The chef is creative without going overboard. The service is attentive, friendly, and unpretentious.
The food is always delicious and done to our request.
The atmosphere is authentic, romantic, cozy, and has a beautiful lake and mountain view, with seasonal outdoor dining.
It’s “Our Place”, and I believe it is one of the 10 best in the greater Denver area.

I'm from Atlanta and when it comes to dining I'm spoiled... so when I compliment exceptional service that service is absolutely through the roof. Extremely polite and friendly staff that is very competent and knowledgeable. Top notch food and wine list supporting Colorado and local businesses. All around best and most elegant place in Evergreen. Just excellent!!

Our Easter experience was disappointing, but I would consider returning for a quiet date night. It is more of a local restaurant as the staff seemed much more attentive to those that were greeted as regulars. We were seated at the cramped entrance/exit to the kitchen where the staff congregated to get supplies, talk, etc. perhaps due to having my teenage children with. We had a quiet younger waiter who wasn’t present often. My “hot” entree was actually rather cold around the sides, but I couldn’t catch anyone’s attention from our location. The buffet was low on some items due to the busy time of our reservation. It is a nice location with a solid varied menu and good wine list so may be better for a quiet dinner some time, but our quick (45 minute) Easter brunch felt chaotic.

Great ambiance and wonderful food. We have a lot of food sensitivities beyond gluten, and the chef is very accommodating!

As always the menu was different than last time I was there. It was a creative menu and had multiple items that I wanted to order for dinner. Of course I chose one dinner. I have gluten sensitivity and cannot have any gluten exposure at all. The server and Chef were very accommodating and didn’t at all seem annoyed or inconvenienced by my special needs. That in itself was greatly appreciated. The food was delicious and safe for me to eat. What a relief! The building and decor are beautiful and rustic, tastefully decorated. The view of Evergreen lake is spectacular and usually teaming with wildlife. I enjoy dining here.

Great waiter and service. Food was great but the beet salad looked like a small appetizer not an entree, could have ate lots more! And I added a protein too......

The food here is consistently good. The restaurant is decorated very warm & cozy with pretty lights strung around. Service was good except for the waiter spilling some of my plates sauce on the floor & over my knife then not replacing the knife until I asked. The waiter was very attentive but not hovering. Nice wine choices. Desserts are always delicious!

As first time patrons, we loved our experience and will return for any reason, whether for special reasons or to just enjoy the view and cuisine. The service was authentic, knowledgeable, personable; exactly in line with the unique, casual but elegant ambiance.

First time at Willow Creek. We made reservations (Sunday at noon)for Denver Restaurant Week, but was notified by the server that they didn't serve that meal until after 5. Instead, we enjoyed brunch, which was good, but somewhat pricey. Weather was nice, so we sat outside and enjoyed the views of Evergreen Lake.
My husband enjoyed the pork sandwich, although the fries were soggy. I had the open-face lox sandwich and mixed green salad--delicious.

Our party of 4 (2 couples) tried Willow Creek for Restaurant week! The food was very tasty and presented nicely with fresh ingredients. The restaurant itself is scenic situated next to the lake but it was dark so the scenery was irrelevant. A time on the patio during a spring Colorado day I'm sure would be great! The restaurant inside is very loud which took away a bit from the quality of the experience. Our server was also new yet, no where near ready to serve a table on a busy Saturday evening. Overall a good evening but nothing spectacular.

This restaurant generally has very good food and an interesting menu. Our last visit was very disappointing on both counts. The bananas and artichoke hearts were excellent; the Caesar salad and steak were very disappointing. The noise level which is often quit high was very annoyingly high.

We have always enjoyed Willow Creek. The food is really a special treat, so well prepared with concentrated attention to the detail of flavor and artistry. So well worth it. The restaurant has a great atmosphere with a view of the lake. Music is perfect for an intimate and upbeat date-night out. Love this restaurant!

Fabulous Saturday night dinner. They have two three-course dinner menus. One for $25 and the other for $45. The three of us had the $25 menu which was superb.

The food was definitely delicious with a great mix of different flavors and textures. When I consider that I’ve enjoyed meals from your basic restaurant to high end restaurants the cost of our meal was way too expensive for what we had.

Underwhelmed by the food, especially given the $45 price tag during Restaurant Week. Disappointing.

This will be our go to restaurant for special occasions and when we have out of town guest. The food and service were very good, and the setting overlooking the lake, was just stunning. Our only "surprise" was that the cocktails we ordered were rather expensive and the price was not indicated on the menu. Next time, we will ask. We highly recommend this restaurant!

The food quality, ambiance and service were excellent. However, for a $65 fixed price menu, I expected more than two scallops in the entree course. I don't mind paying more for a special occasion but I was very surprised and disappointed by the skimpy portions. I would come again but not for another fixed price menu.

Willow creek is our neighborhood gem. This review is from New Year’s Eve. They had a wonderful 5 course menu for $100. Food & service was great! The restaurant was decorated beautifully. Fireworks over the lake was a nice holiday bonus! Perfect night!

We love this place! Food and service are incredible. They were able to meet my daughters food allergies without a problem. We will definitely be going back time and again!

I have eaten at the restaurant many time but this was not a great day to dine. I am sorry...probably will return but not sure. The fish and chips were good but not a great value...a bit too pricey. And I did not hear my guest make any comment on the beet salad. I am sorry not to have a great review for I have been happier in the past.

Our daughter came to Denver for a visit over Christmas and wanted to experience a little bit of the Colorado mountains. We wanted a place to eat with good food and a scenic view. Willow Creek Restaurant provided us with both. The food was great. The staff was friendly and the service was good We would eat there again.

This was my husband and my first experience here. We're leasing a home in Evergreen for 3 months. The service (which you should include in your above recommendations) was fabulous. She was knowledgeable, friendly, so helpful in describing what was on the menu. She was probably one of the best servers I've encountered. The food was also fabulous! There is no question that we will be back. The only negative is when the front door opened with more guests, the chilly wind could be felt.
