On our annual trip to Evergreen, we eat at Willow Creek. The menu is always changing and the changes are good. Service and friendliness just makes it better.

The team made us feel welcome from reservation to when we left. Wonderful service and guidance (2 friends with very different wine taste). Beautiful food that was absolutely delicious. I have gone to Willow Creek for years and through all the environment changes they have held strong to overall values of their service and offerings. Great place for varied occasions. Dinner suggest slightly smarter dress but lunch time I found I was able to feel comfortable with my hiking gear sitting out on the deck.

We went to Willow Creek during a special menu night for Mardi Gras. Walking in we were greeted by the provisions manager Monica. The welcome was very warm and inviting. We went to the hostess stand where we were taken to our reserved table. The waiter came directly over and explained the menu going over the specials. We ordered the featured themed cocktails and an appetizer. The decor was mountain rustic tied with cute antiques and plants. The view of Evergreen Lake was gorgeous. For dinner we ordered the duck and shrimp gumbo and barbecued shrimp with polenta. The gumbo was a well thought out dish which had been honed by the chef over the last 30 years. It felt like I was back in New Orleans. Desserts were simple, elegant, and delicious.

We were disappointed that the Valentine's day menu was not disclosed until our arrival at the restaurant. Further the service was very slow and it took nearly two hours for our meal. Willow Creek is still a good restaurant in Evergreen however.

Hello! It has come to my attention that there was a glitch in our computer system and our ice cream was ringing in for $6, which is correct. But, if you had chocolate ice cream, it was charging guests an extra $10! Yikes! We are so thankful that you sent a review and made us aware of the situation. Now we can make this right by you! Would you please give the restaurant a call and ask for a manager. We would love to not only reimburse you the extra $10 we charged you, but your dessert is on us!

What a spectacular meal! Everything was delicious, but in particular, the beets appetizer was amazing. The cocktails were great and they have an extensive wine list, too. If you want creative and delicious food in a great space, you can't go wrong!

Elegant and rustic, soothing warm atmosphere and pretty decor. Our server was fantastic, there when you need him and not when you don’t. Our Christmas eve dinner was an all around grand experience. It was a 4 course meal and each course was a tasty meal in itself with the pairing if a very nice cocktail and a glass of wine. We would definitely come back every Christmas or other special occasion.

The staff, food, and cocktails are fabulous!!! The ambiance is warm and inviting. They created a special 4-course Christmas meal with options for $125, which was reasonable considering the quality and portion size, but if you ordered a la carte…oh my! $75 for vegetable risotto is OUTRAGEOUS! All in all, the evening was lovely but pricey!

The reason for 3 stars is that the Duck breast was basically raw and very hard to cut and not tender at all probably because it was so rare--should have sent it back--$75 bucks and not worth it. The duck leg was fine and server/staff were fine too. A nice place in any case. Just wish we had ordered something different. We will be back.

This is an outstanding restaurant! Highly recommended! My only complaint is that stupid mask mandate from Jefferson County. The staff has to wear masks while the patrons at their tables don't. Apparently Covid only attacks walking people...

Our fav in Evergreen. Always delivers. We try to go once every couple of months. The food is always top quality and service is usually very good. This meal was very nice as we were by the fireplace and had a great waiter. I had steak and my wife enjoyed her salmon. This is a must dine in the foothills.

Unfortunately, we were let down by our experience here. I will preface this feedback by saying we are both experienced in the restaurant business stemming from the east coast, so we are a bit spoiled when it comes to overall food quality and table service. I made this reservation a few weeks ago, specifying that it was a special occasion, that we were traveling over an hour for our experience, and that we looked forward to a great meal and great service as many reviews has specified. The restaurant and ambience is nice. A cozy place nestled in the mountains with a nice setting and a short but seemingly specially selected menu. It took nearly 15 minutes after seating to be acknowledged by our server. I wish I had a bit more sympathy for our waiter, but the restaurant was certainly not at full capacity, and I noticed both servers on the floor checking on and conversing with the same group of tables a number of times before they came our way. After finally getting the opportunity to order a drink, that as well seemed to have taken much longer to get them than it should have…I guess I just expected a bit more expediency after the first wait. We ordered their ‘sourdough bread service’ which they flaunt is from a 100-yr old starter. Not only was it hard to believe it was sourdough due to its lack of flavor, but it was server ice cold making it much less enjoyable than it could have been. We shared a few dishes. All were tasty with nicely done plating. However, our server never came by to ask “how is everything?”, and instead came too little too late and simply said “it’s good isn’t it?” Well sure, but that’s not the care and concern I would expect from the server, especially given the menu prices and overall high end vibe of the place. We sat with empty drinks for a period of time we could have had another round. By the time the server casually said “so I’ll bring you another round?” we were ready to leave. Would not recommend, unfortunately.
