Amazing services for a birthday dinner. We truly enjoyed our food and the wine. Thank you!
Amazing gem! Our food was delicious and our server was superb!
This is my third time at Wine30 - everything is exactly what you want from a night out, whether that's with your friends, significant other, first date or family (sans kiddos). The patio outback is the stuff made of dreams, especially during the era of year-round outdoor dining. Wait service is high caliber, very knowledgeable about the wine menu and highly attentive. I would recommend to locals or folks passing through town.
We love this place. It is our neighborhood go to restaurant. We order many of the tapas and share a main dish with the 3 assorted vegetables dish. Always good service food and setting. Dinner and brunch always good.
It was my first time back at the restaurant since pre-pandemic and was so happy to be back here. The outdoor garden is open now, which is awesome! The food is always solid and the service was great! I can’t wait to go back.
Surprising delicious. Low key. A gem, I must say. Thanks very much.
Went for outdoor seating in garden, only to find the retractible roof had been closed. We declined due to air circulation concerns. Offered seating in the front of the restaurant, but the atmosphere was terrible due to scaffolding and street noise. We will hopefully go when the garden is open again.
Excellent wine selection, the appetizers are fantastic. The courtyard provides a stellar atmosphere, whether you are a couple or a group. Highly recommend.
A gem in Murray Hill. Love the backyard garden
Made a reservation Friday afternoon for dinner on Friday. I had to put a cc down for a no show. $20/pp Went to dinner Friday night. Checked in with the host and they sat me and I was enjoying my meal. 10 minutes before we got our check i noticed a charge of $40 to my credit card from the restaurant. We went up to the host and they marked us as “no show” and now they said they have no way of refunding me and a manager would reach out. The manager left me a voicemail on Saturday and i have tried calling the restaurant 5x and every time I’m told “he’s not in” i am from out of town and have no way of going to this restaurant in person. This was a complete SCAM. Do not give your CC. I’m lucky that i get notifications on my phone when my CC is charged or else this could have been missed.
We waited an hour for our plates. We got two apps and two entrees that came out by the hour mark. The servings are small and not really seasoned considering the menu price. The place was cute though.
All was a pleasant experience...
This experience was nothing like our last one. We opted to seated indoors, and the restaurant was oddly empty for that hour. They were playing fast energetic club music, which was loud and distracting - it didn't go with the romantic vibe of the restaurant and we asked them to change it. Our server, an obviously homophobic female, told us that that wasn't possible but turned down the music to a level where I didn't have to shout in order for my dining companion to hear me. She didn't go over any specials with us. We had both a drink menu and a dining menu in front of us and asked to order drinks. She immediately told us we could not order a drink until we ordered food. I had never heard of this in a restaurant. We didn't belly up to the bar looking for drinks. We wanted a drink first as we perused the menu. We quickly ordered cheese and some zucchini pancakes in order to get a drink. I asked for a bourbon. She asked me if I wanted it neat or on ice. I immediately responded neat. She brought back my bourbon on ice and I sent it back. It came back ice-cold - she had obviously pulled the ice cubes out. For any whisk(e)y lover, this is unacceptable because the water dilutes the alcohol and alters the flavor profile. I let it go because I didn't want to be unagreeable. She brought back the cheese plate, which looked nice, but obviously had cut up and toasted baguette AND what appeared to be (and tasted like) good old wonderbread white bread. The zucchini pancakes were not fresh and had that obvious "wrinkled" and flimsy appearance of an item having been microwaved. My date took one bite and hated it. We picked at the cheese plate, finished our drinks, and went to a fancy wine bar a few miles away. Our server glared at us as we held hands as we left the restaurant. The downside is that we will never come back to this place. The upshot is that we discovered a cozy and refined wine bar on the Upper West Side that had amazing wine and ambiance.
Had a great and safe time meeting with friends for outdoor brunch
Amazing service. Food was nice. And cute little patio
The atmosphere, drinks, service and the restaurant personnel were amazing. They were extremely kind, funny and answered our every question about the wine list. They have an amazing wine list and would definitely recommend everyone to go here. The backyard is a wonderful place to eat and enjoy. It is a little more expensive than usual so I would recommend going here on a special night.
Loved! Will return!
