Wildflower - Tucson Ratings and Reviews
We have been here many times and always had great food and service. This time was awful! Our waitress forgot the appetizer we ordered and brought the soup and salad first. We had to ask for bread and she never came back to our table to refill the wine glasses.
My husband and I met an old friend who we hadn't seen in several years. Sat outside on the patio which was surprisingly secluded for being right off the parking lot and quiet even though Oracle is a very busy road. The waitress was wonderful...attentive, but not obtrusive and very understanding of us not being in a hurry since we hadn't seen each other in such a long time. The food was absolutely wonderful. I had their homemade pot pie which has the best crust I've had in ages along with very tasty innards....just enough different from a traditional pot pie to make it quite interesting. My husband had a chicken pasta dish which he said was delicious. Portion sizes were spot on. Plenty to make a filling lunch without being so huge that you either felt overfull from eating it all or wasteful for leaving some behind. Also felt their pricing was fair considering the quality of the food and service as well as the ambience. I would recommend Wildflower without hesitation and we will certainly be returning.
Visiting from out of town and Wildflower was recommended. Definitely a good dinner. Very pleasant experience. Stephanie, our server, did a great job despite handling a very large party at the same time. We never felt neglected, and she was quite helpful. Food was very good. The drink was good, not great (Blood orange margarita). Definitely would recommend the restauant.
We always eat outside on the patio because it is way too loud inside, and we have found that arriving after 1 p.m for lunch usually makes for quicker seating and less noise. Our food was very good, the artichoke and the Asian chicken salad, and we had good service as well. A large group of women diners who would not clear the patio when they finally got up to leave were annoying, but there is not much the restaurant could have done about such inconsiderate people. We were very happy that we were not at the table right next to them. We will return, and will hope for the best.
The woman behind the bar served us, and she was excellent. The food was poorly cooked, for all three of us. We didn't have the time to send back the food, but normally I would have done. I have been here many times before, which is what made this worse. My daughter was in town, and I thought this would be a good place to take her, even though it is normally more noisy than I prefer. I will not be in a hurry to return.
The food was great as usual. the butterscotch pudding is always a favorite.
The service was consistent and well paced. The server was very engaging and helpful.
The noise level could be improved with some attention to acoustics, but then it is a very large room with high ceilings.
This is our choice for special occasions.
In the time we were in the restaurant and seated, two seatings came and went and we were still there. Tho hours and fourth five minutes in total, and 45 minutes between salad and our dinner being served; 45 minutes! To make all this worse, there were several large mistakes, and Vivian (our server) never once said “I’m sorry”!
Extremely disappointing experience for my son’s 10th birthday.
Cold Salmon Salad
Let me say right off that I love this restaurant but on this occasion things were not up to snuff. Our server was very sweet and willing but our service was VERY slow- the table next to us arrived after us but were served well ahead of us, inexplicably. When my Market Salad plus salmon arrived, the salmon was COLD. Not warm, not room temp- COLD! When I complained, a manager of some sort came by to apologize and assured me I wouldn’t be charged and offered to bring me hot Salmon ASAP, but also said that not serving hot salmon was on purpose as they didn’t want to put hot protein on a cold salad. That sort of makes sense to me but mine was cold, like refrigerated cold. It was still cold a few minutes later so my sense is that it was precooked, refrigerated and served without heating. If not, it sat on the cold salad a long time. Which is possible considering how long it took to get our entrees, an hour from arrival!
Here’s hoping next time is better!
I loved this restaurant. My grown daughter and I had such a special evening here. The staff were attentive but also left us alone to visit. The food was amazing and so healthy. I had the fish special, which was amazing, and my daughter had paella, which was also amazing. The décor was lovely without taking itself too seriously. We truly enjoyed our time here. Thank you.
