We just had our wedding here and it was magnificent. The team really went out of their way to make the day special for us. Everyone raved about the food and the bar was affordable and kicked out stellar drinks. Francesca was so attentive and made sure everything was taken care of. Beautiful ambiance and plenty of room for our party of around 40.

The service was abysmally slow, the food was mediocre at best and it was ridiculously expensive - our most expensive meal ever! Our waiter's hands hand shook - nervous or in withdrawal?? My drink order was wrong twice and I finally gave up and swiched to wine. My chicken was over-cooked, dry and tough and my cous cous looked and tasted like rabbit pellets. People from the kitchen brought food into the room and then didn't know who ordered what then wandered around asking everyone "who ordered this?" The people next to us said their food was "ice cold". What a terrible experience! And on Valentine's day no less. We used to come to Willow for fine dining and outstanding food. What in the world happened?? I'm so disappointed. We will not be back.

Valentine’s Day debacle. Very disappointed. Have been dining here for years and had always been enjoyable. But their latest decision to only cater special event dining has apparently taken a toll. Entrees came late and cold. Even after sent back to reheat same result. All they could do was credit the entree. Felt sorry for our server who seemed to be apologizing all night!

We were there for restaurant week. The website menu was misleading in that it listed a wine with each course, but neglected to mention that they were just suggestions and not included. Then I ordered a Yuengling draft, but they were basically out and instead of suggesting another beer, I got a glass of flat beer that they didn't charge me for. I had a kale salad that was so salty as to be inedible, and my husband's pork chop had a sauce that was incredibly spicy hot. He did not mind it, but even though I like spicy food, I wouldn't have been able to eat it. My salmon was fine. Finally, our plates were cleared and we waited and waited and waited for our desserts. Eventually the server came out with them and tried to give them to two other tables before starting to take them back when we flagged her down. Needless to say, after spending more than $100 for this meal, we won't be back!

This was a delicious meal prepared by a chef who desires to use the freshest ingredients (which always taste better) and creates a seasonal menu. Our server couldn’t have been better, she explained the dishes to us, let us take our time, and gave good advice on selections. She met our needs but did not “over-hover”. She offered things but did not oversell. The restaurant is quieter but filled so you can hear each other but doesn’t feel deserted. The only reason I gave it one less star for atmosphere is because it’s a little rustic but location close to major roads is a plus also. Can’t wait to go back and try other items on the menu.

We have had dinner here and it has been absolutely wonderful. Brunch was the worst experience ever. The omelette was inedible and our waitstaff was terrible. We told her it was terrible it had no cheese and hardly any ham in it. She didn't seem to care and did not want to offer a solution or alternative. It's a whole different restaurant at night with superb Quality food and service.

This was a birthday brunch, and we chose Willow because it presented itself as upscale. The coat check person/hostess was great. Then our server came out. She was dressed like she was going to clean her house, and looked a mess. She was clearly overwhelmed and undertrained. She didn't hear certain orders (even after she'd confirmed them), ignored people at our table. A table that came in after us was served way before us - they were leaving when we finally got our food. Everything took way too long. The food was pretty good. On the greasy side, but not bad, but perfectly seasoned, which most restaurants don't do. Coffee wasn't great. There was no one behind the bar, so we didn't bother ordering drinks, nor were any offered to us. We won't be back - there's way too many places that are much better to go back to a place with bad service.

The ambiance and service at Willow is second to none. You walk into old wooden doors yet modern amenities, and it really feels like you're dining in class. It's also in a location that does have traffic, but no other buildings are surrounding, so the seclusion and 'getaway' feel are very abundant. The only issue we had while dining was the food. It was not bad, but it was not great either. The food was hyped up so much by our waitress, who was phenomenal, but I could have had just as good salmon at Red Lobster. While the dishes are unique and certainly presented well, there's not a ton of food, and what you do get tends to be light and heavily doused in sauces. Overall, I would certainly come here again. I would like to visit to sit at the bar and have a classy drink or two rather than go through the whole dining experience. Again, not bad, but overly hyped and expensive for average food you could find at a chain.

So many things wrong. Had reservation for 8:30 on New Years Eve. Told us they were behind 15 minutes. Sat at bar to wait. Bar was sticky and unclean with dirty glasses. Had to ask bartender to clean it before taking drink order. Was not seated until almost 9:00. 20 more minutes before bread and water. Another 15 to have order taken. Another 20 minutes for appetizer. Crab cake had something in it. Told waitress. Never saw chef or manager until requested at end of meal. Told it was shell. Dessert was a stale cake with bananas foster sauce and ice cream. Bathrooms were filthy, unkept and floor soaked. Tables around us were not bussed. Had to stare at dirty dishes while we ate. Manager discounted 15%, basically tip amount. Stated prices were higher due to extra staff, yet we had a late reservation and the restaurant was not to capacity. We did not leave until almost 11:00 pm. Most of that time was spent waiting. We ate as quickly as possible and left. For 65.00 per person I expected a lot better service. We will not be back.

I was pleasantly surprised. In the past, I have found that the food choices were not very ambitious - more like bar food. On this visit, there were some very good options - and the food was extremely good. The one issue was the noise level - there was a table of around 20 people in the same room and it was extremely noisy - very hard to hear the other two people who I was with. Better planning by the restaurant relative to a big group like this would be a good idea.

My husband and I were out with a friend and we were all very pleased. I ordered the green salad with apples and nuts. It was so large that all 3 of us shared, and it was STILL too much for me. It was so delish, though, I finished my portion!!! The warm bread is fresh and soft, but still warm. Our waiter, Fred, was informative, efficient and enjoyable. He knows the menu and was pleasant and personable without being pushy. DS had tortellini with crab sauce and loved every savory bite. My friend had the tasty and tender short ribs and I was treated to the pork loin with bread pudding, so very good but I had to share it with DS, as it was too much for me. The pork was done to perfection. We will return. The addition of Chef Aaron Allen has been a boon to this restaurant. The cold winter months are here, so treat yourself with a fabulous dinner at the fireplace of WILLOW. You will not be sorry.

The food was mediocre at best and the prices, which would be in keeping with a better restaurant, were exorbitant in relation to the poor quality of food and service. At our table, we had mussels, a few crabcake orders, a bass and a burger. The only person who wasn't extremely disappointed with his/her order was the person who ordered the bass. Had to stop at Wendy's to get a "better" burger for my grandson, who left most of his mushy mass, called a "butter" burger, on his plate at Willow. Never again. I repeat: Never again.

The price for the quality is outstanding. Have not been here in awhile but so glad we went back. The service was great, and the food was excellent! Although not a large menu there are great small and large plates to pick from! The steak tartare was the best I’ve had in the city. And the “fried chicken” was a perfect small plate to share and delicious! My only negative is the noise. We sat in the dining room next to the bar, although the tables are not close to each other it was pretty noisy and a little difficult to have a conversation without speaking loudly. If you haven’t been here in awhile it is definitely worth a trip back. You would not be disappointed.
