A google search of the best wine bars in NYC came up and it did not disappoint. We had Brian as our server and he was ON. POINT. He told us about a wine special they had for a Brunello that was getting close to its end of life. We ended up getting 2 bottles and tried all the food recommendations he made too and everything was AMAZING. The short rib was fabulous and even down to the cheese recommendations were awesome. If the weather allows, sit out back, the ambience on the patio is fabulous!

When deciding where to meet for dinner, my friend requested that we sit outside with a glass of wine and share some charcuterie so we decided to try Wine30. Everything was great - lots of cheese and shareable/tapas-type eats. The ambiance is cozy and nice. Service was great. It was the absolute perfect place to go and sit outside on one of the last few nights of summer.

I booked this place based on the reviews so I feel I need to give a review so other people aren't led astray like I was. The location and place is lovely, however, the food is not! We order a bruschetta that was cold and burnt, muscles that we had to send back because they were bad, a crab cake that we couldn't eat because it was gone off but felt bad sending that back too, peppers which were tasteless and zucchini pancakes which were ok. Generally the food was bad or ok but having to spend $70 each and go home hungry isn't good! Won't be going back.

service was great. they accommodated a big group of us for a birthday. the outdoor back patio is beautiful! try to get a seat there if you can.

i only had the quinoa salad and that was okay. i'll have to try the other menu items to really rate their food, but my friends seemed to enjoy the food.

$3 pp for plating if you bring your own cake (for a birthday event).

Great food and service everytime we go! Even when it's pouring outside! Haha! We enjoyed the Margherita pizza, rolled cigars, and beef sliders for dinner! Always too full for dessert! Maybe next time! 😊

Very nice restaurant and the staff is very friendly and accommodating! We had the beef sliders, rolled cigars (prosciutto, sundried tomatoes, & basil), and three kinds of dip with homemade tortilla chips! We sat towards the back as it was cooler (my only suggestion is to dress cool because it's not a really cold place!) and drink lots of cold wine to cool off! The ceiling is creatively decorated from wine bottle corks! We will be back!!!! 😊

I've been to Wine 30 several times and it's always a great experience. I love coming here after work for a happy hour date with a friend. Great for a few glasses of wine a snack from their cheese menu or app list. They have a limited dinner menu, but everything I have ever ordered here was delicious. I also love sitting in the back garden area. The restaurant looks small from the front but is actually really roomy!

Loved this place. We went before a show at the Garden. It's within walking distance of the Garden without being too close and overcrowded as those places close to the venue. The menu is so varied it's hard to know what to choose. Everything we had was great. The front area is near the bar. The room behind is more quiet and the garden in back is very pretty and will be great for summer dining. We will return and hopefully sit in the garden. If there is one negative, I'd say it's the bathroom. There appears to be one bathroom and it's in the middle of the dining room and has a sliding barn door. I was able to hear people using the hand dryer while sitting in the dining room. That was a bit odd, but still wouldn't keep me from going back.

The evening started off really nice. While the place is very small (get ready to hear your neighbor's conversation), the staff is awesome. They have GREAT wines. In fact, several of my favorites are on their list. While the sticker shock for a couple might hit you, they offer wines not usually sold at restaurants, so this could have been my go to for a special occasion. I was impressed. Then it happened. The couple next to our table was so vulgar. They made out the entire time, and it was inappropriate. I was surprised the staff didn't mention it. A hand touch or a kiss as they got up would have been fine, but this was all out make out session, circa 1993 in the back row of the movies (wait, am I telling my age). I hate to take points away from the restaurant for that, but since they didn't stop it, I can only imagine that it could happen again. I wonder if others commented. I would never bring children here. It is not a place for kids. Not just because of the potential for a freak show, but because of the menu. It is a very mature menu (which I loved). Great wine and good food.

We went to Wine30 for brunch with a group of 10. There was plenty of space and availability, which was nice. The server was awesome, super accommodating and willing to make adjustments when desired. The food and drinks were good and not too expensive. This is a great place for a casual lunch or brunch on the patio.

One note - outdoor dining was very nice on a sunny day, birds pooped on our table twice (once on my friend). So that is one thing to consider. Not the restaurants fault at all!

Went to Wine:30 last night with a friend who was visiting from out of town. I had been to Wine:30 once before and loved it and I wasn't disappointed the second time around. In fact, I love it more now that I've been twice! They have a great wine and cheese selection and the service is fantastic. Arnold, who was our waiter last night, made the perfect wine and cheese recommendation for us and was very attentive throughout the meal without being overbearing. The atmosphere is very cozy (check out the ceiling full of wine corks!) and quiet enough to comfortably carry out a conversation without having to yell across the table. My friend and I both loved our experience at Wine:30 last night and I am certainly planning on going back again soon!

The food at Wine 30 was a HUGE disappointment. We ordered about 6 dishes to shared, and each one was under flavored (lack of seasoning or basic salt). The ravioli was meant to come in a cream sauce, but instead it sat in a watery base. The sliders (not worth the price for the size they are) could not stay inside the "very thin bun or lack thereof" provided. The zucchini pancakes had no salt at all!

The only redeeming parts of our meal at Wine 30: size is great for large parties in the back, wine & service was good.

Dinner took 2 hours because service was very slow, but it's not as if the waiters were busy running around. Each time we needed something (i.e., to place our order and to ask for the check), we had to play "who can get any one of the waiters' attention first." The lady who came over to clear our plates and get us the check figured out that we were unhappy with the service, and was kind enough to bring complimentary cupcakes. Unfortunately, cupcakes did not solve our problem. Tips are contingent on the service received.
