Our lunch, brunch and dinner menus change seasonally and use only the freshest ingredients from small purveyors and local farmers markets.
Wine:30 began as a thirty seat establishment and has grown to a 170 seat restaurant. We have a full bar, general dining area, an all-season garden, and a beautifully excavated wine cellar.
Please note that we only accept reservations for Dinner. For drinks and appetizers it is first come first served.
Great food options. Beautiful presentation. Great value for the lunch special. Can't wait to go back!
food was okay, the ambiance is questionable - sticky tables with someone’s long hairs on them... overall - overpriced for the quality + ambiance offered
They have a small outdoor patio out back that is a great little respite from the normal midtown dining scene. Food was quite good, my braised short ribs were very tender & tasted great. Huge wine list.
The best part was our waiter! He was so nice and wonderful
great food. Wonderful service. Nice ambience on the outdoor patio
Great food AND quiet on a Friday night. I absolutely loved the Braised Short Rib and the Cauliflower pancake. Would recommend everyone try those two dishes, and will definitely be going back, especially when seeking a fun but not super noisy wine bar with girls. One caveat: I've been twice, and while it was quiet on a Friday it was both busier and noisier on a Thursday night.
Una carta escasa y con mucha orientación itsliana
Very hot both in garden room and inside room. Great food and service. Will go back in Fall.
The wine selection is very good. The food is pretty good, although the attraction is the wine here. There is an outdoor room in the back which is a nice seating option. Service was friendly, although a little slow, even after the restaurant emptied out a bit. However, pricing is reasonable and as long as it is not very crowded, it is possible to have a conversation with someone without having to shout.
We had a great time the wines and food were wonderful, but the service was fantastic. The two servers were attentive and gave great recommendations, made our night out even more special. Would go back again for sure!
I dig this place!
I am a big fan of the tuna tartare and both the zucchini pancakes and the cauliflower pancakes. They were generous with the figs on the fig and prosciutto flatbread. And the shrimp dish is solid. Best of all, they did not rush my friend and I as we had a leisurely 3-hour dinner to catch up.
Nice place, not many pasta choices, though. Played uncensored 90’s rap music, though. Sometimes music was offensive, and very inappropriate for what looked like a quiet nice wine bar
It was great. Food was very good, people that work there are very friendly and nice. Place its cute I was outside it was warm weather perfect place for lunch.
Met a friend for lunch shortly after the restaurant opened so they were still setting up for the lunch rush. Took a moment to get the attention of the staff but had a pleasant meal in a nice backyard.
We had the buratta as an appetizer which was very good. Both of us ordered the homemade mushroom ravioli which was way too watery and not very good. Tastes like it sat in pasta water on the dish. I couldt finish it. For dessert we had chocolate cake which was delicious. Our server was very nice and attentive but then disappeared without saying anything and another guy took over our table. We also saw a mouse crawling from the floor up to the ceiling beams. We told the new waiter who said “thank you for letting me know, we will take care of it”. And then he gave us the check. He could at least give us a round of drinks or a discount but that didn’t happen. Wouldn’t recommend or go back unfortunately.
Wish there were happy hour specials! Wine list is extensive and well curated - something for everyone. Food is eclectic but good overall
Wine 30 was very good. We enjoyed our dinner on the delightful little patio. The wines we nice. We had the dips, which were ok. But the octopus tacos and the free range chicken dishes were delicious. Our server was nice and the staff in fern wrap very friendly. I would go back. Nice, quiet little place in this neighborhood.
Great selection of wines, delicious food, a large, pleasant patio.
We sat outside. Shared appetizers and a meal. Food and wine was great and our server was fabulous!
Very loud/hard to hear. Food was great, I recommend the mussels spicy. Table size was uncomfortably small. Waiter didn’t bring our check even though he brought us a free dessert so we waited for half an hour before I asked another server. The food made up for it.
THE FOOD IS ALWAYS GREAT! THE WINE IS DELICIOUS! THE MUSIC WAS A LITTLE LOUD, BUT OVERALL A GOOD EXPERIENCE.
What a great find! We were looking for something close to the Royalton Park Ave hotel and this was perfect. Service was excellent and the food was great...great crab cake!
Nice menu. The short ribs are outstanding. Servers are pleasant and efficient. The back garden was closed. Small indoor rooms are noisy, with uncomfortable seating. Can’t wait for Spring and al fresco dining!
Attentive, informed service with a good variety of wines by the glass. Plenty to eat with 3 small plates for 2 of us. Must try the mussels (in season.)
