Wildflower - Tucson
Wildflower, the first Fox Restaurant Concept, raised the culinary bar when it opened in Tucson in 1998. To this day, it continues to set the standard for innovative New American Cuisine featuring a melting pot of American classics with European and Asian influences. If that’s not enough, the restaurant offers 80 wines by the bottle and 25 by the glass – an excellent range for both the wine connoisseur and the novice.
Short Rib Ravioli
truffle cream, swiss chard, roasted mushroom, red chili flake, breadcrumb
horseradish gratin, sherry glazed beet, arugula
mizuna greens, yuzu emulsion, toasted sesame seed
We have been to this restaurant many times both before and after the imposition of COVED 19 restrictions. We arrived on time with our reservation and were immediately seated on their upper patio area. This was fine with us even though it was adjacent to the parking area. However, out of sight, out of mind as it was about ten minutes before we were waited upon. To our delight our food server was Maria who we have had before. From there on the service was attentive and prompt. The food was very good and the portions large. With exception of the lag in service on being seated we thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience as we normally do with this establishment.
If you ever have the pleasure of dining at Wildflower you will see why it’s my favor place on Earth!
Maria, our server, was most accommodating and supplied our every need.
The patio area is delightful and adequately spaced according to the current guidelines for physical distancing.
I loved the shrimp bowl and our server Juliet was great
Our server, Jasmine, was excellent. Prompt, knowledgeable, and courteous.
Food was pretty good, though the artichoke appetizer wasn't fully cooked as it should have been. Entrees quite good and reasonably priced. Service friendly and reasonably quick. Felt safe despite COVID; mask rules enforced and tables distanced. We eat here each time we visit the area, and always return.
Love it. A LOT
We started having Sunday Brunch at Wildflower during COVID. Wildflower has a lovely outdoor dining area and we’ve never been disappointed in the food. Today we had the Calamari, Short Rib Ravioli and the Asian Chicken Salad. Although we did not have the Cinnamon Doughnuts and would high recommend them!
Excellent food and service, good choices for wine by the glass.
Service was a little on the slow side, but we weren't in a hurry.
Great experience as always !! Food is consistently very good & servers are always very pleasant & accommodating. Great outdoor patio makes us feel safer.
Took my Granddaughter to dinner & we had a lovely time.
Nice to go to Wildflower again!
Great food and service. They noticed it was my wife's birthday and gave us a special dessert with a candle. Very nice!
The smoked salmon appetizer and short rib ravioli were awesome. our server was really upbeat. I can see why Tucson rates this place high.
This was my first time at Wildflower. The food was very good and the service was excellent!. My one complaint - the noise level. My friend and I ate inside the restaurant at noon on a weekday, and it was a bit hard to hear each other. Not sure if it was the kitchen noise or what. I might think twice about revisiting.
Our server was excellent, courteous and attentive. The food was delicious as usual. Your attention to Covid precautions is much appreciated
The food was fantastic. Juliette was our server and she was the best! It is a wonderful place to dine.
Service was impeccable and the food was just as good.
My only problem was that even though I booked several days in advance for an outside table, I was told there was no space outside when we arrived. After insisting and threatening to leave, we did get an outside table, one of a few that were available at the time.
Great food and service and I felt very safe on patio
We had a great time. Great people and fabulous food.
pleasant evening and we were able to sit in the patio.
Beautiful surroundings, delicious and interesting foods and friendly, helpful servers.
Our dinner, service, dining environment/experience was awesome. The staff accommodated my special requests for the evening.
We will continue to support Wildflower!
Thank you so much !
Great patio to enjoy a beautiful day with our friends.
As a finicky eater I usually stick with a boring burger or something equally mundane. Now the burgers here are NOT boring. The only problem is I order burgers medium rare and they come out here so juicy that you need a fork and knife to fully enjoy one. Today I thought I'd step outside my comfort zone and I ordered a half chicken that really was an outstanding choice and heartily recommended.
The service here is consistently good and they are great about social distancing in this craziness we're all going through. Better selection of desserts would be nice but after all these years of putting out great food I'll overlook the additional calories.
Everything was excellent. I would have preferred to sit outside because it is quieter, but a cold snap had come in abruptly and they didn’t have heaters outside. It was a little hard to hear conversation inside. That was the only downside; everything else was great!!!
Wildflower is one of my favorite restaurants in Tucson. When it’s not too hot, I love the patio. Inside the restaurant is very loud, another reason why I prefer the patio seating. The food is always good and the wait staff are very courteous and helpful.
We were seated right away, our waiter was very knowledgeable, the service was impeccable and the food was delectable. Could not have asked for a better evening out.
Kaili was an amazing server. She went above and beyond for us! The food and drinks were incredible! I will definitely be back if ever I’m in Tucson.
Loved it! WE wanted outdoor seating and they delivered! Beautiful and yummy!
Quantity was below expectations and in comparison to similar restaurants. Service was very good.
Always excellent food and service. Patio seating is pleasant and safe distanced.
Wildflower is consistently great in both food and service. Their outdoor seating area has always been my first choice because it is nesseled in and surrounded by plants.
The hummus was excellent
Had a reservation for 2 at 5:00 PM. Arrived at restaurant and checked in. Hostess took us to a very small table in the middle of the room. It would have been impossible to enjoy at meal at this tiny table located out in the open. We asked to sit somewhere else and were told all available tables were reserved for larger parties including those on the patio. We were basically told “Sorry, unless you want to wait 30 minutes we can’t help you”. There were several tables for 4 with only 2 guests. Not sure why their service was more important than ours. WON’T BE BACK.
