Wineworks For Everyone
Based on the philosophy that premium ingredients handled skillfully will yield the best dishes, Wineworks For Everyone in Mission Viejo, CA emphasizes locally sourced and seasonal ingredients, minimally prepared. All dishes are selected to pair well with the wines in the cellar, and Wineworks For Everyone even received special recognition for its wine service.
The menu at Wineworks For Everyone changes often but will include starters and shareable plates such as fromage blanc fondue, fresh salads, calamari or a unique crudo plate. There is a gourmet cheese board at all times, as well as charcuterie options. Entres will always include seafood, poultry and meat dishes.
We always enjoy Wineworks. We love the short ribs, the fish dishes, the lamb, the amazing brie fondue+pears, the bread pudding -- nothing has disappointed us yet. But what really makes a trip to Wineworks so nice is the people who work there--attentive, warm, smart about wine/food, funny with a genuine commitment to hospitality. I think it's worth pointing out the contrast between the exteriors and interiors of this restaurant and its sister restaurant, Dublin 4, next door. It's very easy to overlook these two when driving past the rather ordinary retail/office center where they reside. It's not bad, just kind of invisible. But inside, you're in for a pleasant surprise. The two restaurants have a very different feel from one another, with Wineworks (you guessed it) a modern wine bar + gourmet American-fare restaurant, and Dublin 4 a gastro pub, w/ dressed up versions of pub food but many more sophisticated dishes. Mission Viejo, a very family-focused 'burb, has few extraordinary restaurants just for adults. So Wineworks and Dublin 4 are rarities there .... perfect for happy hour, a date, & nights when Mom & Dad need to escape the kids.
Great meal and just had lots of sharing plates. Wines were yummy too. Neededore ac on but could have been broken as door was open in a heat wave. Will go back
Nice romantic place for a special occasion. Good selection of wines and unique appetizers.
Great food and excellent selection of wines. I can be a little too noisy especially if a couple of large parties are seated nearby.
It's my first time here. But I've been to Dublin4 a few times and my comment will be the same for both. I wish they will have more vegan/vegetarian options on their menu. I will probably come more often. The cocktail drink I had was superb.
best food in Orange County! Love the owner and his wife. Service is always great.
Had the usual great service and tasty food!
A wonderful date night experience with the wife as usual. This is one of our favorite spots!!
Have been here and next door over fort times. Always clean and service is good. Brussel sprouts were outstanding. Shoestring fries average and hamburger average and small.
Very nice menu to have in additional to the pub next door who share the same kitchen. Very comfortable dining and attentive staff. Of course the food is outstanding.
Fun time with our large ladies birthday group! Great food, wine and our server was awesome! Closed the place down!
We've been here a couple of times and really love the place. The service is outstanding, it's just quiet enough to bring my Dad along (he can't hear if it's too raucous) but still a good atmosphere. I've had the amazing short ribs, very good sea bass. Also enjoyed the appetizers, especially the brie fondue w/fresh pear and bread. Wineworks and the Dublin 4 gastro pub next door (both operated by the same people) are hidden gems in an unlikely location.
Great food. Excellent service.
Service was too slow. Under staffed.
Love my visits to Wineworks For Everyone! It is THE best place to enjoy stimulating conversation with great wine and food selections! You MUST go!
We went to celebrate Fathers Day
Amazing !!!! Service was great and the food is truly exceptional
I ordered the salmon and it was the best salmon I've ever had. My husband got the pork and it was delicious as well. We ahd an appetizer and salad and were happy with everything.
Wineworks is exceptional! In every way!
We were there for 3.5 hours but planned to be there 90mins. It took 30 mins to get a menu, another 30 to order wine then 30 more to order appetizer, then more to order dinner. They looked gravely understaffed. We asked to taste a wine and got so little in the tasting glass that only two people could take a tiny sip to decide the bottle order for the table.
There were boxes of wine laying around the floor reducing the seating available but there weren’t enough servers to handle the tables they did seat. Water was not replenished and the table next to us wasn’t bussed for 30 mins after the party left.
Disappointing visit to say the least.
Good restaurant! Good food. Short of staff on night we visited so service was slow. Great wines.... martini not good. Didn’t come in a martini glass and was obviously shaken but there were bubbles in it? And not cold. Not good and I called the vodka.
I’ll definitely go back and have wine only, not a martini. Hopefully, service will be much better.
Love the burger, best in town
I took my wife there on a date. It was fantastic. Food was amazing especially the cheese fondue appetizer. We let our seasoned waitress pick out a perfect pairing wine and it was great too. We took an Uber there because parking can be tight and we were able to finish our wine with no concerns. Can't wait to go back.
Went there on a first date and told the hostess we wanted something where we could have a little privacy. They sat us at a high top table with a bunch of other people and it was so loud. We ended up moving to the front of the room and sat at the bar and that was better. Wine was great, service was great. We didn't have food so I can't comment on that.
I have been going here since it opened, many years ago. I highly recommend trying this place out!
Always great food, wine and people
We hadn't been there in a couple of years - always go to Dublin 4 next door. The food was amazing, wine great. The mussels with truffle thyme fries is delicious. Darren, the owner, is always there saying hi and making sure you're having a good experience. Saturday night and it was packed, so we had to wait a few minutes for our table, but ordered glasses of wine (and my husband ordered a martini which they brought from the full bar at Dublin 4). Will return again soon.
Perfect restaurant, very civilized, outstanding food, outstanding service; one word of caution, not the place for the loud, rowdy, or wanna-be's.
An amazing experience every single time. Great food, ambience and decor.
Wonderful as always, that’s why we always choosr Wineworks!
Awesome as always!
Food was good but very small portions. Parking is very limited.
A very nice place - small but that's not a bad thing, you can carry on a conversation there without yelling over loud music or other chatter. Lot's of interesting wines, food is always good. Usually service is very good, seemed like we waited a long time to get attention to order. Server was knowledgeable about the wine choices and we ended up with something everyone liked. We'll go again and recommend it if you want a quiet place where you'll find very good food and some wines you won't find everywhere.
Love the food and wine selection. Always find new wines to like. Love how reasonable the pricing is.
Nice spot for a birthday!
A true neighborhood gem! The food was fantastic. I had the pork tenderloin... it was the best I’ve had yet! My husband had the chicken and our friends had the sea bass and short ribs. Everyone was raving about the taste and quality of their food. For desert we had cream brûlée.... also fantastic.
Love this place... Will keep coming back for sure. A little pricey but it's an elevated dining experience.
Birthday dinner. Superb wine list. I had lamb, he had short ribs. Both were cooked to perfection and wonderful. Dessert of creme brûlée was a great finish. Our waitress, Jill, was the best.
Look forward to our next visit.
Food was great and drinks were perfect!
Darren and his staff always do a wonderful job! Their rack of lamb was amazing!
We have been coming to Wine Works for years and it is our favorite local restaurant. The service is warm attentive and friendly and the food is amazing. We are addicted to the Brie fondue appetizer and if I’m not devouring equally addictive short rib dinner we order the burger and wine special for happy hour which is without a doubt the best deal in town. And the Wine Works burger is to die for, so juicy, perfectly seasoned and decadent with its gourmet toppings including Brie. You might expect a very low end wine to be included with with a burger and wine special, but I always thoroughly enjoy whatever wine they choose. In another life I sold fine wines so I’m very picky about my wine but Wine Works never disappoints. Overall a Five star experience close to home, what more could you ask for?
