Wildflowers at Turning Stone Ratings and Reviews
I have been to Wildflowers many times and have had great food and service. We decided to try the brunch as a late New Years celebration. Our reservation was at 9:45. We ordered Bloody Mary’s for 10:00. We finally got them at 10:15. My father and I ordered the Eggs Benedict special and my mother an omelet. Our Egg Benedict was delivered lukewarm. We would have said something but our waitress was not around. The food tasted delicious but would have been much better hot. I was expecting the same service I received when I visited for dinner. We probably will not return.
The food was great. We ate here for dinner the night before and the food and service were fantastic. The only reason I did not give it a full 5 stars was because the waitress for our breakfast gave us the wrong receipt. The receipt we were originally given was significantly cheaper. We didn’t think anything of it because the total cost seemed to be accurate based on what we got. We never read the breakdown unless we notice an issue. When the waitress came back with our card she told us she gave us the wrong receipt originally but charged us for the correct amount which was almost double. It seemed pricey for what we got. We were a little disappointed that she didn’t tell us before she went ahead and charged the card along with the tip because then we could have at least reviewed what we were paying for before making that payment.
Wife and i did a date night here and we were very happy with the total experience. Food was good and the service was excellent, prices were higher than we were used to but we knew that going in and the total experience was worth the cost. They treated us like we were royalty. Thinking of going here for our 25th wedding anniversary.
Absolutely the best meal and experience I have ever had. The entire staff was nothing short of delightful and made the experience just that much better. Romantic setting but not over the top, perfectly done, it was cozy and we felt like royalty. The food was to die for and I will absolutely be returning
I went to Wildflowers for my first year anniversary with my wife. I booked a couple days before but they were able to accommodate. When we arrived we were shown to our seat by the Manager where he presented us with a fun little postcard signed by the staff for our anniversary. Our waitress came out (Lindsey) who was fantastic. Everything she suggested sounded amazing and she was able to provide information about the restaurant (and the lodge as well). We got drinks (they were not on the menu but they made them for us no problem) and they were strong and delicious. We had soup/salad which was the best soup and salad I have had. The food recommendations were fantastic. I ordered the Sea Bass and my wife got the Filet. It was some of the best food I have ever had. The price was higher, but the quality was shown. The environment was quiet and romantic. I felt like I was one of the only people there because they spread the guests out to provide adequate room for quiet conversation. There was background music playing and the waitress was quick and attentive. Fantastic dinner and I WILL go again! Worth it on every level for me.
Top notch all the way! From the hostess, management, chef to the wait staff, well trained, respectful, personable.
Our waiter even remembered our wine choice from last year!
Food is always better than expected and more than enough.
Everything was SO perfect we went back for lunch the next day and dinner...again!
Very good creative food. If you are at all a foodie then this is a better choice than the TS steakhouse but not a great selection for the meat and potato crowd. We loved it! The oysters were fresh and delicious, swordfish was very good but once I saw my husbands duck dish I was wishing I had ordered that. We even left with a sugary treat compliments of the chef. We will definitely be back the next time we are at TS.
We dined at Turning Stone Casino's Wildflowers restaurant located in The Lodge. It took us a while to find it, but it proved to be worth the effort. Wildflowers had been recommended to us by family members and friends. My wife and I both ordered the shrimp taco appetizer, followed by lobster bisque for her and an arugula-based salad with cherries and apricots for me. For entrees she ordered ricotta-filled ravioli and I got a mushroom and barley "risotto" (more accurately an "orzotto"). All very good. We accompanied our meal with a nice Sonoma Zinfandel by Rodney Strong . Turning Stone doesn't allow outside beverages/corkage, which is quite disappointing for true wine enthusiasts/collectors. Other than that, our experience was quite positive at Wildflowers.
I had the wagu beef fillet. For $42 I expected it to be more tender and to have more flavor. It was chewy, very bland, and the bernaise sauce did not help much as it was very bland too, not much Tarragon flavor. The cheese plate appetizer was good, waiter was excellent. For the price, I just expected the entree to be better. One annoyance...we ate early and the place only had a few customers, and they sat a loud group right next to us. There were plenty of other tables they could have used.
The restaurant is very clean nicely decorated. The view outside is nice even when it's raining! The food was excellent in taste. The complimentary cheese appetizer was appealing to the eye and taste. To end the dinner, we were given complimentary mini loaves of a frosted pound cake for next morning's breakfast with coffee. It is the extras that give restaurants the stars! Look forward to eating their again!
Always fabulous, now with a new menu, with more fish/seafood choices, special aged steaks, and a great wine list.
The service is spectacular, and both personal and formal.
The setting in the Lodge, is architecturally splendid with wonderful Native American artifacts.
Looking forward to returning soon!
My husband and I had dinner here on Monday evening and it was a really great experience from start to finish. Andrew, our waiter, was a true professional, offering not only a vibrant personality but a wealth of knowledge about the menu items. His timing was impeccable as well. His knowledge of the wines led us to an exceptional bottle of Opus 2013 that was to die for. The food was delicious and exquisitely prepared with a beautiful presentation. We travel all over the place and were genuinely surprised at how upscale Wildflowers felt in some aspects, but truly down to earth and comfortable in others. It is a very romantic place have dinner with a cozy atmosphere. Our experience hit on all cylinders that evening and was flawless. We definitely plan to go back.
