This is not the first time we have dined at Wildwood. In the past, it has been mostly outstanding and then, on a very few occasions, just fair. This time it was outstanding from a food, service and ambiance perspective. Two people in our group had the Prime Rib and it was raved about. One person had a steak and the other, the scallops, and they were both very good to outstanding . Our server, Rachel, was outstanding and very attentive to our party's needs.
We went for a "girls" lunch and it was wonderful. Food was good, the waitress let us talk with minimal interruption. Two of us ordered lunch and two ordered breakfast all food was great! We went on a Sunday at noon and the atmosphere was excellent. Would recommend this for any occasion!
Still the best restaurant in Geneva.
Pretty pricey brunch but that’s geneva. Enjoyed alit! Very kind waitress
We were aware they have brunch on Sunday's but certainly wasn't expecting a bill of $100 for 2 people just for Easter brunch.
Fabulous Easter brunch! Our wait staff was exceptional!
Great Easter Brunch, been taking the Family here for many years!
Their Easter brunch was very good! They had a nice selection to choose from.
Wildwood never disappoints. The food is always excellent This is our go to restaurant for a delicious meal and nice glass of wine. Highly recommend!
We were there on a Sunday night this time so it was pleasantly quiet enough for conversation. On Fridays and Saturdays is can be quite load. The food was very good. The bone-in ribeye was a nice cut and well prepared. The same goes for the center cut pork chop. The garlic mashed redskin potatoes were also very nice but needed a touch of salt. Their ceasar dressing was just average. Service was friendly and very attentive but not overdone at all. Corkage fee of $20 is reasonable.
We thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday lunch. All the food was incredibly appealing and tasted great. Portions were generous and everyone thought they made the best choice with their chosen entree. This is a nice atmosphere and our waitress was very friendly and visited the table and appropriate number of times over a nicely paced lunch. Will definitely go back even though we live over an hour away.
We took our daughter out for a nice dinner and the service was excellent and the food was outstanding. Shrimp Cocktail, Lobster Tails, Filet and Prime Rib were all delicious and cooked perfectly.
What a great find! Food delicious. Owner/manager and staff very friendly. Great quiet atmosphere.
We have been several times and enjoy upscale atmosphere. The staff is very attentive and there is a wide selection for most appetites. I would recommend for a nice "date"night with the wife or fine dining with friends.
Waitress was new and was rushing around working hard but appeared spread over too many tables. She had to cover a very large area. No floor manager appeared to be observing or suporting the area as well. Food took too long between Sald and Entre
Could be much better just short staffed. Bar area good and attentive before and after dinner. Music was vey good. Nice Trio.
Best filet with peppercorn sauce. Love the potatoes au gratin. Dave the server is exceptional!
It was the best prime rib we have ever eaten! We also shared the walleye, which was excellent.
Amazing food! Incredible service!
We arrived a few minutes early but was seated at once on a very busy Saturday night.
Service was slow due to the full room. One of our party order P/Rib but was told
they had run out. Rest of our meal was OK.... not great.
On the plus side, they have a outstanding wine list, with some exceptional value
on their top cab's and cab blends. Some are at prices close to what
they sell for at retail.
We received a free desert due to the slow servive and being out of P/Rib.
Service was outstanding!
Would go back & pay 2x just for the excellent service received.
I don't know how the waitress did it? It was crowded and she still waited on us hand & foot!
The food (steaks) melted in your mouth, I have recently paid more for less at a casino restaurant.
Will highly recommend to friends & family!!!
Very yummy!
Loved the duck spring rolls and chorizo bacon wrapped dates. Service was great and had a nice bottle of wine. We would go back
We enjoyed our dinner at Wildwood very much. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. D'Andre took good care of us. He was attentive without being over the top. My husband had the walleye and recommends it. I had the prime rib. It was roasted perfectly, tender and juicy. The brussel sprout appetizer is great and very generous. We took some home because we couldn't finish it. the white chocolate creme brulee was the best ending for the meal.
Rachel was very informative about the menu and wine list. Food was brought out in a timely manner between courses.
Undercooked one of our steaks but compd it. Service was pretty slow. Very good otherwise.
