Wildwood Restaurant - Geneva Ratings and Reviews
This was our second time visiting Wildwood and will definitely come back again. We sat outdoors to enjoy one of the last nice days of the Fall season. Food is wonderful with some of the usual fair sprinkled with more original tastes. The quiche was quite good and service was pleasant and fast. We have come here twice for lunch and have not been disappointed. Next time we will try dinner.
Great atmosphere, but a real miss on food quality and taste. Our waiter made numerous mistakes and compounded the errors, y not accepting responsibility for the errors. Could be a great spot, but they need to improve the food originality, quality of preparation and taste.
This is the second time we have visited this restaurant this year. The food is good and there is a decent selection. Everything just seems a bit pricey for the quality and quantity you receive. The service this time was also a bit slow and the restaurant wasn't very full.
We came for our anniversary brunch. Our service was impeccable. We had the breakfast side of brunch and it was all really good. Then at the end we got a dessert on the house. They have a very nice patio overlooking a little garden area. We will definitely be coming back to Wildwood.
We dine here often. Until last Friday we never had a bad experience but on that night there was a group of 10-12 people that were so loud that even though we were on the opposite end of the restaurant. we had to lean over to talk to one another. This group was very rude and disrupted the dining experience and our disappoitment is that no member tooik any action to quiet them down. Perhaps, they were more interested in increasing the bar bill that considering the dining experience of the rest of us. Normally this restaurant is a great place to dine but it will be some time before we return based on our last experience.
The food was good. Sevice was good, but it seemed the wait staff was RUNNING (literally) every time they came into the room. One waiter actually hit my chair. He apologized and ran on his way. We all noticed it and commented on it. You need to slow down. It rushed things. Also, it was very noisy for a conversation. It was good food, but I;m going to wait to return.
My wife an I were celebrating our second anniversary and wanted a great place to have our dinner. We choose Wildwood. We have been there before and wanted to go back for our special day. My wife had the salmon and I had the Door county white fish. Both were excellent. The service was first class. Keep up the good job. Thanks.
A marvelous restaurant in a suburb blessed with many fine dining choices. The food (fish specials; e.g. Ahi Tuna) are prepared tantalizingly. Moreover, the wine list offers a plethora of choices while providing good value. Furthermore, the service is friendly without being obtrusive. In addition, the ambiance provides a romantic, relaxing setting. I unequivocally recommend Wildwood Restaurant in Geneva, Illinois for anyone interesting in experiencing delectable food, wine, attentive services and charming ambiance.
We were craving seafood and saw that they had a good amount on the menu, so we tried it out. Oh.my.gosh! So delicious! We shared the seafood fondue, white wine clams, and the lobster wedge salad. Everything was so tasty! Plus, our server was really great. He was super attentive and overall very friend. We left with full bellies and our craving satisfied!
Been here a handful of times now, and food never wows but is always pretty good. Both of our steaks were a little overcooked, which was disappointing but they were close enough to not be upset (we don't like to complain). Service was great, which can't be said for some of our past visits.
