Wildflower is one of my favorite Tucson restaurants. Service is always impeccable. Servers are polite, helpful and kind. The food is fresh and tastefully prepared.

Every thing was delicious but the restaurant is very loud and it was not even crowded.

Wildflower consistently exceeds my expectations! The menu always has my favorites (mussels and the salmon and potato galette) but has some new additions each time I visit. The patio is usually my favorite place to sit but with our large group, it was a treat to have the corner booth that offered a better place to chat. Cocktails are wonderful, as are the desserts. We were delighted with a wonderful selection of complementary birthday desserts. Wildflower is always my first choice for special occasions!

Why does this review have to be at least 50 characters? WILDFLOWER is great but I will not go back again because of the noise level. I was not able to have any kind of a conversation with my table mates. TOO LOUD! KS

We had our anniversary dinner here, at one of our favorite restaurants. The food was delicious and service was very good except the bread was forgotten, which actually was fine with us. They put all our desserts on a single plate and wrote Happy Anniversary in chocolate on it. The noise level is a bit high inside because the tables are rather close together. Prices are a bit high but the food is very tasty.

Really good comfort food, excellent service, and reasonable prices, make this still one of the best places to dine in Tucson. We love the smoked salmon appetizer, the scallops entree and the paella! Servers are great too.

Haven't been here in awhile and was pleasantly surprised. Seated promptly, service was good, no hovering. Meals were well put together with thought.
Will return soon.

Anniversary Dinner ... My fish was great and she enjoyed her scallops. The waiter knew about gluten free and dairy free things and could guide her with her choices. We had dessert and the two desserts came on a large plate with Happy Anniversary written in chocolate. Great evening.

The inside was crowded so we sat on the patio. Not such a good idea in the heat. The fish special was excellent as was the pasta dish. The shrimp on my salad was undercooked but the server took the shrimp and offered to have it replaced.

While my husband were visiting Tucson for the Independence Day holiday, we decided to dine at Wildflower. We absolutely loved it! The service, food and ambiance were all perfect. Save room for dessert, they make not only gorgeous looking desserts but they are extremely delicious as well.

When we first sat down, I wondered why I had such a limited selection of entrees to choose from, until I realized I had been presented with a lunch menu. Overall, the food was disappointing compared to past experiences here. My pork tenderloin was a bit overcooked and the sauce a little too sweet, which made the accompanying potatoes sweet, and drowned out any hint of the horseradish they were supposed to contain. As he described it, my dining companion's scallops were "just okay". Not sure we'll be returning any time soon. On the plus side, service was attentive, enthusiastic, and very pleasant and the "bars of sin" dessert was wonderful, as always.

Early reservation so we took advantage of happy hour for wine and appetizers. Short Rib Ravioli with requested grated Parmesan cheese was extrsordinary. Chicken open taco appetizer also woderful. One guest had fish & chips which was just OK. None of the desserts intrigued us; Would like to see some classics: creme brûlée, chocolate mousse and or cheesecake.
Busy & Service a bit slow for getting bread, which came with lovely herbed olive oil, and second glasses of wine.

Took advantage of their Fourth of July 25% off special... so worth it! The Chef's Board appetizer has all the bases covered; we loved the smokey grilled taste of the bread slices plus the fine selection of marcona almonds, olives, cheeses, meats, and YUM! the bacon-wrapped dates! So nice to find not one but two Paso Robles red wines by the glass... My husband enjoyed his spinach pappardelle to the last drop... I brought part of my Sesame Shrimp home... but we still indulged in dessert. The Bars of Sin did not disappoint; so rich that a single order is easily shared. Since my sweetie loves pineapple upside-down cake, he tried that as well... it was the only disappointment - not enough pineapple, coconut or caramel - so pleasant but not worth reordering.

The food was good. But service very slow. Not the servers fault but we waited about 40 minutes for a salad and a sandwich. We had a table outside as the indoor dining area is very noisy. I'm not sure I would return.

This is a real go-to-place for us but on July 4 we simply went there for lunch and to get the 25% discount that they offered. Who could beat that for great food, comfortable patio dining (where we could actually hear ourselves talk) AND at 75% off! At the regular prices you'll find us there regularly for a great chef's board with bacon-wrapped dates, the wonderful fresh-baked bread, and (my favorite--although I filled up on sharing the chef's board so I couldn't have it this time--the calamari! Oh, and the mussels...a wonderful place to dine.

Excellent lunch selection, appropriate portion sizes. Food is really outstanding (except all the iced tea options are flavored, ugh.) Acoustics are awful. Only 2 of us at the table and we had to lean in and speak loudly to converse in a half-empty room, but this is unfortunately typical for Tucson.
Service was a little spotty; good timing for ordering and we weren't rushed to finish but they had a hard time keeping my water glass full even with requests. I'll go again in a SECOND for the food, probably try the patio for noise.

i ordered the mussels, which are normally made with chorizo which i don't eat, They happily made them without the chorizo and they were delicious. the manager came over to see if they were okay. My friend enjoyed the soup of the day and artichoke. I've always had good food here.

My husband and I have been at Wildflower quite a few times. An very dear, old friend was in town and we wanted to show him some of Tucson's finest. My husband ordered the sweet pea agnolitti (sp?) as he had in the past. He said it was very heavy and not as good as the last time he ordered it. I ordered the Spinach papardalle and it was very bland.

I love the ambiance here. The value is great! Food has too much sugar added and liquid mesquite flavoring. Salmon does not need sugar to taste great. Artichokes do not need liquid mesquite flavoring to taste great. Service was wonderful but tables we so close servers kept knocking the things in our table. Overall a great value though!

This is our favorite restaurant in Tucson. The service and the food are fantastic. Wildflower of all the Fox restraints is one of the best. Great pork tenderloin and the pappardelle pasta is fantastic. Nancy and her team do a great job.

My family has been dining at this restaurant for the past 20 years. The quality has always been above average, although not always spectacular. On this occasion, everything we ordered was perfect. It could not have been better. It is always a bit noisier than I would like, but I'm not sure they can do much about it. Four different staff waited on us at some point, and all were excellent

I’ve always loved my meal at Wildflower, but I usually forget they have a terrible habit of not listing ALL the ingredients in each dish... for someone like me with a life threatening anaphylaxis level food allergy, that can be incredibly dangerous if I happen to forget to ask. I was ok in my meal because I asked questions, but my friend who was dining with me is vegan and ordered her spinach salad without blue cheese, I’d came with it, and they brought her another one quickly... only for her to realize half way into the salad that it also had bacon (not listed on the menu!)

Pretty sure my husband and I got sick from eating here. We used to love Wildflower for its romantic ambience, but, this time it did not have that special feel. They sat us outside after it had been raining, my husband's seat was wet and the server flipped it over and said it was fine. Halfway through dinner water began collecting under my seat and I had to tuck my long dress under me so it wouldn't get wet. Our server didn't seem to be concerned with the basics like bread or refills on drinks. And, she gave me the incorrect gift card back (one had a balance and the other did not) so I had to call and have the other one mailed to me AFTER I tried to use it at a later date at a different restaurant. We shared a starter and a salad, that is my guess where the sickness came from. Big bummer because we used to love this place!
