Food was fabulous! Ambiance was sophisticated and quiet. Justin, our server, did an excellent job of taking care of us. I have dietary restrictions and he had the chef prepare our food just the way we wanted and it was delicious! I will go back there again and again!

This restaurant has a very comfortable atmosphere. Th staff is all very friendly and professional and the food is amazing. Prices are beyond affordable for such an elegant restraint as well.

This restaurant is surprisingly excellent. Dined there several days ago for a birthday celebration while staying at the casino the restaurant is housed in. I admit that since it was a hotel restaurant, I wasn't expecting much from the "fine dining" option, but I was sure wrong! From the start, the service was friendly, helpful, elegant, and flawless, which is hard to find even in many other high-end restaurants. The dining room is modern yet warm and romantic. I ordered the lobster chowder to start, and it was creamy and delicious and not overly full of either potatoes or corn. My entree was the Chilean sea bass, which was super-fresh, buttery and melted in my mouth. My companions ordered the prime rib and the diver scallops for their entrees, and everything was superbly presented and incredibly tasty. Yes, its expensive, but well worth it in terms of service and food quality. My mother was even presented with a "Happy Birthday" scoop of ice cream and lovely berries with a candle in it for dessert! The Willows is truly a gem in the Santa Ynez Valley and shouldn't be overlooked. I highly recommend!

The Chilian Seabass was excellant!! Very tasty, melt in your mouth delicious.
However when I asked my husband about his meal he was not impressed with the Shrimp and Linguine. He said it the shrimp was bland( not flavorful) and did not like the tomatoe based sauce on the Linguine. I was saddend because it was our anniversary and wanted him to fully enjoy our evening. Also the lights were too low and had a hard time reading the menu, someone must of complained because the lights were raised after we ordered Ha Ha.Otherwise everything was wonderful. Will return for sure.

Overall a very nice experience. A couple very minor issues: We checked in at the front desk, (we had reservations) and were told it would be a few minutes, even though the restaurant was almost completely empty at 5:30. Another party walked in and were seated right away, walked past us and we ended up at the table next to them. Thought that was strange. Only other thing: How come waiters tend to bad-mouth the house wine, then bring you a glass that he talks you into that is $18? It's just chardonnay, for pete's sake.
Otherwise, a beautiful restaurant with good food and service. Would recommend.

The food was absolutely delicious. My friend and I both had the 8 oz filet. When I saw it was $51 I was surprised because I had researched the menu before making the reservation and it was only $36. When I shoed the manager what came up on the Google search he honored the lower price. He handled it so well. And now that I've had the filet I can vouch that it is worth the $51! Highly recommend.

Overpriced for good food but not excellent food. I was expecting more. The café downstairs has much better value, and a more imaginative menu.

We have never been disappointed at the Willows. Their meals are always excellent and we usually take leftovers home because we are not able to eat it all. Their waitstaff is very accommodating, friendly and right there when you need something. The Willows gets 5 stars from us!

Food was great! Unfortunately the service was very slow and our server got our dinner order wrong, my wife did not eat since by the time they brought out the correct order everyone in our party had finished eating. The server acknowledged that he got our order wrong and said he could get a dinner out in just a few minutes unfortunately a few minutes turned into about fifteen or twenty minutes. I would have have expected that a manager would have have come over and apologized but we got nothing!!! Another thing was that when I made my dinner reservations there was no mention of a limited dinner menu, I was very disappointed that there was no pasta dinner offered.

Food was good but far overpriced. The quality of service and overall experience wasn't bad, just nowhere near what it was a decade ago. Much better value elsewhere in the valley, and even nearby in downtown Santa Ynez.

We dined at Willows during Restaurant Week and the menu was fantastic for $20.19--really fun. That said, we would never eat there under usual circumstances because the prices are way too high. There are other restaurants in the Santa Ynez Valley with great food that are a better value.

Checked in at 8:10 for 8:30 reservation Monday night. Told hostess we would wait in the bar. At 8:55 I realized they’d forgotten us as I saw people walking in after us get seated. Manager cane to apologize and stated “unfortunately he couldn’t even buy us a glass of wine” for the inconvenience. The food was tasty from the restaurant week menu and very reasonably priced. Service needs to be stepped up fir such a high end/high priced restaurant.

We went for the Santa Ynez Valley Restaurant Week where they had a set menu for $20.19. The meal was great and the service good. In general their menu is quite pricey, so we probably won't go back until next year's Restaurant Week.

I was there for Santa Ynez Restaurant Week.The food was fabulous and to die for.The meat just melts in your mouth.The salad is incredible.They are on top of their service.The manager came to the table to make we are taken care.I would highly recommend this place.

My husband and I had tickets for a show at 8pm, so we decided to take advantage of having a sitter and we made plans to go to dinner, too. There are very few vegan options for dining in restaurants here in the valley, so I was skeptical when my husband suggested we eat at The Willows. I immediately went to the restaurant's website and 'lo and behold there is a giant center button titled "Vegan Menu." The options looked really good. But when we got to the restaurant, the hostess emphatically said, "We don't have a vegan menu." Luckily she passed my request on to the server and he told the manager who promptly printed 2 Vegan Menus. The salad was SO delicious. It could easily be on the regular menu--so flavorful and fresh. My husband ordered the pepper-crusted Impossible Burger and I had the risotto. Both were absolutely amazing. Mine was stuffed in roasted tomatoes on a bed of fresh whole vegetables full of savory flavor. We also had housemade sorbet that was divine and the perfect way to finish our meals--even though we couldn't figure out what flavor sorbet it was (and yes, the server did tell us but we forgot). The manager politely came over and explained the initial confusion at the door. The vegan menu was so new (few weeks) that it hadn't really been fully implemented yet. He asked about our experience and asked us to spread the word if we saw fit, which we obviously do. Our experience was so wonderful that my husband has reminded me multiple times to write this positive review. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND dining at The Willows. The service staff are engaging and diligent. Chef Sergio clearly takes great pride in the flavor profile and presentation of his creations. We sincerely and respectfully appreciate any restaurant that offers vegan options, and these were great. You can taste the love.

everything was wonderful but the “trendy” plates for the crab cakes is an absolute disaster. could not keep the food on the plate
