Perfect For:
  • Special Occasion
  • Good for Anniversaries
  • Good for a Date
At Wing Lei, rising star chef Ming Yu masterfully blends the flavors of China with Western technique to create a singularly delicious cuisine. Its just one delectable reason this is the only Chinese restaurant in North America to be recognized with the prestigious Forbes Five-Star Award. The seduction begins as you enter this exotic space, dressed in glimmering glass, tiger onyx, mother-of-pearl and gold accents. The décor, with its curved lines and rich gold accents, is meant to evoke the idea of 1930’s Shanghai. Every inch of this restaurant has been meticulously planned and lovingly crafted, from the ultra-plush, deep tapestry chairs and to the gold-tipped black chopsticks that grace the table settings. Large picture windows look onto a charming outdoor garden, replete with two 100-year old pomegranate trees. Despite all of the grandeur, the haute Chinese menu remains the focus, with its luxurious mix of Cantonese, Shanghai and Sichuan specialties.

Overall I really enjoyed my experience at wing lei. The food was EXTREMELY expensive for what they provide but the appetizer offerings were interesting and tasty. I did think that the food was just great Chinese food though. Service is the best part of this restaurant, hands down.

One of the most beautiful ambiances I've ever experienced. Food was very good, I thought a bit overhyped, but still not a disappointment. Service was great, and price is reasonable for the reputation it has.

Excellent excellent dining experience! Food, as always, is amazing. The staff is so friendly and hospitable...feels like being cooked for by a family. For anyone walking into Wing Lei for the first time...it is elegant and beautiful. That said, I am nostalgic for its original, warm, red decor. We’ll be back!...red or gilded!

This restaurant lived up to the many reviews from local and generic press releases. Pros: Beautiful execution, attentive service and lovely ambiance. The sea bass was amazing and very flavorful. Cons: Appetizers and main dishes were cold; no one enjoys cold dumplings. All the main dishes were tepid and not quite enough to share properly. And for the expense, I was not overwhelmed. If you are going high end Chinese cuisine, everything should be near perfect!

Great Asian fusion based upon Cantonese Chinese cuisine. Quiet and out of the way in an enormous casino/hotel, the food was awesome (marinated abalone was out of this world!) and the service attentive but unobtrusive.

We had eaten at Wing Lei a couple of years ago, and decided to revisit this special dining spot at Wynn & Encore on our last evening in Las Vegas. The broad menu offers plenty of options, and there were also some specials explained. We decided on a trio of appetizers that included a Shrimp Toast, an Avocado & Crab circular cake, and another tasty bite. Before that, a small lagniappe of caviar, crab, watercress on toast was presented -- and disappeared, putting a smile on our faces. For the entree, we ordered the Peking Duck (a half order, not on the menu, but accessible) to share. The crispy skinned duck was carved table side: some duck and green onions wrapped into three crepes for each of us, and a bowl of a dark, thick sauce; the waiter then explained the remaining duck would be chopped up in the kitchen and returned to us. Watch out for the bones! We did a fair job of finishing the bird. And a small cheesecake with a candle came to light the birthday girl's face. Following that, they still offered a metal pedestal with small chocolates and pastries. You'll be pampered at Wing Lei with servers in white gloves making sure your every need is attended to. And ladies, your purses will be resting on their own special seat next to your chair. How the waitstaff has to dance in, and around, the purse rests is amazing. NOTE: Next to us, a Chinese couple ordered Red Snapper dish that had a beautiful presentation. It made me want to book another night in Vegas, just to try that fish dish. Beautiful decor. The music suites the setting, too. You can carry on a conversation without having to strain your vocal chords. Try Wing Lei's comfortable dining room for a special, or any occasion.