My wife and I met up with some friends and we thought it was an nice place to dine. Many choices on the menu and if your a fan of fish, there are some dishes you may find interesting. As we sat down, the place was busy for a Saturday night and the service was somewhat slow. It probably took at least 15 mins to have water served to us then another 5-10 min for our waiter to come greet us and ask us for our drink order. The wives ordered a bottle of wine and my buddy and I ordered martinis. When the waiter came with the wine he had told us they had ran out of Tito’s vodka and had to get more and was apologetic for the delay. Once we got our drinks I had mentioned to the waiter that we were ready to order and said he would be right back. 15 mins later he took our order and during that time another customer had interrupted us to have him take care of him right away. I wasn’t upset but it just seemed rude since we have been waiting for so long. Once we got our order in the food was delicious where I ordered the ahi tuna steak and my wife ordered one of the fish specials( a white fish, can’t remember the name) and we were all happy with our meals but it could have been because we were so hungry. All in all this place wasn’t terrible but wasn’t great as well and wouldn’t make an effort to come back to.
I was very disappointed with my experience at Wildwood. We have three young children and do not make it out often, so we really value our time away. We went to Wildwood to celebrate my husbands birthday. Our service was very poor. Our waiter, Dave, did not go out of his way to really welcome us at all. He barely greeted us and didn’t talk about the menu or specials with us. We didn’t receive our appetizer. Our dinner arrived with one of the wrong sides and another one missing. My steak was over cooked and very disappointing. When I told the waiter my steak was over cooked he didn’t offer me another one, in fact he blamed me for getting the butterfly cut. The best part of our evening was the live trio band that we enjoyed in the bar after dinner. We spent too much money to be so unsatisfied.
As always the food and service were impeccable. Cudos to our server Jose for being so attentive!!
This was a great restaurant it must have a new owner. Crowded in tables. Underseasoned food
Long wait time . Went for our 28th anniversary what a disapointment.
It was good. Waiter was great, bussers were not detailed, brought bread without butter, did not remove appetizer plates until they had to make room for the entre's. Food was very good though and the menu was comprehensive.
One of our favorites. The prime rib is always superb!
Great food each and every time! The staff is very attentive and the atmosphere is inviting. We look forward to dinner here each time we are in town!
Service was excellent. I loved the Dover sole. It was a lovely way to celebrate my birthday, complete with complimentary brownie dessert plus a lit candle! It was quieter than usual since it was so soon after the holidays- very few people there. Nice!
My wife and I wanted to enjoy a special dinner to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We had enjoyed a meal hear about a year ago and thought this would be a nice place. We were not disappointed. The food was well prepared and the service was excellent. We were able to enjoy a quiet evening with nice conversation. The restaurant was busy for a Saturday night but was not packed so we were able to converse and hear each other easily. This is not inexpensive but certainly affordable for a special occasion. They also provided a small desert which for us was perfect to share and included coffee with the desert. We would recommend this for a nice occasion to celebrate or just have an enjoyable dinner. My wife had the Dover sole, which came with asparagus and was excellent. I had the Chicken scaloppini which was with artichoke hearts and capers and a wonderful dish. We would definitely recommend this restaurant and look forward to our next visit.
Drinks at bar and service at bar were great..
.dinn r in restaurant was mediocre...slow service poor prime rib modest dover sole...a little over priced...great hors duerves...next time will eat at bar
The French Onion soup was delicious. My husband ordered the salmon, which was described as medium rare, but it was really rare. I splurged and ordered the King Crab Legs at $50. Sadly they were severely overcooked, so much that they looked very stringy and dried out in the shells. I don't usually send food back, but the server sent the manager over. I told him not to fuss, I would share my husband's salmon. He insisted on something and I finally accepted his gracious offer of another salmon dinner. That salmon was more properly medium rare and much better than the one my husband first received. I'm sure they were very busy with New Year's Eve, but would have hoped they monitored the food preparation and quality a bit better. We started in the bar, having some wine and listening to an awesome Classically trained guitar player. We skipped dessert and went back to the bar for more music and midnight. My thanks to the manager for his service with the dried out crab. Our waitress was lovely. We will come back.
This restaurant has two sections: a restaurant and a separate bar. We’ve been to both. We frequent here often because of the atmosphere, food and service staff. It’s a gem in Geneva.
We enjoy Wildwood for its nice menu and attention to service. The waitstaff never disappoints and we look forward to being served by D'Andre.
The food is sometimes hit or miss but often just great.
Christmas Eve with my Gentleman friend and requested the charming waiter "D" who makes the total experience top drawer. Our No1 chose for any occasion and the best restaurant in Geneva as far as I'm concerned.
Shrimp cocktail watery and tough. Too noise for a table conversation. Service was slow. Overall food, okay
