Wildflower - Tucson
Wildflower, the first Fox Restaurant Concept, raised the culinary bar when it opened in Tucson in 1998. To this day, it continues to set the standard for innovative New American Cuisine featuring a melting pot of American classics with European and Asian influences. If that’s not enough, the restaurant offers 80 wines by the bottle and 25 by the glass – an excellent range for both the wine connoisseur and the novice.
Short Rib Ravioli
truffle cream, swiss chard, roasted mushroom, red chili flake, breadcrumb
Fish & Chips
french fries, coleslaw, tartar sauce
Lemongrass Skewered Scallops*
"forbidden" black rice, sautéed snap pea, soy butter
Delicious food, many options and very good service.
I suggest they add a nice mocktail menu for those patrons who do not drink alcohol. Not everyone wants to have the limited option of coke or water.
We had a not tasty meal for my daughter and she wouldn't return it for embarrassment reasons. The server kind of knew but didn't know how to handle the situation. I tried to intervene as the mother on our mother daughter date night however, my teenager didn't appreciate that attempt she won't eat this chicken pasta dish that we brought home that didn't seem like anyhow it was palatable to her we had a difficult night with the food. This was her favorite restaurant and that's why I took her there. I hope everything goes well and things can improve there. Agape Raeanne Hoffmann
We always have great food & exceptional service here. We have been going to Wildflower since the opened and will continue.
My friends and I always have a nice meal and experience here except for today
It was very busy so our service was VERY slow. Needed more help. Then there was a long black hair in my salad They did not charge me for my meal but really?? Hair in food??!!
New one year to the area but covid a huge damper on eating out, first time here. Very lovely atmosphere and we had a great meal. Bread and dipping oil fantastic. Really enjoyed the short rib pasta and bolognese, service was excellent. Love the architecture and sound levels just perfect, whoever owns this establishment really knows and pays attention. I"m sure we will return.
As always - I am happy to come to this restaurant - I am never disappointed, and every new person I bring here is a convert!! Thank you for the great food, ambiance and service....:)
A wonderful day to sit on the patio and enjoy great service a great food. Always nice to sit outside since it is so much easier to enjoy a conversation. The inside can be noisy. The food came quickly and our server was very pleasant and attentive.
Because of the pandemic, I had not been to Wildflower in over a year. Wildflower is one of my favorite restaurants and going there on Wednesday was fantastic. I'd forgotten how delicious the calamari is. Having lunch there with a companion was utterly delightful, more so than usual because of being locked away for so long.
I love Wildflower, the warm bread in the beginning of the meal, the delicious fresh entree and the thing I love the most, but did not indulge, are those fabulous, over the top, made to order doughnuts. If you haven't had these, you must try them!
We hadnt been out for a year due to Covid. Missing the experiences we decided to go to wildflower for my birthday. It was a mon evening and we opted for the patio. Heaters and spacing between tables made us very comfortable. The staff were amazing as was the food. From the artichoke appetizer to the beet salad and entrees of short rib ravioli and pasta bolognase we lounged between courses without feeling the slightest bit rushed as we sipped our bottle of Josh cab. Dessert was an added bonus of chocolate upon chocolate with a side of gelato and 2 chocolate chip cookies. We thoroughly enjoyed our leftovers the following evening and cant wait to return!
My seasonal vegetable salad was wonderful - added salmon and used the asian sesame dressing. Our waiter was very sweet and attentive.
Excellent service and wonderful cocktails! The food maintains a high level of quality.
Lovely atmosphere. The food was phenomenal. Perfect place for a date night. We will be coming back! Service was absolutely exceptional!
Kevin and Priscilla did a great job serving us
Excellent service and food, especially the grilled artichoke!
We have been to Wildflower many times and usually have a great experience. This time, not so much. We ordered artichokes for our appetizers and they were delicious! 2 of us ordered the soup and it was cold and had to be sent back. The main course was roasted chicken, which was very good. We had 4 different servers for some reason which was difficult. So that is why I rated it a 3.
Wildflower has been my go-to restaurant, especially during the pandemic. I can count on excellent food, very good service and always a safe and pleasant atmosphere. I have never been disappointed!
Well run restaurant food was very well prepared and presented - would defintely return
Our second time there. I had the black rice and shrimp bowl—good, but not as good as the lemongrass scallops which were heavenly.
I have been to Wildflower many times and I loved it! This time it was different. The food was just okay. Our waitress was in a very bad mood and didn’t get the orders correct. I am wondering if I will ever go back again.
Our server was very attentive and filled with menu knowledge. She did a perfect wine service the way it's supposed to be done and was very engaging in conversation.
The food is, as always, delicious with such yummy flavors making every experience there a special one. Thank you!
We were accommodated outside on the expanded patio, which we appreciated very much. A nice evening for outdoor dining with fish and chips and a bottle of Albariño, great service, followed by donuts to die for. Thank you, Wildflower staff.
The food is outstanding and so is the service. It was a bit noisy that fay but that’s because the restaurant was full.
We liked our meal here so much that we went back two days later. Mind, we were only staying in Tucson 4 nights. The atmosphere is great, the service wonderful and the food outstanding.
We loved our server, Holly. She was amazing! I had the lemongrass scallops—they were the best scallops I’ve ever had. The black rice and soy dressing were out of this world!
Sean was such an excellent server! Thank you!!!
They have expanded their outside patio area and it’s lovely
Delightful evening, good service, food still at Wildflowers standards and nice to be able to sit outside.
Great service and tasty food. Also seemed like they had many Covid protections in place.
A wonderful overall experience. We are already looking forward to our next visit!!
Beautiful ambience. Great service. Food was exceptional. They meet food sensitivities brilliantly. A must stop.
The food was amazing. Our service was quite slow. Multiple tables that were seated after us were greeted by their server and provided with bread and beverages before we ever even saw our server.
Everything was great, we be going back.
We decided to sit outside after walking inside to greet the hostess and it was incredibly loud. We asked the hostess to sit in the back corner and she accommodated perfectly! She was super sweet and made the best conversation. Then we were served by Jasmine and she was the sweetest most informative server we have ever had the pleasure being served by. If I needed more of something she didn’t hesitate to run back and grab it for me in a timely manner. We will definitely be back as this was our first time at Wildflower and we are obsessed now! We recommend asking for Jasmine but I am sure the other servers are just as amazing ☺️
Very safe environment. The food is always prepared well. The shrimp and avocado bowl is very flavorful, as either an appetizer to share or an entree. The wine menu is extensive as is the mixed drink menu.
A good choice during these times as the CDC recommendations are followed.
Great late lunch on the patio for husbands birthday. Delicious salmon and grilled shrimp and avocado bowl. Patio seating provided plenty of space between tables. Complimentary desert, bars of sin, topped off a wonderful meal. Service excellent too.
The ambiance was good. The service was good. The seating was okay, but right behind the doors, so we got a lot of drafty breezes when the doors were left open for a time.
The food, from the cheese/cauliflower soup to the Asian chicken salad, was fabulous! The service was outstanding. Sitting on the enclosed patio was a delight. Made reservations on line, which was extremely easy, and Wildflower provided updates and reminders of the reservation.
Wildflower is my favorite restaurant for lunch in Tucson!
Very pleasant lunch with 2 friends. The Fish & Chips were very good but a bit too crunchy.....hard to stick a fork into.
Servers were terrific.
Date night and fun to try a new place. Sat at the Bar and enjoyed talking to everyone and the servers bartender 👍😎
Early dinner. Salmon was very good. Roasted chicken also. Kale salad and cauliflower-cheddar soup were nice starters.
