had a Panko crust which added crunch while keeping the fish light. A black eye pea hummus appetizer was made interesting with the addition of pickled vegetables. The crab cake appetizer was also good. A minor negative is that the main room lacks any dividers between the very closely-packed tables. It makes the restaurant noise level pretty high. Happy I went, will go again.
We visited Wisteria for Valentine's Day date night and we could not have been more happy with our experience. Our server was an absolute gem. She went above and beyond our expectations. We will be returning for future visits.
- We made 8:30pm reservations for Valentine's Day and weren't seated until 9:15pm.
- Oysters were fine, but not remarkable.
- I ordered shrimp and grits which was littered with pieces of shell and overbearingly salty.
- My husband ordered a Valentine's special - lobster risotto. It was completely devoid of flavor. The lobster was overcooked and the risotto was one large, dry mass in the middle of the plate.
- Service at the front of the restaurant was absent and table service was rushed.
We won't be returning.
I was there most recently for Valentine's Day and chef Walker Brown created a wonderful special item menu for the evening in addition to the incredible items that are already on offer at the restaurant. Chef always has creative seasonal items and I've never been disappointed when dining here.
Great food and drinks!
We had a lovely dinner on Valentines evening. The food was great and the service perfect. My only complaint was that we felt rushed. Food came faster than a fast food restaurant. It was hot and fresh but there was zero time between courses. Would have been nice to be able to relax a bit more.
Food was very good.
Great service and tasty food. Perfect place to relax and enjoy your meal and company.
It was so crowded and so loud I couldn’t even hear my date across the table and the pork chops had no flavoring and it wasn’t good neither did the mashed potatoes and the fried oysters weren’t good and you only get 3. It was too tight and the tables were too close together. The mussels were good but I don’t want to go back their.
By far the best restaurant I’ve eaten at in Atlanta. Everything was extraordinary from the black eye pea hummus to the pork tenderloin to the unbelievable deserts.
Small. Loud. Crowded. Food was just ok. Was seated 25 minutes after our reservation time.
Service from waiter was great.
This is the second time we have been to Wisteria. It was even better than the last time we were there! The food was amazing with nice portions. They also have a gluten free version of the menu with lots of options. Would certainly go back!
The night started off great we were seated quickly. The service was good, wine list above average. I had the crab bisque for a appitizer and it was amazin got me super excited for the main course which was the lamb. It was terrible, no flavor and had been dried out. My date has the fried chicken but it tasted like fried fish. The manager came by and all he had was excuses excuses excuses . What he did not realize was my date was a local chef and has been cooking for over 10yrs so if she says it taste like the oil, pan, or breading was used for seafood I trust that. He told me that the lamb marinates in its own juices and he could see it glistening. Well I guess it marinated so long it dried out and the flavor was cooked off. We was sent here :) reason why I forgot the name under the reservation! Manager then was yelling at the waitress as if it was her fault and she seemed so flustered but she walked us out the car in the rain with a umbrella so she was the only thing good here besides the crab bisque. Terrible management!
Great food, lamb shank was amazing. Not a romantic venue but still good for dates.
Fantastic food. Great ambiance.
Great experience. Food and service were first class. Very nice ambiance. Always enjoy Wisteria!
Great food. But small portions. Service was outstanding
Food was amazing!
Amazing! We had a group of 9 and had excellent service and no problems with dividing checks at the end. Our waiter was outstanding and food was delicious.
The service was great, ambiance was good, but the food was just meh. The entrees specifically. It wasn't worth what we paid so I wouldn't recommend it to anyone or hurry back myself.
Special thanks to the GM Clifford who took such great care of us. Restaurant has great ambiance and the food was delicious. Would be a lovely place for a special event.
It was great overall
Reservation for 20, but ended up with 23--appreciated ability to accommodate our larger group. All the meals were delicious and the service was great considering the large size of our group and the Wisteria being not a large restaurant. Excellent value! We all enjoyed our business dinner at Wisteria.
It's not my intent to beat up on Wisteria, but we've dined in local places we've enjoyed far more for the same or less money. This was our 5th time dining there, but our first time in more than 3 years. Now I remember why we've chosen to eat elsewhere so many times in the interim. This time around I tried the quail, entree portion. Unfortunately, it was a bit overdone, and the portion small. Salads were flavorful and visually appealing. The crab cake starter was probably the best crab cake we've ever had anywhere, but definitely modest in size. This is definitely a not a shareable starter. My wife's prime rib was good, but nothing exceptional. Her dessert was fair, mine was good. Overall, just a bit of an uneven experience with respect to flavor, preparation, and portion size. Service was really very nice. Our server definitely enhanced the overall experience. Value was not impressive. Two salads, one drink, one starter, two entrees, and two desserts rang in at $139. If flavor had been exceptional I wouldn't quibble about the prices vs portion size. Neither of us bears ill will towards Wisteria, but I doubt we'll be back. There are just too many better places to eat in Atlanta for the money.
Get the featured item. I had a salad which was the featured item...yes a salad...which was life changing. So many wonderful flavors with their fried chicken. Great take on updating so many southern favorites.
