The restaurant has a lot of personality. Small, but interesting. Waiter was clueless. He put the appetizers on the table and walked away. We all sat there trying to figure out how we would eat them while holding the oversized menus in our hands. Im not sure why he acted surprised when I called him back to the table to take our order. 🤷🏻♀️
Chairs are small and slippery, so no slouching!
Food was good, but not exceptional.
I had the lamb shank which was not very interesting, but the brussel sprouts were remarkable.
We eat at Wisteria quite often and are never disappointed. We celebrated my husband’s 50th birthday (party of 14) over the weekend. As always, food and service were fantastic! Wait staff was accommodating and made the evening special. Thanks for a great night!
We had a great table in the middle of the restaurant for six adults to celebrate the holidays. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The wine and alcohol was typically priced higher for a midtown to Buckhead type restaurant. The service provider was good, but a new waiter and took a while to bring out the bread and refill our water. Overall, a great evening with friends and good food and adequate service.
Wisteria is a true neighborhood gem! I loved the light crispy cornmeal fried calamari, shrimp and grits, and an ample side of mac and cheese. We went at the beginning of a busy Saturday night and our server, Mitchell, was professional, attentive, accurate, and efficient. The dining area is medium sized and intimate and colorful paintings from a local artist add to the ambience. Valet parking is complimentary and convenient. Overall, it was a fabulous experience to celebrate a family birthday, but we plan to make it part of our regular restaurant rotation. Can't wait to dine here again and try more dishes on the menu!
We continue to enjoy a wonderful presentation and exciting specials as WISTERIA never disappoints.
Some of the dishes were good some were mediocre at best. Sadly. The service was quite bad. Dropped dishes multiple times. 3 different service people attending our table and multiple times finished plates left on our table.
Birthday! Loved our waitress and how she let us taste wines!
Service was great and food was excellent. We will definitely be back.
Incredible trout and skate. The Mac and cheese is killer
Great experience and wonderful food! Excellent wine selection.
Great small southern restaurant with unique choices. Really good combinations with quiet atmosphere. However, seating is very tight and despite a quieter atmosphere, can feel loud because tables are so close together. Also, entrees are a little pricey, more $$$ than the current $$ rating.
Our server was awesome and gave us the right amount of attention. We bought a bottle of wine and it exceeded our expectations ! Good portions and unique profile of flavors! We enjoyed our time and will definitely be back.
Great in every way
Their service and food is always impeccable. It’s a favorite spot!
One of the best dinners I’ve had in a very long time! Salad, entree and wine were all outstanding. Excellent service too.
Our whole experience was outstanding. The food and service were excellent and it was a great place to catch up with friends. Enjoyable ambiance but with a noise level that allows you to have conversations you can hear. I hadn’t been here in a while, but will go back sooner rather than later, it was very enjoyable.
Very disappointed by the quality of the food, apart from the scallops starter.
Prawns and grits was tasteless and deep fried chicken worse than KFC !!
Shame as ambience and service good.
Cute and quaint little place in VA Highlands. Sat at the bar, bartender was great and interactive with good suggestions. Shared the shrimp and grits which was a good sized portion and very tasty. Loved the atmosphere, definitely will go back!
We had a wonderful time and the bartender who was our server was great!
Service was great and so was the food. We had lobster bisque, deviled eggs, beef tenderloin, and the lamb shank. All were excellent. Their specialty cocktails are also quite good. We had a quiet table at the front window. Quite cozy and private. It was an anniversary and we were met at our table with 2 glasses of complementary Prosecco!
Limited options on menu but most bases were covered. The waitress was extremely good. However the fellow that seated us was snooty. He was not the full time host. Perhaps that job was below his pay grade.
The food was very tasty and the service was excellent!
I would say the service was ok and not what I have grown used with this restaurant
Cozy little restaurant with big taste! Every dish was excellent even down to the veggie plate! Restaurant is a little tight on space but will be a favorite!
Best food, great service, overall wonderful dining experience!
Great location, amazing staff and excellent meal. Cozy, beautiful and a bit hip.
I was looking for a restaurant with some southern charm that could provide seating for 11 on short notice. I came across Wisteria, which had very good reviews, so I went ahead and booked, even though none of my group had ever been there. We were all extremely pleased with everything Wisteria had to offer. From the atmosphere to the service to the fantastic meals... it all exceeded our expectations!
The service was exceptional and the atmosphere was nice, but a little noisy. We had very good food and great desserts. The pork tenderloin was probably our favorite dinner dish and the pumpkin hushpuppies were an outstanding appetizer. We will go back for sure.
Entrees were great. Salads ok- but must change bread offering- they were awful
Very noisy- even at 5:30 - never eat this early but needed an early place prior to theater
Excellent meal and service. Very comfortable but rather loud. Good cocktails.
Amazing lamb. Fantastic service. Consistent.
The calamari was overcooked and lacking in flavor and the skate was drowning in oil and butter. There was nothing interesting about any of the dishes.
This was a recommendation from a friend who said Wysteria had some of the best fried chicken in town. Well the menu was so great that my husband and I ended up getting other things on the menu so we'll have to return for the fried chicken. I got trout and my husband got the skate wing, and they were both DELICIOUS. And the scallop appetizer was also out of this world- so much flavor in every bite. And the service was wonderful. I can't wait to come back and try everything on the menu.
Inventive cuisine using local ingredients without breaking the bank. Wisteria never disappoints!
Everything we had was great. I also like the cozy atmosphere. It's nice without being pretentious.
My fiance and I were very impressed with the interior of the restaurant. We loved the intimate setting, the food was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent! We also loved the fact that there was parking available.
This is an old neighborhood standard that like a fine wine or a diamond, just gets better with age. The staff is always warm and welcoming. The food is some of the best in the city! Ssshhhh, don't tell anyone. Locals love it and I have kept returning for over a decade. We are so lucky to have this little gem of a place in Inman Park. Thanks to Jason and his staff for maintaining quality and kindness when other restaurants in the same neighborhood do not!
Delicious innovative southern cuisine.
Excellent food and service. Wine selection good. Great one of a kind place. Just a bit pricey.
