Wildfish Seafood Grille - Scottsdale Ratings and Reviews
Made a last minute reservation to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and the staff went the extra mile to make it a special night. Our server (Alexander) was very knowledgeable and made perfect wine recommendations to pair with our meals. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is in the area
Food was good, drinks good, a little noisy.
Had a major screwup where one couple arriving early was seated on one side of the restaurant and the other on the other side even though we asked the maitre d if the other couple had arrived and been seated. After 30 min of calling, and emailing each other we finally did find one another.
Our service was impeccable, along with the food! Crab cakes may be the best I’ve ever had, and I have had many. Not mushy at all,but rather very lightly breaded with lots of fresh lumps of crab. The sea bass was amazing! Our waiter, Peter, was attentive and checked in with us constantly. The ambiance was superb!!
I want to thank my server, Rebecca. She was great -- attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. She made excellent suggestions. That said, the food was amazing. I had the crabcake starter followed by the sole for my main course. The bread that came with the meal was homemade and amazing. If anything was less than perfect, it was the cocktail. I had the Tokyo Gimlet and it was a bit weak and watery. The white wine, on the other hand (an Albarinho, Rios Baijas) was amazing. So, while pricey, I did think I got value for money. I would definitely recommend the place to friends and would come back, myself.
We thoroughly enjoyed our evening from start to finish. We sat in a corner booth which was very cozy/romantic for celebrating Valentine's. Kevin, our server, was very helpful selecting our wine to go along nicely with our dinner choices. And, to top everything off, we had dessert, YUMMY-DELISH!! We will return.... soon. Thank you for making us feel special!!
Of all the wonderful Scottsdale restaurants, this is our favorite. Their beef and lamb are as good as their fabulous fresh sea food. Lots of options.
We love their perfectly cooked veggies, and great desserts, too.
The ambiance is ideal for special occasions or happy hour with friends.
We were celebrating my Aunt’s 88th birthday and she specifically requested seafood! She had lobster bisque, the Parmesan sole and a complimentary dessert-Godiva chocolate cake. She ate every bite and declared it her best birthday ever! Special thanks to our server, Jake!
I have not eaten at Wildfish in awhile. I ordered the roasted seabass. I really did not like it at all. The preparation was good, but there was tons of brown meat in the fish. It really turned me off, so I barely ate the dinner.
I did not say anything. My friend's mother just passed away that I was dining with and I didn't want to make a big deal of it.
