Once again we had a great meal with fabulous service. We liked that our server was knowledgeable about the menu and the drinks. We live in Oklahoma and come to Grapevine regularly. Cannot wait to come back. You will not be sorry to visit Winewood.
Overall a good lunch for a group of foodies. Good variety. Only negative was the music level in the Patio area
the swordfish was perfectly prepared., it was recommended by our server, Jackson
he was telling the truth truly the best seafood restaurant around
Very overpriced. Food ok but not something to write home about. We will not be going again.
The jazz ensemble lent a great vibe to the casual and fun atmosphere. The food on the brunch menu was fantastic!
Best lamb in this area! You might find a server as good as John somewhere, but you won't find one better.
This was our third time at Winewood and each time just gets better. We love the ambiance and the variety of the dishes is superb without being ostentatious and stuffy. Lovely place to dine.
Extremely friendly staff and great food
We’ve been to Winewood several times, but our friends had never been and they loved it!! My only complaint is the noise level, so you find yourself talking louder. Other than that the service is impeccable, the food is delicious as are the drinks & dessert!
Service and cocktails were very good. My wife had salmon, my son had swordfish and I had ribeye steak. They both gave high marks to their main courses and sides. The swordfish and mac and cheese were especially good.
My steak was quite tasty and a perfect medium rare. Unfortunately, the steak was also quit fulll of gristle, and quite chewy. For desert I highly recommend the apple crisp.
We will probably go again, but I’ll try something other than the steak.
Food was good but not great for the price, my salmon was a little over cooked and dry.
Great job! Great place
Food was really good with a diverse menu everyone should be able to find something that captures their attention. Service was spot on, no unnecessary interruptions and never having to track someone down. I will definitely add to my list of favorites for future visits to the area
Great food stunning wine list good wait staff and food was really really outstanding. Great restaurant for business, fun, ir date night!
Seafood was great. Chilean sea bass, crab cakes and shrimp. The steak tenderloin $35 was too tough and not enjoyable at all. Very disappointed. The wine was overpriced at $70 per for a $20 bottle. Bread was served at $4 extra for 4 breadsticks. How in the world can you charge for bread when your bill is already $350? Will not visit again unless someone else is paying.
I've been to Winewood for brunch several times and it has always been a good experience. The food is good, the service is good and the bloody mary's are excellent...But, if you are going to Sunday Brunch, you will need reservations or face a 30 minute wait.
Food was excellent, and prices for the food was reasonable. The wine selection was outstanding, however, a little on the pricey side. Restaurant is a bit noisy with the open kitchen, but overall I would highly recommend Winewood, and will return!
Our whole experience from start to end was enjoyable! The food was amazing and the service was friendly.
Tried this restaurant for the first time with family and future in-laws. We are thinking of holding the rehearsal dinner here. The food was amazing, the service was excellent, and the patio (where we would have the dinner) had a very nice atmosphere. The only downside was that it was quite noisy as there were two parties going on in the same room. But they seemed to be having a fabulous time, too! Our party, however, will be the only one in the room so I am sure it will be great. We are looking forward to coming back here for our kids' special event!
Not the greatest place for a steak. I don't believe they service prime grade beef, only choice. I ordered the 8 oz filet and although it came in a brandy sauce it was still a little low on flavor and not very tender. Ordered Manhattans for cocktails and they kept switching back to regular maraschino cherries instead of the Luxardo brand. It really ruined a good drink.
The food was good but not as good as it was the last time we came here. The appetizer came very fast and was tasty. We split a wedge salad, and it was plenty for two. Our main courses were just ok. There was another server who did a great job of keeping our water glass filled. The restaurant was very busy and very LOUD. We sat together in the booth so that we could talk without having to yell.
First time dining at this establishment and was very impressed with the decor, the service, and the meal. I ordered and 8-ounce beef filet and my companion ordered a dinner entree salad, both were very good. I also ordered a side of bacon wrapped string beans which had a bit of a spicy kick and I thought they were delicious. The meal was so good that we decided to forgo dessert in favor of finishing our drinks. If in this area again I would definitely return for another meal.
The Wagyu steak that I had was a bit tough and not nearly as tender as other Wagyu that I have had. The flavor was OK but again a bit tough.
My husband and I frequent this restaurant, both in the bar and in the dining areas and have never had an issue until today. In fact, both food and service have been consistently excellent and my last review of Winewood was 5 stars.
Today we were celebrating 2 family birthdays and were a group of 8 people (not a huge group and no little kids).
The food was excellent as it is every time, although very slow to come out during a time when they weren’t crowded. The service overall was close to horrible today because the waiter was completely inattentive. He’s not new to the restaurant either, so I’m not sure what the issue was. However, our table was obviously not important to him. I chose the restaurant because we love it and it was almost embarrassing since the rest of my family hadn’t been there before.
If this had been our first time at Winewood, we wouldn’t be going back.
Great Service, The food was excellent, Looking forward to coming Back👍🏽
Great Food and very good Service. Very nice evening.
Love coming here nice staff, great food!
They have the best brunch! Prices are really good as well. My husband and I are always pleasantly surprised when we get the bill since we always expect it to be higher.
Brandy is a great waitress. She's always attentive and I never worry about anything going wrong with my orders. The prime rib at brunch is my all time favorite. The kid's menu is also excellent.
We came for Sunday brunch and loved it. Great food great service and wonderful ambience. We had a wonderful experience! Definitely recommend this place to anyone and we will be going back for a date soon.
Everything was excellent. Great service.
One of our favorite go to places for special occasions. On weekends be sure and make a reservation early. They fill up quickly.
This was my Valentines Day dinner. The food was phenomenal! We were seated promptly according to my reservation time. The only downside to our meal was a waitress that seemed less than helpful and at times rude. Other than one person likely just having an off day, it was a great experience!
Service and food was excellent. was a bit too noisy for a nice night out, but restaurant was very crowded.
Server was fantastic and very knowledgeable made Valentine's all that much better food was delicious we had the lamb and the duck both were spectacular our server even had wine pairings in mind for the items.
Have been here for Sunday brunch and had great service and food. Came here for Valentine’s Day this time and experience was bad. Our salads had wrong dressing on the first try and on the second try correct dressing was on the salads, not on the side as ordered. Both chicken dishes were over cooked. Brookie for dessert was like dry chocolate cake, not like brownie as described by waiter. We had difficulty getting service throughout the meal. All in all-very disappointing. We know Valentines Day is a usually a good day to avoid restaurants, but we took a chance based on Sunday brunch experience. Won’t make that mistake again!
Excellent service and delicious food as always!
Absolutely phenomenal service from Nate. He knew everything about the menu and was very professional.
When I made my reservation,I stated that it was a birthday celebration. Not expecting anything other than an acknowledgement ,didn't happen. We shared an appetizer and I had a glass of wine, then ordered an entree for my grandson.Being vegan and female I ordered soup and a salad and the waiter asked" Is that all?"really wasn't appropriate. Bread was not offered with either of those options. When he asked if there was anything else he could do,I said come bread would be nice and he stated there was nothing he could do. We shared key lime pie and I had coffee. It was a lot of money for a mediocre experience.