Three of us, had reservations. The wine list was great but that’s about all I can say was great. Service was average, ambiance average and food was not great. The choices were limited. We had steak, chicken and ribs. The ribs were quite tasty and the chicken was tasty and moist, but nothing special. The steak was not good - the cut was tough and it was not well presented. The side of asparagus was limp and sad on the plate.
We would not return.
We had excellent service and were able to have a leisurely dinner without feeling like we were being rushed out the door.
Service was outstanding. Cauliflower pancakes and picked crudities very good, otherwise rest of our food was just ok. Wine selection by the glass is, sadly, very limited. Nice, quiet venue on a Saturday night for relaxed conversation.
Excellent service, the food was awesome. Nice little place to unwind and relax drinking a glass of wine and eating some cheese and meats!
Amazing food! Highly recommend the zucchini pancakes, crab cakes, and ravioli. Amazing late night date spot to split a few amazing dishes. One thing I will say, this is a great place for people who want to buy a nice bottle of wine. If you came for the food and the amazing ambiance, you'll probably wind up paying $45 for a bottle of wine that costs $19 at the liquor store. We went for a bottle of Decoy because it was cheapest, but we should have just paid a bit more for one of their nicer bottles, as they have hundreds on the menu. They have an amazing wine cellar and outdoor space as well.
brilliant. across the board.
the wait staff was fantastic and the food was great!
Delicious wine and food. Service was attentive and happy to make recommendations. Great spot for wine and apps, but also the entrees are delicious!
We enjoyed a great dinner at Wine 30 on Saturday. As a party of 8, it could have been a challenge but the table location was terrific and the food and service were outstanding. We shared everything from appetizers to entrees and the waitstaff was incredibly accommodating. Everything we ordered was delicious and the wine menu was extensive. This was a return visit for a few of us and we will definitely be back!
Had a beautiful birthday celebration at this place. Our waiter Aldo was very nice and accommodating. The food was very delicious and wine list had an enormous list of options. Would definitely recommend this place for a date night or a casual friends gathering.
It was nice, the food was good but it was a lot louder than we anticipated.
Undiscovered gem? Wrong neighborhood? This place is awesome. not your same old NYC wine bar. We will be back, and will go out of our way to get there.
I've been to Wine 30 on numerous occasions and they never really disappoint. The food is always well prepared and the extensive selection of different dishes i think will appeal to most. They do prefer you to buy a bottle. I guessing that's why each glass of wine are minimally filled. That would be my only knock on my experiences.
My second time and as impressive as the first time about five years ago. Will be coming back, the food and the wine list are great, nice ambiance, perfect for dinner with friends. Very friendly staff.
great selection of wines, amazing food
I really wanted to like this place. My husband and I had been tirelessly working all day (well, actually non-stop for days) on a huge project we were launching for our nonprofit to help the homeless, including putting together 150 backpacks to give out. So, I was looking forward to a relaxing and nice dinner.
And, really, that's what this place SHOULD have been.
But, for me, service and atmosphere are as important as the meal.
Now, I preface this by saying, I am not, and never have been a jealous person. Quite the opposite. I find it flattering when guys find my husband attractive. It's often cute. He's adorable. So, when both waiters (yes, we had two for some reason ... ) flirted with him, and gave him a little attention it was cute and charming.
BUT, it didn't stop there. For all intense purpose, I seemed not to exist at all. Everytime they came to the table, they completely ignored me. It is rude, and bad service.
For instance, I ordered the ginger-garlic shrimp. It was awful. It was rubbery and hard to chewy and really bad. So, I tried flagging them down to no avail. (Mind you the place was pretty empty.) Jayson barely even looked their way, and boom, they were there.
I try explaining the issue and blank face. Jayson explained it, and they were apologetic, to him. Hello, it was my order. This went on all night.
I literally sat with two empty water glasses for 15 minutes, waiting for a glass of ice that I asked for. It was only after Jayson asked for me about the water and ice, that they got it, and then apologized to him, not me.
It not only RUINED dinner for me, but did the OPPOSITE of relaxing and calming. I was so irritated when we left. There is no reason ever to treat a diner that way, especially since I was paying the bill.
So, where we probably would have gone back and given it another shot. There's no way I'd ever go back there. In a city with so many other restaurants, a restaurant like this really should do better at giving good service.
Great spot with delicious food, a good wine list and cozy ambiance. The only downside we saw were the noise levels (not sure how much the restaurant can do to control these, but it got very loud).
