My girlfriend and I decided to have dinner here for her birthday, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. This is one of the first nicer restaurants we’ve tried here in San Antonio and they have really set the bar high. Food quality/preparation as well as service was 10/10. We have both agreed we are without a doubt going back for another visit.
Wildfish is one of best restaurants I’ve been to. The swordfish is a must have. Great experience & be sure to ask for Al’s section.
Amazing food and service. We ordered three different courses and an appetizer and by the best seafood we have had in Texas. Our waiter could not have been more professional and friendly.
Great food and as usual waiter was the best!
The server outstanding
great evening. thanks Gilbert.
great food, great ambiance, personable service.
Great!!! The food liked every one of the 8 people party. The service was special. Jake dos great!!!! Thaks!!
Oyesters were awesome as was the wine choices. The entrees not so much. Red fish with crab was pretty bad. Wife had scallops special and it was way too rich. I’ll be back for oysters but never again will pay $35+ for entrees.
Excellent Resturaunt for Romantic experience, and different cuisine.
An outstanding restaurant with great food and a terrific wait staff.
A wonderful meal!
Food has been consistently outstanding. My favs are the swordfish and more recently the scallops with brown butter and citrus. Paired excellently with a Sancerre. Shrimp appetizer with turbo horseradish is no joke. Crab fried rice and truffle mac and cheese are must tries. Bar staff equally excellent as well.
The service and food here are top notch. One of our favorite restaurants to go to for a special evening.
We are wildfish fans and go at least once a month. But this visit was so disappointing. The food was so so. Rather bland. It wasn't bad just not delicious as it always was in the past. We will probably think twice before going back. Maybe give it one more shot. IDK. Very disappointed.
Best crabcake, best seabass, best service. Favorite seafood restaurant in the USA.
We came to Wildfish for our one year anniversary and overall we were very happy. Service was prompt, food was tasty and served quickly, and the cocktails were amazing. They offered us any dessert on the menu compliments of the restaurant for our special occasion. Very great experience!
As usual, we were treated to a wonderful evening celebrating my wife’s birthday.
We had our favorite waiter “Al” who, as usual, fawned over my wife.
Food, drinks, service, all outstanding, thus making the birthday event memorable.
Outstanding experience. The manager Brandon is very welcoming and hospitable. Our server Kia did a great job. Food was amazing. We ordered the Sea Bass and the filet, both were delicious.
The food was delicious! The staff was great. Everything was lovely.
Food was amazing and service was excellent. Beautiful.
Everything was fresh and tasty. I had the swordfish, truffle mac and cheese, oysters, and for desert the banana foster which was presented as a flambe. The staff was super friendly. My reservation was at 5pm and I got lost. Even though I showed up an hour late they still seated me. Love this place and will definitely be going back.
We had a wonderful dinner. Our server was absolutely delightful. She had a lovely personality and took care of all our needs including my special food needs. The manager was also so friendly, making sure our needs were met as well. Finally, the food was delicious.
This was my wife's and mine first time eating at Wildfish (our server informed us they are changing the name to Eddie V's, but the menu will remain the same). My wife has been wanting to try Wildfish for a some time now. So I figured that I would take her there for our anniversary dinner, and we were not disappointed. Everything was great. We were a little early, but were seated quickly. There was a nice card at the table. The drink menu had some interesting specialty drinks to choose from. The food and service was great. I enjoyed the fact that our main course did not come out quickly after our salads arrived at our table. Plenty of time to enjoy the salad and company. The manager stopped by to wish us a Happy Anniversary, then later stopped by to take away our salad plates when we were finished. Again, we were very impressed with everything and will be back.
Overall, wildfish does not disappoint. A little pricy for what your getting compared to seafood on the coast of Fl, NC, Va and Ca; however, it’s definitely the best seafood spot we have found in San Antonio.
Great food. Amazing service. Seriously worth every penny
Had dinner with great friends. It was lovely.
The atmosphere and service was exceptional!
My son and I were in town for the Final Four and I wanted this to be a special dinner for us. The food was amazing, as was out waiter Tony who comped us on our dessert because they were out of my first preference. The fish was fresh and the wine suggested pair wonderfully with our dinners
Vanessa did an outstanding job on the table service. I travel to a lot of the coasts and found the sea bass cooked Hong Kong style to be one of the best in the US. Able to eat the fresh fish with chop sticks-so flaky
My husband wanted our Easter dinner with his aunt and uncle to be a special experience. Wildfish filled the bill and more. From the greeting at the complimentary valet stop until we returned to our car after the meal, every team member was friendly and accommodating.
Our waiter, Raphael, was knowledgeable, attentive and engaging. His recommendations were spot on. The food was all well prepared, beautifully presented and appropriately timed for our enjoyment. My favorite “foodie” find was the arugula and sautéed wild mushroom salad with apple cider vinaigrette. It was topped with a dollop of goat cheese that had been warmed ever so slightly, just enough to insure that each arugula leaf had its own wisp of tangy essence. My husband was even wowed by the protein packed vegan option. Truly an evening well spent.
Went for Easter dinner! Always ask for Brian! He is AMAZING!
Great food, great experience.
Out Easter Friends tradition brunch was amazing at Wildfish. Every dish was superb, Laura gave great recommendations and superior service. Thank you for a lovely day and for not rushing us. Fabulous Easter brunch!!!
Overall decor and service was pleasant...definitely classy. Expensive grilled shrimp plate was unimpressive however. Shrimp were very difficult to cut and extremely "chewy" (most likely overcooked)....should have sent it back.
Good food. I don't know that it was worth the price we paid...but it was good. I visit this restaraunt every year and and a half or two...and that's just about right, I think.
The food is stellar. Goldfish has become my absolute favorite seafood.
My husband and I dine here every anniversary. This year happens to be 23 years!! I ordered the crab fried rice and shrimp dinner. (I get this every year). This time my crab fried rice was very salty. I did tell my waiter, however he said he would bring me another one. Unfortunately when the waiter returned he said it would take a while for the rice to cook and that I will have to order something else. I was very disappointed. He took the rice off the bill but I never got what I truly wanted.
Felt like a sports bar. Had a good selection, but for a fancy and expensive restaurant, service was slow and poor, the place was so noisy I could not carry on a conversation, the place was not elegant, and I will not return. Overpriced for the comfort level provided. Everything including side dishes priced separately. I did not even have a drink(except water) and we paid over $100 for 2 diners.
