What can I say? Willy's continues to be the best choice in the Worcester area for steak.
All at our table ordered the Prime New York Sirloin and each was judged to have been delicious and melt-in-your-mouth tender. The sides of Baked potato and steamed asparagus were both plentiful and delicious as well. Drink, beer, and wine were well selected and, where required, prepared. Coffee, desserts, and cognac topped off the meal. Marlene was particularly attentive, knowledgeable and competent but the entire wait-staff should be graded "A."
Without a doubt, Willy's is the premier restaurant in the area for red meat entrees. The menu includes poultry, fish, and pasta entrees as well but I can't say I've ever tried any of these. I go for the steak!
Willy's is always great with high end cuisine and intimate atmosphere. While it's more expensive than a place with standard food and basic steaks, it's so much better. It's just as good as 111 Chophouse and Ruth's Chris restaurants.
asked for quiet table put by door and waitstaff area. 3 out of 4 steaks at table were cooked to rare sent 2 back took a good 10 min to get back . not worth the money . Wait staff was the only bright spot.
Good food. Nice menu. Just don't accept a table near the bussing station and the door. Wait staff hangs out there to chitchat and it's where people check in and wait for their tables. Really cuts into your privacy.
Food was excellent as always and service is impeccable. Very pricey so we only go during Worcester Restaurant Weeks or a special occasion. Worcester Restaurant Week has a three course prix fixe meal but drinks will make it expensive! Other than that we love this place.
Great food - both sea food and steak with good service.
Happy to have this restaurant in my town.
We always passed by willy's steakhouse but never went in. So glad we finally did. The atmosphere is very cozy, romantic, the service impeccable and the food expertly imagined and cooked. Will come again for sure!
This is not the first time we've been here. The food is outstanding, the décor is just what we like and besides it helps the local economy in Shrewsbury. We come back time and time again.....Great place
only complaints was the lack of heating, wore my coat the whole time.
Haven't removed my coat the last two visits.
In some ways, Willy's is an old school steakhouse but I don't find it stodgy. I find it charming and comfortable - and unique, since it also offers sushi (and the sushi is good). It's a cozy, intimate space with good food and decent service. It's always busy, so don't expect to just walk in an get a table, although there is nice bar seating that is usually available (although sometimes there's a wait for that too).
