Wildflower - Tucson
Wildflower, the first Fox Restaurant Concept, raised the culinary bar when it opened in Tucson in 1998. To this day, it continues to set the standard for innovative New American Cuisine featuring a melting pot of American classics with European and Asian influences. If that’s not enough, the restaurant offers 80 wines by the bottle and 25 by the glass – an excellent range for both the wine connoisseur and the novice.
horseradish gratin, sherry glazed beet, arugula
red grape, avocado, havarti cheese, brown sugar wheat
Short Rib Ravioli
truffle cream, swiss chard, roasted mushroom, red chili flake, breadcrumb
Celebrating my birthday. Had a good experience and the menu did change, so I was a bit little sad. Overall Wirth my new choices of food it tasted great. Can’t complain.
Wildflower was very clean and social distances were maintained. We had a terrific waitperson, Maria. The grilled artichoke was so delicious as was the calamari. We all ate fish and chips, which was tasty but perhaps a tad overcooked. We had hoped for the warm doughnuts, but they were not available. Very nice place to relax over a cocktail with friends.
I visit Wildflower every trip Tucson 3-5 times a year, always excellent!
Our new go to place with many spots closed. They do an excellent job of spacing, sanitizing etc. We have eaten there 3 or 4 times in the last month or so and it has been exceptional.
Wildflower has been a favorite for awhile, and it was great for the first restaurant we went out to during the pandemic. The seating was at 50% capacity, all employees had masks and gloves, there was a specific entrance and exit, and a note on each table with information on how they disinfected the silverware, etc. This was SO appreciated during these crazy times! And of course, the food was fantastic.
My dinner experience was perfect! I loved the little plastic bags they provided for masks.
All the staff were professional and wore masks. I love the ambiance, the cleanliness, and the outdoor seating was wonderful!
The food is always consistent and the service could not be better. It is a pleasure to dine there. If weather permits, take advantage of the patio and you can take your dog!
Wildflower’s food never disappoints. Our server was way too loud and talkative, however. Doesn’t need to tell us what she’s doing throughout the service. I’d like to think those things happen “invisibly”. Somewhat borderline condescending. I’m over 60, but hey, I’m not a child!
Well organized and comfortable with all of the precautions for the Coronavirus. Food and service are always good and consistent.
Wildflower continues to be one of my 5 star "keeper" restaurants in Tucson. The cocktails are creative, the food is consistently excellent, and the service always deserves the unavailable "six" stars. The ambiance on the patio is wonderful in any season. Wildflower has my unconditional recommendation for a casual night out or for any special occasion.
Never lets me down! Creative delicious food, classic atmosphere, and very kind and attentive service!
Wildflower did an outstanding job removing half their tables. They have wonderful outdoor seating. The food was delicious in fact the best Asian salad I have had there!
Went to Wildflower with 3 gal pals to celebrate a birthday recently. Sad to see this once packed restaurant sparsely peppered with patrons due to Covid but that didn’t detract from the excellent food or service.
We enjoyed excellent service by an enthusiastic young waiter ( whose name I can’t recall ). The food was WONDERFUL! So enjoyable. Thank you’
It was my daughter's birthday and I decided to take her out for a nice dinner at this restaurant. We were treated like royalty and our server provided excellent customer service. It was our first time dining at Wildflower and we will definitely come back again in the future.
Great outdoor patio table, wonderful service, and the ravioli was perfect. Wine by the glass had an excellent variety, and good value.
They are taking every precaution to protect their customers from Possible Covid spread.
Fish and chips is one of our favorites on the menu and once again Wildflower did not disappoint. The service was excellent and the Dry white wine was ideal for seafood. We were so happy to see the quality level has been sustained in such a difficult time.
We always love the service, the food and the patio........and look forward to more outings as we get used to living with Ciovid 19.
Excellent food and ambiance.
Excellent waiter service
Non existent greeting, nobody around at hostess stand.
Stood there when we arrived for awhile as one waitress passed by with a tray of food and said “
we’ll be with you “like I was at a drive in. Terrible customer service with no greeting
Wildflower was absolutely fabulous! The service was superb, and the outdoor seating was really nice. The best part was the food - we had the short rib ravioli and grilled shrimp & avocado, and both were top-notch. Also, you must order their bars of sin! One of the best desserts I've ever had.
very disappointed with the boloneise entre they said it was good however, it was dry, overcooked and had no flavor we advised the waite to let the kitchen know, and to advise other customer that this was just a very average speghetti dish and would not order it again
A nice restaurant experience. Good menu. staff and interiors. Keep up the good work,
Impressed by adherence to current covid 19 guidelines.
Great food, great service, good social distancing,
Great food, great service! We enjoyed delicious spinach pasta, shrimp and excellent wine.
Our 1st meal out since Covid began was for my birthday. We were nervous, but were instantly relieved to see the spacious placement of tables! Our wonderful server even told us how safe SHE felt with all the precautions, she had explained to us, Wildflower was having the crew take!
Now to the food!! Delicious as usual!! My Asian chicken salad was dressed perfectly! I didnt leave a scrap in the bowl! Hubby had a perfectly cooked, scrumptious burger that disappeared so quickly I couldn't believe it! ;D.
Thank you, Wildflower, for being so cautious! We will be back soon!
Delightful safe experience.
This restaurant is one of my favorites. Great open atmosphere, including a garden like misted patio setting if you prefer outside seating, friendly servers and great fresh food.
Lunch was delicious! During these trying times, I appreciate a restaurant that follows guidelines but still
Food was excellent
Amazing food and staff the best I’ve had in Tucson!!
I was incredibly nervous about attending due to COVID and its regulations. I have gone to other places and the social distancing and guidelines they were following was absolutely a disaster. You guys??? I was absolutely impressed with the way y'all are handling the regulations. My goodness thank you so so much! From asking us to wear masks until we are seated, the hand sanitizers everywhere, and the server and employees all wearing masks as well. I felt so so safe. The social distancing? Absolutely the best. Thank you so so much. I do feel bad we didn't order much however but next time it will be different as I will return when things re-open.
You guys have left quite an impression. thank you
Wildflower is a relaxing dining experience with great service, food and atmosphere. The service is low key, but there at just the right moment, menu options, for food and wine that offers variety and the space is relaxing and beautiful,
Birthday. Good as always.
The food was excellent, as always.
With social distancing, the dining room was quieter & more enjoyable.
Our waiter was courteous & knew it was my birthday without me saying anything.
There are only a few restaurants that we're willing to go to during this pandemic. Wildflower is one of them. They are serving with the utmost care, and have tables available in different settings, all well distanced. We like the ones outdoors. Of course, food and service is always great too.
enjoyed our lunch there.
Not their full lunch menu yet but still a good variety,
Great as usual!
Great atmosphere, service and food. Made for an excellent Father's Day dinner.
We are new to the area and went for our anniversary based on a recommendation from a friend. The food and service were both excellent! I had the short rib ravioli and my husband had the short ribs. Wildflower will definitely become one of our go-to restaurants!
