This is my third meal at Wildfish. My thoughts were that Wildfish does not know whether it wants to be a sports bar with TV's or fine dining. After eating at Eddie V's a week before, I could see that the level of professional service from the front desk to the take away staff was not quite the same. My waiter was excellent though! No one at Wildfish for instance, swiped away crumbs on the table for example. The quality of food was the same but I think the TV's give Wildfish a bit more casual experience. I am not sure they want that. The restaurant is very energetic so a date is difficult. You have to shout to hear each other. I know Eddie V's is a sister to Wildfish, I will pick Eddie's for a date night. It is just more posh with almost the same menu.
Disappointed in the food. Only a notch above ordinary. Expected something more unique based on the ratings. The preparation and quality of ingredients seemed fine, but I did not find the flavors/textures to be particularly unique or tasty. Service was good, although the food came so quickly, I had hardly started my cocktail.
Great food and service. Atmosphere was energetic but not to loud to have a conversation. Lobster tacos appetizer was wonderful. Sword fish and fillet Oscar entrees were very good. Try a desert you won’t be disappointed.
We had a great meal 2 nights ago. We came back today, March 18th for a drink at the bar and found this restaurant went out of business. We don't understand why????
Great meal, however they tried to put us at an undesirable table, next to a bussing station. Why do they do that? We requested to be moved which seemed like an major change, with 8 better table locations. Our request was finally granted, the balance of the evening was good.
Wonderful my favorite restaurant
Our waiter Eric was very personable. Amazing wine list. The food was delivered quickly and was delish.
Awesome dinner with terrific service made our evening one to remember.
In a word...spectacular!!! A 10 of 10 experience! The ambiance was great, the service was exceptional, and the food was incredible! Try it...you’ll like it!
We had an excellent dining experience, well worth it! The staff made it even more memorable by using first names and commenting on our celebration. Thank you!
Very enjoyable! Calamari was amazing! The parmesan sole and the black cod was fabulous.
Our group of four enjoyed Wildfish. Very attractively decorated with good service. Most of our food was very good. The one exception was the swordfish which was overcooked. Normally when you have a thick piece of swordfish you are able to cook properly and maintain moistness internally. This ended up being a $45 dried out piece of swordfish with great dressing and sauce. I would go again but would specify to not overcook.
We were there for a bachlorette weekend and we couldn't stop raving about how good the food was. Thank you so much!
It was a very nice dinner.celebrated a friends birthday
The food here is excellent. Very well-prepared seafood, beautiful salads and delicious desserts. Parmesan-crusted sole was great, as were my spouse's scallops. Huge salads with a few novel ingredients. Creme brulee was spoon-licking good. The restaurant is relatively quiet; the service professional. As with most Scottsdale restaurants, it's pricey, but you get what you pay for.
Wildfish is one of our "Go-To" restaurants when we have guests in town, or for Happy Hour, or for pretty much any occasion. The food is always good and the service excellent. This visit and our service from Nikko was the best that we have ever experienced here.
Excellent as always
Outstanding jumbo lump crab cakes, crab and corn chowder, misoyaki black cod. However, Chilean sea bass Hong Kong style was most disappointing at $45, the most expensive fish offering: fish was fresh but very bland, needed to be steamed (and garnished) with lots of julienned fresh ginger, green onions, shiitake mushrooms and fresh cilantro, instead of being plated with just pickled ginger slices from the raw bar. Very expensive! especially when one dish fails completely.
always dine here when in scotts dale friendly and efficient staff
Very expensive, nothing under $40 on menu. All steaks were 55 plus? I don’t mind spending, but this place is very average and casual and not worth 150 plus for 2? Been at hundreds of restaurants and while the food was very good, it wasn’t worth this kind of money. Felt like a glorified Friday’s.
Had a great time!
Fantastic dinner! Visited last year and had exceptional service, and same bartender, same FANTASTIC service. Happy hour prices, quality and quantity is exceptional. One of my favorite Scottsdale restaurants - service level is great which takes this place to another level!
My food was way too salty- the tomatoes, the potatoes and the steak. I have been to the restaurant before and ordered a strip steak that was absolutely wonderful. The steak I had this time was undercooked (rare, not medium rare) and just ok..not as tender and tasty as I expected. My husband’s swordfish was the only dish of the four we ordered that was exceptional. Since we were taken there as a “thank you “ dinner, I did not want to complain. Despite my disappointment with the food, the service was excellent.
Wonderful food, great service. All 4 meals were excellent (prawns, chilean sea bass, lobster, scallops). Our server knew we were heading to the Cavalia horse show after our meal, and he made sure we were on our way in plenty of time. We will definitely be back. Thank you Wildfish!
food was wonderful (swordfish and sole w/crabcake) and the service was excellent (Charley was our waiter) looking forward to returning.

Great oysters! Very good service and food
Service was excellent and the desert we had was fantastic.
Service and food is always great ... truly enjoy this restaurant
Always fabulous. A must every time we come to Scottsdale.
Excellent seafood restaurant. Fine selection of dishes with a few non-seafood options. Excellent wine list and service. While not cheap, the meal was worth the price. Was a bit tricky to find for a non-native. This is a good place for a quiet, quality seafood meal with a nice bottle of wine.
The food and service was very good! A little pricey but definitely worth it. The fresh oysters were presented very well and the quality was great. Definitely would go back as well as refer people.
Wildfish serves beautifully prepared and so fresh seafood. The staff are friendly and attentive, the decor is contemporary. All-in-all this is a great restaurant.
Celebrated a successful run of the Sprouts Phx/Mesa Marathon and went to the Wildfish for a celebration dinner and was not disappointed. The crab chowder, the sea bass and the bananas foster were all recommended by our waiter and each tasted amazing. I could not have been more pleased with this experience. My one drawback was the noise level of the restaurant. It was loud and we felt like we were shouting at one another at times to be heard. But regardless we had a great meal and would definitely return, again and again.
Just amazing! We were so glad we got in! The drinks were great and the lobster tacos were amazing. It was all amazing!
Service was amazing as was the food. Seafood was incredibly fresh and prepared perfectly. Our waitress (Rebecca) was awesome. The whole family and guests enjoyed the experience and evening. We’re definitely coming back again.
The food was wonderful as was the service. It is a bit noisy.
They seated us early, gave a nice choice of tables, service was friendly and helpful, they made meals without sauce, food was wonderful and smoked old fashion prepared at table side was amazing. Excellent experience all around.
Food was of high quality and service was spot on. Arrived about 15 minutes early and was seated promptly
Our server, Lauren, was fantastic! One of the best I’ve had in a long time.
The service and food were excellent. We’ve dined tHere 4 times and have never been disappointed.
Thank you Damon and the rest of your staff.
