Winewood Ratings and Reviews
This was my Valentines Day dinner. The food was phenomenal! We were seated promptly according to my reservation time. The only downside to our meal was a waitress that seemed less than helpful and at times rude. Other than one person likely just having an off day, it was a great experience!
Have been here for Sunday brunch and had great service and food. Came here for Valentine’s Day this time and experience was bad. Our salads had wrong dressing on the first try and on the second try correct dressing was on the salads, not on the side as ordered. Both chicken dishes were over cooked. Brookie for dessert was like dry chocolate cake, not like brownie as described by waiter. We had difficulty getting service throughout the meal. All in all-very disappointing. We know Valentines Day is a usually a good day to avoid restaurants, but we took a chance based on Sunday brunch experience. Won’t make that mistake again!
The food was absolutely amazing! I had the WAGU Strip. I am usually pretty hard to please when it comes to a steak from a resturaunt. It was hands down the best steak I have ever eaten.
My wife had the chicken cordon bleu, it was fantastic as well.
The staff is top notch! Super friendly and helpful!
Winewood is rated #1 in my book!
Great service - good food though our potato/hashbrowns with our brunch menu meal were cold - for all of us.
We made reservations and our party of 8 with two highchairs for babies was put on the "enclosed patio". There was space between each piece of window glass and the cold outside air could be felt through the spaces. The waiter showed us how the windows could be turned on a hinge to be "open" on nice days. Well, on a cold day it wasn't the most comfortable place to be!
Have always liked the food here. First time to make a reservation. Disappointing that some of our guests food was served cold and the room was cold but that's the way it goes sometimes.
Winewood is a very nice and upscale dinner place. All our food was very good, and we even had to have one dish corrected (wrong side dish). They replated the dish almost immediately, so we were all impressed. The service was great and our waiter was very engaging and never rushed us to turn the table. The main drawback for Winewood is the "volume". It is designed as open concept and that works against this establishment. Two of our party could not even hear what the waiter was saying and I even had to make a major effort to hear him. So needless to say our conversations were very limited while having our dinner. But now I know everything about the people at the table behind me since the yelled everything due to the noise! LOL
Pricey. I ordered the filet, it was under cooked (ordered medium and came out very rare) and had to be sent back. My husband ordered the strip steak, also came out under cooked, and had to be sent back. The rest of our party ate while we waited. Finally, our plates came back out, but my husband had the same onion strings he had started with and they were cold.
This experience was only okay, and will think twice about coming back here or choosing another restaurant.
Made a reservation, and since a busy Saturday night, parking was crazy which resulted in being 15mins late for reservation. Despite tardiness, no wait. Quickly seated at the table. Every food item was awesome. Crab cakes, Napa wedge salad, and Rack of lamb. Definitely will return. Noise level is high, but nothing too unbearable.
Appetizers, stick with the Bruschetta, stay away from crab cakes (dry, small and bland).
Wine was obviously good.
Of the 3 entrees only 1 was decent. So, stay with what you like to normally order and do not set expectations too high. Price is normal for the area but pricey for the value and quality.
Location good, service good, ambiance good.
Brunch was a delight. The sunny dining area and robust menu made for a great Sunday am. The brunch cocktail menu pricing was inviting and the fruit salads were delicious. Waitstaff was attentive. One member of our party returned a cut of meat because it was overdone, but it was remedied without issue. The dining experience was great.
Very sophisticated but cozy atmosphere. We love booths and they have a nice variety of them!
Our rack of lamb and steak were fabulous. Our children are always happy with their menu when they are with us.
Great wine & beer list too!
John, our waiter is very knowledgeable and gave us wonderful service!!
Thank you for a beautiful evening Winewood!!
I keep coming back time after time anytime someone suggests brunch. Make sure you make a reservation or you will be waiting for a while. Mid to high range pricing but 3$ mimosas make up for it. Jazz brunch inside and a closed in patio section outside. It can get noisy, everyone is having a good time. Food is standard with a twist: jalapeno bacon maple syrup with your chicken and waffles, chipotle hollandaise for your Benedict, bacon in your Mac n cheese, teuffle oil on yiur fries and sirloin on your bruschetta for some tasty and recommended examples.
Absolutely would recommend it if you are in the area, service is hit or miss but usually always friendly, order your drinks before you finish the one you've got they stay busy at the bar. Can accommodate 2 people or 20 in my experience. Definitely a great find