Bad experience overall, poor service and overporced
Great first or second date restaurant. The outside area is very nice the cellar is a plus but the staff does sometimes have to get to the bottles.
I went to wine30 for a prefix menu on valentines day. The food itself was so so but the server's attitude annoyed me. The server seemed like he was doing us a favor by serving us. He would ask us to reorganize things on the table for him to serve us food instead and at one point he was just dumping the food plates on the table instead of serving them with patience. If I am shelling out $80pp at a restaurant, I hope to be treated better.
We got lamb chops as an entree but they were undercooked. We sent them back and the ones that we got as a replacement were more undercooked than before when we had asked for them to be well done. How this happens, I am not sure. I liked the venue but wouldn't revisit the restaurant again because of the bad customer service and the fairly under impressive food.
Went for Valentine’s Day! We sat in the outdoor back patio which was cozy, warm and pretty 😊 The food was great and the staff were very attentive !
We got our appetizers roughly an hour after ordering. Mains came about 30 mins after. Moscow Mule tasted like vodka and lime juice, sans ginger beer (thus, not like a Moscow mule).
Waiter tried, but seemed new and never came to give update on food. Speaking of food, though, it was fairly good, which is the only reason this isn’t a lower rating.
Fantastic experience in this owner operated, independent neighborhood gem.
The outdoor dining is also spectacular and safe.
Highly recommend the mussels, fish dishes and pasta specials.
Very consistent, high quality fresh food and the staff is friendly and attentive
My new go favorite place in Nomad
Friday night was a busy night because it was like 40° and very comfortable to be sitting outside. However they didn’t call in any additional wait staff and it was just one guy being the maître d’ and serving.
He wasn’t asking who had a reservation and who didn’t so people were being sat ahead of people that had a reservation like me who did make a res online. Normally if you have to wait a little bit it’s no big deal, but when the restaurant closes at 10 it’s kind of nerve-racking when you have a reservation for 8:30 but you don’t get sat until around 8:50. When people are seated they need to tell them that they have 90 minutes because this affects the people that have reservations and that’s not right. But we understand they did their best. And he was clearly hustling but they should be aware of the timing.
Best miss let in NYC
Great food overall
Wine 30 is a high quality Bistro with great food, great wine list and great service. The covered backyard outdoor dining is warm enough during winter (covid outdoor dining). We’ve been twice and we’ll be back!
As always, the restaurant was warm and accommodating. However, this was the first time our food came out cold. And when we asked for it to be warmed up, we were told there was not enough time to do so (it was 8:45). Both plates were left untouched because the food was cold. That was disappointing!
Great food, huge wine by the glass/bottle selection, reasonably priced by city standards. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The outdoor patio set up was awesome and stayed super warm on a 30 degree night!
Excellent service, delicious food and great wine! Will come back definitely.
Basic overpriced food
Long wait time despite being the first of two tables in the whole place
I had a wonderful outdoor dining experience at Wine 30. The patio is absolutely lovely and well-heated. I started with the roasted beet mashed potatoes - simply amazing. The tuna nicoise salad was just lovely. And the chocolate chip skillet cookie was fantastic. The service was great and there's so much variety on the menu. I'll be returning very soon.
Birthday event and outdoor dining was great! Enough heaters and everyone enjoyed themselves.
We went New Years Eve and it was just as good as every other time. Food and wine were both great. Service was good. Outdoor patio was warm enough on a cooler night.
This is one of our favorite neighborhood restaurants.
Thanks for being open for the early celebration.
Fun & energetic atmosphere! Great for drinks & apps
During the COVID era, they still operate efficiently. The covered outdoor dining has plenty of outdoor air circulating, but heaters are on and diners are well-spaced. The food/drink menu is extensive, and the food was exceptional. We will definitely come back, and I wish them all the continued success.
fantasic place. service is excellent, always a good time
Always great service, and good wine recommendations
lovely, quit, back of the building outdoor dinning experience. the waiter was very nice and the food was very well prepared. we stayed there for more than 4 hours and keep ordering until almost dinner time.
I loved the place and the food is very good ambience
Awesome & Meaningful place to be. I’d recommend this place to everyone I know. I appreciated the hospitality. Treated very good nothing negative to say about the place. Food was really good. Drinks was a plus ! I’d come again for sure.
