We go to Wisteria at least once when we come to Atlanta for the gift show. They never disappoint. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. My trout was so moist and very well seasoned. The pork tenderloin and all the trimmings had not a drop left on the plate. The shrimp and grits was excellent. Their skillet fried chicken was a big hit.
My only complaint is the noise level. It’s very hard to have a conversation without shouting at the person next to you or across the table.
Amazing! Great food and atmosphere.
First night of our January work week in ATL and our usual date night to kick off the week. So many good restaurants in ATL to choose from and Wisteria remains at the top of our list. Tonight it was Wisteria at it’s finest. First of all the restaurant was busy but not packed so it was not as noisy as it can be. We had a window table removed from the back so it was enjoyable to see the people on the street. Rebekah was our server and she was new to us but with her charm she is going to develop a following at Wisteria and we compliment her. We did not know Rodney Strong winery produced a rose so with the Merlot to go law in effect we purchased a bottle, had some delicious wine with our meal and carried the rest back to our room. The pork tenderloin, one of my husband’s favorites here was excellent. I had a side of roasted Brussel sprouts, simply done, nothing fancy and very good. I also had the crab cake which was served on a bed of very tasty corn hash with light dollops of remoulade and what appeared to be a ground basil dipping oil that was delicious and a different accompaniment with the crab cake that worked well. Once again Wisteria, a well served meal and we may have to squeeze in another meal here during our hectic week. BTW splurge on dessert. They are small portions and the blood orange basil granita, banana pudding and chocolate torte finished off another good meal. Thank you Wisteria.
It was okay. I wasn’t blown away by the food, but maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. I had the shrimp & grits.
This was probably my 5th or 6th time eating here and unfortunately, probably my last. For $140 (2 people) there are so many better food options in Atlanta. My wife had the almond crusted trout which had very little flavor along with the succotash. I had the steak which was cooked to the correct temperature but also lacked flavor as well. Seems time for the menu to refresh as it doesn’t looked like it has had much of an overhaul over the past 4-5 years. First time eating here was back in 2010/2011 which I believe was a different chef.
Fried Chicken can’t be beat!! Salads are unique and tasty. Service impeccable from Christian down to the bus staff.
Natalie was our waitress and she was awesome! Great food! Cool atmosphere.
A very enjoyable experience all around. Really loved the pumpkin hush puppies, the crab bisque and the Mac & cheese. Beef tenderloin was good but not a standout. The small desserts were creative and just the right size. Cocktails and wine offerings were great. Service was friendly and attentive.
Wisteria is one of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta. The atmosphere, the service, the wine menu, and the food are all wonderful. My all-time favorite dish that I order every time is the crab cake. It is so tender, filled with lump meat and the flavoring is excellent. I'm from Maryland so I know what a crab cake should taste like. All the entrees are delicious and beautifully presented. I like the portion sizes as well. If you are coming to visit Atlanta, this restaurant is a must. You will not be disappointed.
A fun New Year’s Eve! Our food was excellent although my entree was not hot. Nonetheless, everything else was en pointe.
NYE celebration. Always enjoy Wisteria!
Excellent Rack of lamb. My husband said it was the best he could ever remember having. The Skate wing was excellent too. Our waitress was outstanding and the whole experience was wonderful for. An early New Years Eve Dinner
The ambiance was on point for my anniversary and the bartender whipped up something special to sip on as we ate.
Service..... amazing. Bartender and drinks were awesome. I would certainly go back for a nice cocktail and atmosphere. Food was good quality, but flavor was something to be desired. Steak had little flavor. Meatballs were great. Mac and cheese was sweet, but more sugary than cheesy. Desserts were sweet, but nothing special. Ultimately, good quality food, but for the cost, should taste GREAT.
Very disappointed about the food. It lacked seasoning and was bland. Two different dishes out of 3 ordered were under seasoned.
Good food and service
Amazing experience as always. Great food. Great service. Highly recommend.
The best! It was quaint restaurant and romantic ambiance. The food was fabulous, we loved the bartender and it was just a wonderful experience start to finish. We can wait to go back there!
Wonderful pre-Christmas meal with relatives in town from Virginia. Always love coming here..great ambiance, great food, and easy to feel comfortable and leisurely with your meal. No rushing here...which is hard to find.
The food and service were top notch. Prices are in line with any better dining establishment in Atlanta.
Well trained bar tenders, very gracious wait person, but ... food was ordinary at best, and the lamb shank was especially poor ... weakly seasoned, excessively gooey, but actually cooked correctly in terms of temperature and tenderness. We did not expect gourmet, but certainly better than what was served.
Went to a concert at Variety Playhouse. I found Wisteria on Google Maps and am lucky I did. It was a five minute walk. The food was awesome and the place was clean and trendy. I highly recommend.
Everything was great. Food was delicious and hot (temperature). I had chicken and banana pudding. Both were great!
We've always loved Wisteria for their consistency. However, the skate wing was over cooked this time, which is not consistent with how it is usually prepared. We used to love the calamari. While it's still good, we didn't enjoy it as much as before. The Beef carpaccio was still superb!
Great food. Great service. Too quiet.
The service was NOT GOOD and it was a very slow night. It was a 50th Birthday Celebration
The restaurant has a lot of personality. Small, but interesting. Waiter was clueless. He put the appetizers on the table and walked away. We all sat there trying to figure out how we would eat them while holding the oversized menus in our hands. Im not sure why he acted surprised when I called him back to the table to take our order. 🤷🏻♀️
Chairs are small and slippery, so no slouching!
Food was good, but not exceptional.
I had the lamb shank which was not very interesting, but the brussel sprouts were remarkable.
We eat at Wisteria quite often and are never disappointed. We celebrated my husband’s 50th birthday (party of 14) over the weekend. As always, food and service were fantastic! Wait staff was accommodating and made the evening special. Thanks for a great night!
We had a great table in the middle of the restaurant for six adults to celebrate the holidays. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The wine and alcohol was typically priced higher for a midtown to Buckhead type restaurant. The service provider was good, but a new waiter and took a while to bring out the bread and refill our water. Overall, a great evening with friends and good food and adequate service.
Wisteria is a true neighborhood gem! I loved the light crispy cornmeal fried calamari, shrimp and grits, and an ample side of mac and cheese. We went at the beginning of a busy Saturday night and our server, Mitchell, was professional, attentive, accurate, and efficient. The dining area is medium sized and intimate and colorful paintings from a local artist add to the ambience. Valet parking is complimentary and convenient. Overall, it was a fabulous experience to celebrate a family birthday, but we plan to make it part of our regular restaurant rotation. Can't wait to dine here again and try more dishes on the menu!
We continue to enjoy a wonderful presentation and exciting specials as WISTERIA never disappoints.
Some of the dishes were good some were mediocre at best. Sadly. The service was quite bad. Dropped dishes multiple times. 3 different service people attending our table and multiple times finished plates left on our table.
Birthday! Loved our waitress and how she let us taste wines!
Service was great and food was excellent. We will definitely be back.
Incredible trout and skate. The Mac and cheese is killer
Great experience and wonderful food! Excellent wine selection.
Great small southern restaurant with unique choices. Really good combinations with quiet atmosphere. However, seating is very tight and despite a quieter atmosphere, can feel loud because tables are so close together. Also, entrees are a little pricey, more $$$ than the current $$ rating.
Our server was awesome and gave us the right amount of attention. We bought a bottle of wine and it exceeded our expectations ! Good portions and unique profile of flavors! We enjoyed our time and will definitely be back.
Great in every way
